Alison's ultimate relaxation soak

By Alison Finney

What the best way to draw a body-healing, stress-melting bath?

Bath salts leave skin feeling soft and refreshed, and can help relieve muscle strain, rheumatism and arthritic pain. Make your own bath salts with this easy recipe:

• 4 drops of lavender essential oil
• 2 drops of rosemary essential oil
• 2 drops of peppermint essential oil
• 1 cup of sea salt

Add the essential oils to the sea salt and mix well.

Sprinkle the aromatic bath salts into a bath that’s full of warm to hot water and stir with your hands to disperse. Get in and soak for 20 minutes.

Drink herbal tea or water while in the tub to relax inside and out.

Pat your skin dry and wrap yourself in a bathrobe or blanket. Lie down to rest, with your legs elevated. Enjoy!
