Exercise for a healthier brain
One of the best things you can do to reduce your risk of Alzheimer's disease is to exercise. "It's been found that when you exercise, you increase in your brain the levels of growth factors, chemicals in the brain that helps the brain make connections and maintain the health of nerve cells," explains Diamond.
Medical experts also encourage doing brain exercises such as crossword puzzles, games and chess to ward off the disease. Socializing with others also keeps your brain working and promotes a healthy brain.
