Coconut Coffee Recipe
Coconut Coffee
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp coconut syrup (may substitute 1/4 cup coconut milk)
- 1-1/2 cups strong, hot, freshly brewed coffee
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 2 tsp grated coconut
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Preparation
1. Stir coconut syrup into coffee and sweeten to taste with sugar. Pour into two large glasses.
2. Whip cream until stiff and use to top drink — if desired, use a pastry bag with a star tip.
3. Combine grated coconut and cinnamon and sprinkle on cream. Immediately serve hot.
Serves: 2
Tip: Before pouring in the drink, coat the rims of the glasses with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
