Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stools!! We just LOVE these stools. They were everything we had hoped and easy to assemble. Quality product and sturdy. Helpful tip to future buyers, attached the ring to the legs before you tighten the legs to the seat. We tightend the legs first and the ring didn't fit. Nothing in the instructions to warn of this step. There is a video online but it should be in the enclosed instructions. Once we figurde that out, went together quickly. Worth the purchase!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed. So we bought 5 of these, which was not cheap. We haven’t even had them a year and the leather on 2 of them is ripping on the side. We are so disappointed because we love the chairs and they match our kitchen so well but for whatever reason the buttons on the side came off 2 and then the leather rips. Super disappointing and I’ve tried getting ahold of people as we haven’t even had them a year but can’t get ahold of anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Valebeck Counter Height Bar Stool The chairs are very heavy and looks great with my kitchen island. The only downfall is that the legs were not even and the stools get wobly because of the uneventful. I really like the black and white contrast and the studs around the seat brings out the elegance of the stools. Key point when assembling, do not tighten the legs till you install the black ring around them. Otherwise the holes will not align.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wobble Wobble Bar stool These are not built well. Yet they are expensive. Have only had them a year 6 months was in storage. They were wobbling and wife asked me to tighten them up. By the bolt picture you can tell that lock tight was put on each bolt. So they knew they had a problem at the manufacturer. Along with that the wood brackets won't bolt up tight as there is a gap from brace being improper length.

While not hard to put together, the online video from Ashley had different instructions than what came in the box. Would have loved a QR code on the instructions to get to the video as they had a tip for leveling where as the last step of the instructionsjust said to level them but not how..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good looking counter stools. The stools arrived on time, we’re fairly easy for my husband and I to put together and good quality for the price. They look great and visitors have comment how well they look with our granite counters. The only complaint is that the backs are a little rough and can catch on fabric. This can be remedied by a light sweep of fine grade sandpaper. So glad we found these on line.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love them but.. Overall we like these barstools & they work great in our space. However, they are extremely top heavy! And we have the counter height barstools! They have fallen over on our hardwood floors more times than I care to count. One time in particular, I had a light cardigan draped over the back and it fell like a ton of bricks when one of my kids grazed it. Seriously?! Not ideal.

The wood part of the chairs I received are more of an ashy tone and the wood quality is rougher and not as smooth. The chairs also smell heavily of the glue - not a great smell, so needs airing out. Quality seems to have gone downhill. All parts labeled and easy to assemble.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stool review The stools are a lot more cheaply made than the stools that they replaced which we had for around 20 years. I particularly think that the padding on the stool is not adequate and they are very stiff to turn when you’re sitting on them. If I had known this I would’ve just recovered the old stools instead of buying the new ones. I would not recommend the stools.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty but safety is an issue. We have had some tipping/safety issues with them. For some reason they seem top heavy. My 5 year old tipped it over by only twisting in the seat. We thought it was an isolated incident, but then it happened to my teenage and also myself. A little frustrated that we have spent so much money on these to have safety issues. They do look nice in the space

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfy and Worth it! The chairs are comfortable and easy to assemble. Be careful as we had a number of pieces that gave me slivers. I ended up taking a soft cloth and gently wiped each seat back to identify the loose “wood”. Then removed the few I found and used a marker to color in the missing chard. All in all would highly recommend, especially for the price!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful chairs These are great stools. I looked for months before finding the perfect ones and I am glad I waited. They have held up against four kids jumping and swiveling on them. The only reason for the four stars is because the wood was not sealed very well and a few people ended up with splinters. I had to go over the backs with a coat of polyurethane.

Needed to be sanded and sealed for a smoother, splinter free surface. Also one stool had an inch wood splinter /check protruding from the edge of the chair. Chair was solid and good overall but needs a higher quality finished surface.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase I'm very pleased with my bar stools! They weren't too difficult to assemble and they're very sturdy. I like that the seats swivel but then stay put. No swinging back and bumping things! The screws that hold the backrest to the stool have needed tightening a couple of times on one of the bar stools. It hasn't been a big issue though.

Make sure to check the height between counter height or bar height, by just sight I would have bought the wrong ones (saw them in person at the store). I ended up ordering online and they arrived before expected! These are perfect for a counter at my apartment. Highly recommend!

We really had to force the metal ring. A leg on one of the chairs is slightly shorter than the other. I can fix this with a furniture pad. Overall really love the look and quality.

Ashley is making me pay yo ship each one back to their warehouse local store wont take the return because it was online purchase dont waste your money or effort

One hole slightly misaligned and will have to get screw hole adjusted. Otherwise not difficult to assemble, but definitely takes two people. Comfortable for those who want a back to a counter bar stool.

I thought they would be smoother than they are. I did not except to get a sliver from them nor for a shirt to get a snag. I guess I will be taking some sandpaper to them and then lacquering them.

I have to retighten the legs at least once a week or they sway back and forth and feel like their going to break. This is very upsetting considering how much I paid for these. Their beautiful but not worth the frustration.

They will snag clothes and even maybe a splinter? I will have to try and sand and apply another sealer? Not what I wanted to have to do!

Held up for a good while then started to peel. That was my reason for choosing the fabric now. Wouldn’t purchase again. Or recommend.

They are very heavy, nice solid feel when you sit in them. The linen cushion is a nice stinking contrast. 2 of my friends have purchased them in other colors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Those foot rests though Level chair legs before tightening the fasteners. Use thread lock on all your fasteners as well, they will come loose often. Cushions flattens quickly. Foot rest protrudes farther than the legs and will contact sides of counters and leaves dark marks, so be careful pushing them in.

Assembly can be a bit tricky with the metal foot rest. The metal trim compliments the wood very nicely and the seat cushions are very comfortable.

Although the assembly instructions were relatively easy the metal footrest on all 5 of stools was too large. Unfortunately, I'm having to return all the stools that I ordered. :(

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking barstool. Very nice barstool, but get chair tips as the legs are not finished. Luckily we caught it in time before our floors were scratched too badly. We were able to special order square chair tips from California. Also, they are very heavy barstools with a narrow base so a little tippy.
