The Purple Innovation Freefoam Standard Pillow offers fully customizable support for a personalized sleep experience. Made with shapeable MicroFlex® Moon Foam and covered in a Honeycomb GelFlex Grid, this pillow adapts to the contours of your head and neck while providing the density needed for proper alignment. You can adjust the amount of fill to fine-tune height and firmness, and add fill to the neck chambers for targeted support, making it ideal for any sleep style. Each pillow comes generously packed, and a complimentary 12” x 20” throw pillow case stores excess fill for mess-free personalization. Rated 3 out of 5 by from I want to love my pillow I purchased my husband the first purple pillows a month or so back. After waking up with headaches my husband told me he loved his pillow and I should try it, so I did. And I loved his pillow, so I went back to the store and got my own. But my pillow definitely doesn't have the same feel to it. After comparing the stuffing inside I noticed his has more of the purple stuffing while mine has more of the fiber filling. I'm not sure if this is the reason for the difference or not. My husband would definitely recommend this pillow but I'm not sure that I would. His pillow stuffing is on the right and mine is on the left in the picture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it, but wish it came with extra stuffing. I love the adjustable pillow, but wish you put extra stuffing in the order so I could actually add .it is supposed to be adjustable as the name implies. Not everyone only wants to subtract stuffing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes This is the best pillow Purple has ever made. I also love the Harmony pillow but that's not adjustable. I removed 1-1/4 bags of foam from my Freeform pillow and it's now perfect for me. I also removed the foam in the neck support chamber as I like it better without it. It's really cool that you can do this if you want. The pillow comes with one of the neck support chambers filled so if you ever want to change around quickly you just reverse the pillow. you can also fill both of the chambers if you like and have neck support on both sides of the pillow. They even give you a small pillowcase to store the extra foam you remove, then you can use that as a throw pillow! Love this pillow and will be buying them for all my beds.

I suffered from terrible neck pain from my cheap pillow I've used for over a year which I never really liked to begin with. This pillow has given me the best sleep of my life. The only complaint I have is that there is a really strong smell of whatever the material is inside the pillow but after about a day it went away or maybe I just got used to it. Overall 10/10. I recommend this pillow to anyone who listens to me talk about it!!! If you're on the fence about it, get it!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pillow! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purple Innovation, LLC sent me this free FreeForm Pillow sample through the BzzAgent sampling program. Many thanks to Purple for the sample - my whole family had a lot of fun trying this great pillow out. When it comes to sampling new items, I find the best thing to do is to let everyone in the house try it out and get individual feedback from everyone. Considering this item is a pillow, we needed to pass it around to everyone for a few nights at a time so that everyone could really sample the pillow properly. After gathering feedback, we collectively give this pillow a huge thumbs up. The pillow comes absolutely packed with the "purple stuffing" which is great because the pillow is easily customizable to your preference. Some like the pillow very large, but others like a flatter pillow and you can easily take out some of the "purple stuffing" and customize to your comfort and fit. It was really easy to do and they even give you an extra case to store the extra stuffing in. I highly recommend this pillow to anyone that's in the market for new pillows. Everyone in my family agrees!

I like the honeycomb pattern inside the pillow, which gives it a nice texture. However, the pillow was too soft for me, and I didn't even remove any stuffing. The stuffing itself either needs to be more firm, or it needs more stuffing, not sure which.

Especially after reading the instructions that came with my pillow. I really liked the idea of that you can adjust this pillow to suit depending on whether you like your pillow full, med, or light. This pillow also comes with a built in neck support that you can fill separately. The first night I left the pillow alone (no adjustments). I woke with neck pain that lasted all day. The second night I took out the recommended one bag of filling for med. Again woke with neck pain. The third night I took out another bag of fill per the instructions for a light pillow. Same thing again had neck pain. Forth night I adjusted the neck support and took some fill out. Neck pain again. Every night I used this pillow I woke up with neck pain that lasted all day. I used for as long as I could which was about 1 week. I think this pillow was good in theory. I honestly did not enjoy having to take out the filling. The little flap of fabric that is inside that is intended to keep filling from escaping while zipping up ended up getting in the way. I did enjoy the cover which had a honeycomb shaped padding of sorts attached. Did not enjoy the neck pain everyday. Would not recommend even though I wanted to. I received this Purple Freeform pillow for free in exchange for my review which, i hope you can tell, is unbiased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from went from daily neck pain to deep sleep This is the best pillow ever. I've tried dozens. DOZENS. I had used the Purple Harmony for 3 years nightly and after a while I was starting to get morning neck cramps again. I love how this pillow can be customized with additional fill so as the existing fill flattens out over time, you can just add more. It comes with plenty and I removed a lot. The small pillowcase it comes with to store the stuffing is very full. So I anticipate being able to use this pillow for a few years longer than my last. Thank you! What a great solution to a big problem that a lot of people have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I've been looking for! First, very appreciative of Purple's customer support team- they're prompt and very helpful. I ordered two pillows, which got held up due to an unexpected backorder. Though they couldn't get anything sent out any faster, they were very forthcoming with information. I'm a petite person with a connective tissue disorder, causing instability in my spine and joints and a lot of pain. Most pillows are either way too soft or way too firm for me, or they'll work when I'm on my side but not on my back. My partner is a lifter who snores, primarily a stomach sleeper but needs his pillow to support for side and back sleeping as well. The Freeform pillow works for both of us! The combination of neck roll and hex grid are supportive without being so firm my spine is being pushed out of alignment- while also keeping my partner's pillow from flattening out and losing support when he's sleeping on his stomach. They don't seem to retain a lot of heat but we'll see how they do in the summer. Very very happy :) The lumbar pillowcase for the unused filling is also a nice extra!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly light pillow I bought a Purple Pillow back in 2018 when there was only one pillow style (that I am aware of) and its the waffle type- very heavy, not really squishable, best for a between-the-knees pillow for side sleeping or an At-Your-Back Pillow. I went to the web site to order another one to give it another try and saw this adjustable filling pillow- Its pretty good! Being able to add or take away several hand-fulls of stuffing it great, there is a zipper for this and also they give you a zippered stuffing holder to keep the stuff in just in case you change your sleeping habits. The price is a bit much but you buy what works!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nicely Constructed But Wasn't for Me This pillow was well made and as advertised. It has the adjustable fill and I tried various levels but it still wasn't right for me. I am a twisted-stomach sleeper with my arm under the pillow. I think it was just too much pillow for me. It is very heavy as well, which might sound strange to consider, but I didn't like that about it. Try it for yourself, return and refund were easy - Purple is a good company!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the pillow for me In addition to being very, very expensive, this pillow is so heavy that I feel like I can't move it around at night without worrying that I might hit my partner and knock them out. It is much more awkward to sleep with than it was just trying it out at the store. I have not slept well a single night since purchasing and using it and have tried multiple levels of stuffing with no improvement. This item is definitely being returned.

I buy one and use it for a couples weeks or 6 months to a year and decide I hate it. I am a very small person, huge side sleeper with history of migraines and neck/shoulder pain. I was hesitant to spend 200$ on a pillow but went into the purple show room to try out the different options. I love the customizability of the Freeform, the neck chambers and the different height options. It took me a few days to find the perfect fill amount but once I did, I love this thing. It's only been a few weeks but I actually get excited to go to sleep at night and use the pillow. I've been recommending it to everyone. Definitely worth the price for a good nights sleep. We'll see if I still love it in a year but so far so good!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total let down After my purple harmony pillow lost its support and started causing me neck pain, I pulled the trigger hoping this pillow would be the one. I have had nothing but issues after continuously removing the stuffing, to adjust it. Neck pain, shoulder pain and back pain. I have never had this much pain caused by a pillow. I love the concept but just wish it worked for me.
