This position recruits, screens and interviews applicants to maintain staffing requirements for the company.

Specific duties include:

  • Advertise (internal and external), recruit, screen, test and complete the initial prescreen interview
  • Work with managers on their staffing needs
  • Coordinate scheduling of pre-employment requirements (i.e. drug test, physical/lift test and background checks)
  • Schedule, organize and represent the company at job/career fairs
  • Create and/or update job descriptions and recruiting process, as needed
  • Review internal applicants and determine the next step
  • Schedule, set up and conduct phone screens of qualified applicants
  • Notify candidates who have not been selected
  • Log and track the source of the candidates
  • Schedule and complete onboarding paperwork and orientation
  • Follow up with all new hires during their first year of employment
  • Train/coach managers in selection process
  • Execute the exit interviews of resigning staff (face to face or send form)
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all Human Resources related information
  • Establish and manage shifting priorities, multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Assist Human Resources as needed on projects, filing, copying and organizing
  • Provide feedback to management regarding efficiencies, safety and productivity
  • Follow all operational and safety procedures
  • The above responsibilities and additional duties may vary as assigned


We are looking for a solid, reliable worker with a strong work ethic and a positive, engaging personality. You must be highly organized and detail-oriented while still being able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Specific qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Recruiting experience that includes interviewing and selecting candidate for the next step
  • 1 – 2 years recruiting experience
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Professional and customer-focused (internal and external)
  • Able to perform routine administrative tasks, including copying, faxing documents and file maintenance
  • Talent scouting, ability to work nights and weekends based on business needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understands the importance of deadlines
  • Highly organized, strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
  • Working knowledge of email, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Physical expectations:

  • Sitting at a desk, performing computer and phone tasks
  • Frequent talking, listening and seeing
  • Walking and standing for long periods

Environmental conditions:

  • Will work indoors
  • Conditions may include hot/cold temperatures, dusty surroundings and noisy work environment
