Rum Point Beach

Rum Point Beach

Crystal clear warm water, soft white sand and a gentle breeze. This is Rum Point Beach. First marked on a 1773 map on the northern coast of Grand Cayman, according to legend, the area got its name after barrels of rum washed onto its shores after a ship wreck. Today, you can enjoy a little rum in some of the slushy cocktails served at The Wreck Bar and Grill on the beach.
