		<description>Yes, I&#039;m sure a fairly plain kitty litter works fine -- if you have a cat and have it on hand, it&#039;s worth a try! 

Gravel is a great choice, thanks to the drainage it provides, plus it&#039;s dark, so even with a bit of an ice blanket it&#039;ll heat up and melt its frosty icing.</description>
