"We really enjoyed the In-Home Design service. After moving into our new home, it was hard to see what we could put in each room—how much furniture would fit, where to place it, et cetera. Having Katie come out to our home, take measurements and listen to our vision... It made the experience exciting. She took what was in our heads and brought it all together to create beautiful spaces!” - Jalene, In-Home Designs Customer

Katie

“I believe in practical design. It’s not just about looking good; the space needs to function in a way that meets all the clients’ needs. Part of that practical design involves using neutrals on larger furniture and integrating pattern with accent pieces and accessories. That way, you have a good, solid foundation and it’s less expensive to change things up!”

Katie has a bachelors degree in interior design and has been professionally trained in both residential and commercial interior design. Her specialties include space planning, upholstery and leather furnishings, as well as the application of diverse materials to create a comfortable, balanced environment.

Pam

"When someone asks me what my style is, my answer is always the same—it’s about your style, not mine! When getting to know my client, I ask many questions in order to help me tap into their personal aesthetic. I love mixing colors and textures. My secret is to make sure there’s a common thread or color used throughout the area to tie everything together. I focus on form and function in order to make a space just right. The most important part is making sure my client is thrilled with their home."

Pam has 26 years of retail experience, giving her the ability to help customers and clients easily define their wants and needs. She also has extensive knowledge of all phases of construction, having served as the general contractor (and a late-night laborer) on the construction of her own home. In addition, Pam spent seven years designing custom kitchens and bathrooms for high-end homes in Anchorage, AK, where she received awards for her designs with SubZero and Wolf.
