If you dutifully observe tea time, you may be cutting your risk of developing skin cancer.
While it's important to avoid a sunburn or tan and stay out of the sun during its peak hours, drinking green or black tea can actually help increase your body's ability to fight off the damaging effects of ultraviolet rays.
Studies have shown that people who regularly drink one or more cups of tea a day have a 20 to 30 per cent lower risk of developing the most common types of skin cancer, thanks to tea's antioxidant content. So apply sunscreen, stay in the shade when the sun's blazing...and bottoms up!
