Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed We are very disappointed with our Skempton table and chairs. 4 of the six chairs wobbled due to the fact that the legs were uneven. They came to fix it but simply put spacers under and that still shows an obvious difference in the leg length. Since that time we have noticed splits in wood. The set is certainly not the quality we thought we were getting.

Please note that the color is listed as brown, but it is actually a very dark brown with a black tint, more like coffee. It is darker than my other furniture I was hoping to match it with. I separately purchased a clear table top protector for every day use.

Chairs and table fit together solidly, no wobble. A very reasonably priced set that we use in the dining area of the kitchen. The grayish-white distressed finish makes the room look bright. The cushions are not as soft as we'd like, but far better than a solid wood seat. All in all, couldn't be more pleased.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It looks nice but having the opportunity to assemble the product I found the wood to be of unknown origin and dried out. Pre drilled holes were messy. Not that it did not fit correctly but I had to clean out almost half of holes due to remaining chunks of wood due to incomplete drilling. You do not receive and extra hardware, so if you lose or are shorted a screw, bolt, washer etc… you will need to contact someone and order or supply your own as I had to with a washer. Be very careful when screwing padded chair seat on the chair frame because whatever you’re screwing into (which felt like peg board) has a tendency to strip… and yes I screwed them in by hand and not a screw gun.
