As satisfying as a crunchy potato chip but almost fat-free.

Ingredients

10 spring roll wrappers
1 tbsp  (15 mL)  tamari or soy sauce
¼ tsp  (1 mL)  hot pepper sauce
2 tsp  (10 mL)  sesame seeds

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F (180C). Cut stack of wrappers into quarters on the diagonal to make four triangles. Peel apart and lay flat on baking sheets. In a small bowl, combine tamari and hot pepper sauce.

Brush evenly over tops of triangles. Sprinkle sesame seeds over evenly. Bake in oven for about 4 minutes or until crisp.

Cool completely. Serve or store in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Makes 40 crisps.

Variation: Substitute egg roll wrappers for spring roll wrappers if necessary. Increase cooking time to 8 minutes.

Fast & Easy: 30 minutes or less (prep and cooking time)

Make-Ahead: Can be made at least 8 hrs ahead.
