As life gets busier and the festive season becomes more commercialized, a traditional Christmas dinner can help recapture all those warm and fuzzy holiday feelings.

This festive menu is inspired by traditional holiday feasts from the colonial days of Canada when asparagus and raspberries couldn't be had for any price in December and when the Christmas bird was more likely wild as bought from the grocers.

Menu:
Roast Goose with Prune Bread Stuffing
Giblet Gravy
Maple-Glazed Rutabaga and Parsnips
Buttermilk-Chive Mashed Potatoes
Date Pudding with Brandied Caramel Sauce
