I've been making more of an effort to eat local Ontario produce, including root vegetables and squashes in winter. In truth, I get tired of imported broccoli and cauliflower, so I've enjoyed expanding my vegetable basket a little. My newest discovery: celery root. Goes to show you can't judge an incredibly ugly root vegetable by its cover.
