Ingredients

2/3 cup (150 mL) butter, softened |
|
|
|
2/3 cup (150 mL) brown sugar |
|
|
|
2 eggs |
|
|
|
2 tsp (10 mL) vanilla |
|
|
|
1-1/2 cup (375 mL) all-purpose flour |
|
|
|
1 cup (250 mL) rolled oats |
|
|
|
1/2 tsp each baking soda |
|
|
|
(2 mL) and cinnamon |
|
|
|
1 cup (250 mL) dried cranberries |
|
|
|
6 oz (175 g) white chocolate, coarsely chopped |

Preparation
|
|
Cream butter with brown sugar, mix in eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, stir flour with oats, baking soda, cinnamon, cranberries and chocolate. Stir flour mixture with butter mixture until well-combined. Press batter evenly into a 9-x 13-in (3.5 L) greased pan. Bake in preheated 350F (180C) oven for 20 minutes or until golden. Place on wire rack to cool for 10 to 15 minutes; slice into squares. Cool completely and store tightly covered.
