After one bite, you'll have to agree that dark chocolate and prunes are a heavenly combination, made even better with the addition of walnuts. Look for unsulphured prunes for the best taste and texture.

Ingredients

•

3-1/2 oz (100 g) dark chocolate, chopped

•

1/2 cup (60 mL) quartered pitted prunes

•

8 walnut halves, toasted

Preparation

In small heatproof bowl set over saucepan of hot, not boiling, water, melt chocolate. Stir in prunes and walnuts. Spread out on parchment paper–lined baking sheet, pushing in sides to make 4-inch/10 cm circle. Refrigerate until firm, about 1-1/2 hours. Cut into pieces.
