Rated 3 out of 5 by from Firm sofa, better if reclining We've had this and the power recliner for almost a year now. You should know that this is not a soft, plush sofa. It is firm. It's fairly comfortable if reclining though. It's not that comfortable for me to just sit in because I am short 5'1", but I'm comfortable with at least the foot raised. I also like that I can adjust the headrest forward. My husband is taller (over 6') so he is more comfortable in it even if not reclining. However, again, this is firm furniture. The fabric is durable and wipes off easily which is nice as we have this in the sitting area off of our kitchen. I'm not crazy about the color. We got the Sand color but it's a bit dull and more like a wet sand color. So overall the set is just ok. I would like it more if the color wasn't so dull and if it was softer to sit in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pet tested, owner approved! We have two big dogs, a yellow lab and golden retriever that are both under 3 years old. When we bought this set 18 months ago we said we would certainly put it to the test with those two. I am here to say this furniture is 100% the BEST furniture we have had as far as holding up to the wear and tear from our dogs. They jump on it, wrestle on it, sleep on it, and it still looks brand new. We wipe it down weekly, sometimes even more often in the rainy/muddy weather. It is so easy to clean, the fur doesn't stick, their nails don't damage the fabric at all (which was a huge problem with the microfiber/faux leather furniture). For us humans, the furniture is stylish and comfortable. We love the power recliners, which are strong and support those 85 lb dogs when they want to climb up and lay in our laps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I received this sofa a week ago 11/2/22, DO NOT BUY!!!!! It’s like sitting on Concrete!!! The gravity elimination aspect is great BUT it does not alleviate pressure on bony prominences. I’ve had firm sofas before that still were not this hard. Laying on it is very uncomfortable too because it’s like laying on the floor. There’s maybe only 10% give in the cushion when sitting or laying. While the firmness May last a long time it won’t be because it’s loved that’s for sure.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Concrete slab. Beautiful, well made….but absolutely the most uncomfortable furniture I’ve ever sat on. This 3 piece set is in my den. It will never be worn out. I will sit in the living room. It’s that bad. It’s like sitting on a concrete slab. The in store model was wonderful. I would have never made this purchase had the model felt like this. I hope it will soften but it will take years and that’s if someone else sits on it. You’ll find me in the living room.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hard seats. Like others stated the couch is nothing like the one in the showroom. That one was soft and comfortable. The ones we have are super hard and not so comfortable. Hopefully they soften but I can’t imagine that will happen anytime soon. They are very expensive to be as uncomfortable as they are and we are definitely not happy with how different they were from the showroom ones. Expensive mistake. We can’t recommend them unless you like rock hard couches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Since it was delivered I have not moved. From lying in it. It’s the most comfortable thing I’ve ever been in. As soon as I tried it in the store I knew I had to have it. I’m not usually like that. But this is super comfortable I have leg issues and does zero gravity really makes my circulation happy. We bought the warranty just in case the motor parts or the stuffing or something gets stained goes wrong. Just for the peace of mind. I’m so comfortable!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So uncomfortable We just bought two of these, and I wanted to love them but they are so uncomfortable I can barely sit on them. My husband (6’ ) is very comfortable. It could be my height (5’3”) but the seat and back is so firm, it hurts my back. They seem very well made and we bought them because we wanted dual recliners but I regret the purchase. I can only hope they soften over time, but I will still be short and they might always hit me in the wrong place.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hard as a rock This sofa is hard as a rock to sit on. Not at all comfy like the one in your showroom. To represent your product and not screw your customers (like us), you need to have this model in your showroom in brand new condition. If this sofa had been properly represented in your San Marcos, CA, we would not have purchased it….and you wouldn’t have wanted to lose a customer, so that’s why the sofa is misrepresented in your showroom

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I went with my wife to the showroom (Ashley Home Store, Dulles Eastern Plaza, Sterling Va), to buy this sofa. It looked wonderful, the color, the design, the quality, etc. That were soft and confortable. But the sofa was delivered, is very uncomfortable, the sitting feels like you are sitting on a concrete piece. It's totally different that the store. We are not satisfied with this purchase, because this sofa is not cheap.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Floor model was different I love the way it looks and it seems well made however it’s not comfortable to sit in. I agree with another’s review it’s like sitting on a concrete slab. We’ve had it for several days and my back is sore and my feet tingle when I’m sitting in it. The floor model was not like this. I’m trying to decide if we should return it and pay a restocking fee or keep it and hope it softens over time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Couch I love this couch. I'm tall so I like the high back and how it sits. I love how wide the seats are so my child can sit right beside me like she wants to. The material is fantastic. It's soft, any spilled liquid just beads up instead of soaks in, and it doesn't scratch. All pros, especially when you have kids and pets. I honestly can't think of anything I don't like about it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So uncomfortale it hurts I could literally cry. It's so uncomfortable it hurts. Can't just sit on it. Feels like concrete, feet don't touch (I'm 5'9") and back angle is just wrong. Hard to recline when you have company or little ones around. Still can't get comfy when reclining. Wen t back to store to see if one at store is different and it is way different. We were told it will break in.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Na I bought this on line. Without seeing in person so I didn't sit on it! I love the look of this sofa! It's not comfortable for me at all. Still and the arm rest are to low and the seat depth is deep so it's perfect for a tall person. I have had it just at a year now! I would like to sale or return or exchange for something different!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 Seat Reclining Sofa I love this sofa so much I purchased two of them. I knew from the beginning that it would start out being stiffer than a normal sofa. The recline mechanisms work smoothly and quiet. I love the zero gravity option. The only thing I don't like about it is that every time I'm on it in a reclined position....I fall asleep. :-)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Set received is Hard Cushions I’m not happy with this purchase. The sofas are wonderful, but the seating feels like you’re sitting on a concrete wall very uncomfortable, not like the ones at the store that were soft. I gave it three star for appearance, and one star for the seating. I’ve only had them for a week, and I’m ready to take them back

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed in the couch Love the couch , material . Had l year and 1/2 both seats sinking corner near armrest feels like the foam needs replacing. Had ext insurance which they say they don’t cover that’s normal wear and tear. Couch in perfect condition otherwise, quite disappointed for the money spent on this plus insurance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect Pros : The couch is great. It's so comfortable. Our dogs have plenty of room to lay with us. Very durable with dogs jumping and walking on it. This will out last leather. Cons : The couch had a very strong smell when we first got it delivered. It took a few weeks to get it to a tolerable level.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I wish I had read the reviews that other people had written about this sofa prior to purchasing it. We have had it for two weeks, and it is miserably hard to sit on. Today my husband went to the store to compare the identical sofa with ours. That sofa obviously has a much higher quality foam.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I was expecting I went to the store to see this set, it was comfortable and roomy, I love the color. Unfortunately when it arrived, it's hard as a rock. I still love the color but I'm going back to the store to ask why the showroom model is so different then what I received. Hope they can correct the issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful, still, and hard Just received our couches yesterday. They are absolutely the most uncomfortable couches I have ever sat in. They are hard as a rock. I have no idea why the store is selling something like this. I'm calling the store tomorrow. I'll update my post after I find out what they will do

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not comfortable This is the hardest couch I have ever owned. We have owned it for almost a year and it still doesn’t sit well. In fact, it kills my back. I have never written a bad review on anything so don’t classify me as that person. It’s truly an uncomfortable couch and now I’m stuck with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice sofa Overall it's a nice piece of furniture. The power head rests aren't as comfortable as I had hoped and as a result I don't use them much, thus the 4 star rating. Color is nice. Couch is firm and comfortable. Size is perfect for my smaller room yet can fit 3 people comfortably.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it, it's super comfortable. It's soft, again it's soft and nothing hard. Material is impressive durable, easy to clean and it doesn't bother me in hot weather. Feel fresh and again comfortable. 0 gravity works excellent and also the waterproof material is great!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Sofas They are very nice and of good quality. If I would change something would be for them to be a bit less bulky and the reclining controls are a bit forward; I would put them back a couple of inches, you have to sit up from the reclining position to reach the controls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 0-Gravity is amazing and durapella is kid proof Honestly, we searched for months and months, before settling on this set. Originally, I was wanting home theater recliners with all the bells and whistles. My spot, is the right side of the loveseat so, that was my reasoning for focusing on cupholders etc. Until I experienced Zero gravity seating, we were blown away. It was settled right then and there. The durapella material is unique and we believe it will last a long long time. Assembly was simple and no tools required. Its the perfect middle of the road, between leather and fabric, its durapella. LOL Having a headrest recline forward toward your neck, makes all the difference in the world. It will recline so far back, that your phone will sit flat on your chest bone. Go to sleep, it won't slide off with gravity. The only change we would make, is putting the controls on the inside of the seating, than on the outside. It just feels, as its a bit of a reach, when you are reclined all the way back. However, we wouldn't change a thing. Oh, the stitching is thick and super high quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I hate this couch. Incredibly firm. It is so uncomfortable to lay across because the cushion is raised on both seats. I am 5'7 and when I sit down my feet don't touch the floor. The armrests are also too low so are basically useless and we have to put pillows under our arms instead. When reclined it is nearly impossible to reach the controls on the side so it's hard to sit up or adjust. It's not a couch to sit down casually. You gotta have everything you need in reach before you sit down because it's a whole process getting up again. You cannot get out of this thing easily, you can't control the recline and footrest separately so if you want your feet up expect to be laid back too, as the higher the foot rest goes the lower the back rest goes. Fortunately the neck rest is adjustable otherwise it would be impossible to watch tv while reclined. The only thing I like about this couch is the material. It is water resistant like leather so water just beads up and can be wiped dry. It doesn't collect hair like fabric does and it pretty impenetrable so it's great for kids and dogs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this living room set My husband and I absolutely love this set. I purchased the sofa and loveseat. Very comfortable we don’t sleep across it as no need to. It is higher than expected but it doesn’t bother either of us. Definitely would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 100% best we've ever owned. We love everything about our sofa and loveseat. The fabric, the firmness, the recliner positions and build quality makes for a great stylish looking set. If you don't mind waiting 6 months to get it go for it.
