3 minutes to a pain-free neck

By Alison Finney

What's a quick and easy way to relieve neck tension at work?

Here's a quick and easy way to massage away neck tension while sitting at your desk.

1. Circle your thumbs at the base of your skull for 20 to 30 seconds.

2. Slide your fingers up your neck and past your hairline to the top of your head. Repeat four to five times.

3. Slide your fingers through your hair, from your temples and across the sides of your head toward the back of your head. Repeat four to five times and finish by smoothing your hair.

In less than five minutes you can help melt away neck tension and prevent tension headaches.
