The right side of sweet dreams

By Alison Finney

Should I favour a certain sleep position for relaxation?

Get ready for sleep by lying on your right side. This makes your breathing pattern switch so you’re breathing mostly through your left nostril. Breathing on your left side helps to quiet your mind and relaxes your nervous system. Once you start to feel more relaxed, gently move into your usual sleeping position for a wonderful sleep. Awake in the morning feeling rested and refreshed.
