Fruits and veggies: the key to healthy skin
I keep my skin from being ravaged during the winter months by eating a well-balanced healthy diet, a variety of vegetables and drinking plenty of water. I adjust my beauty routine by cleansing and toning and applying moisturizer to my skin twice a day.
Jamie Li, Vancouver B.C.

Revitalize skin with a good nap
I moisturize with a moisturizer that has SPF, drink lots of water, and increase my fibre intake. And it doesn't hurt to also take a lot of extra naps during the day.
Julius Ancheta, Mississauga Ont.

Secret to radiant winter skin: in-shower moisturizers
I find using an in-shower moisturizer helps to keep dry, flaky skin at bay.
Marni Cook, Winnipeg, Man.

Don't forget to moisturize your mouth
I use tons of moisturizer. I put it on in the morning after I wash my face when my face is still damp -- that way it locks in the moisture. I also pay special attention to my lips and keep them very moisturized in the winter.
Leisa Rundle, New Westminster B.C.

Add more creams to your day
I add more creams to my day. I continue to use face moisturizer with sunscreen but use cream on my hands and body since I am in the pool three times a week and outdoors a lot.
Elizabeth Greenan, Summerside P.E.I.

Treat your tootsies right with cotton socks
I put on loads of moisturizer, and on my feet I use thick cream with cotton socks to keep them from cracking -- it's worth the effort.
Heather Bennett, Kingston N.S.

Exfoliate rough winter skin away
I use a salt scrub once a week to slough off all the dead skin and use cream to moisturize afterwards.
Doreen Riopel, Timmins, Ont.

Stave off fine lines with sunscreen
To keep my skin healthy during the winter months, I moisturize daily from head to toe and still continue to wear sunscreen on my face when outdoors during the winter to stave off fine lines.
Dianne Richter, Hamilton Ont.

Recharge your skin with a relaxing bath
When my husband is watching hockey on TV, I am in the jacuzzi tub! Lots of baths help keep my skin soft in the winter.
Marlene Sanderson, Lindsay Ont.

Renew dry skin with olive oil soap
I use hydrating olive oil soap and I apply a rich cream on my body after each bath.
Carine Lefebvre, Sainte-Edwidge Que.
