How to choose a greener toilet paper

Choose recycled paper products and you'll help to save trees.

By Aileen Brabazon

What you wipe with can have a major impact on the earth. Thousands of trees from Canada's ancient Boreal forest are cut down every year to make paper products such as toilet paper.

To help preserve the trees, simply swap out your typical bathroom tissue and choose recycled types, which feel soft and work just like the other stuff.

According to Green Peace Canada, if every Canadian household replaced just one roll of traditional toilet paper with one roll of green TP, we could save 47,962 trees a year!
