| After one bite, you'll have to agree that dark chocolate and prunes are a heavenly combination, made even better with the addition of walnuts. Look for unsulphured prunes for the best taste and texture. |

Ingredients

3-1/2 oz (100 g) dark chocolate, chopped |
|
|
|
1/2 cup (60 mL) quartered pitted prunes |
|
|
|
8 walnut halves, toasted |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Preparation
|
|
|
In small heatproof bowl set over saucepan of hot, not boiling, water, melt chocolate. Stir in prunes and walnuts. Spread out on parchment paper–lined baking sheet, pushing in sides to make 4-inch/10 cm circle. Refrigerate until firm, about 1-1/2 hours. Cut into pieces.
