Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This is a very well-built adjustable base. It has many different adjustments using its remote control. My favorite is the zero gravity position. It's so comfortable, it feels as though you're floating. It also has massage features and automatic floor lights. No need to fumble around for light switches when getting up in a darkened room! Wish I would've purchased years ago! Highly recommend this outstanding Purple product!

When my wife and I looked into upgrading to a Purple mattress after almost 20 years on our former mattress, we tried it out with this Premium Smart Base at the store. Right away, we knew that we had to get them together to maximize the full Purple bed experience. Being able to turn the bed into a seat, recliner, or lounger is a game changer. I've never had that option and now that we do, it's nice and I can't go back. It gives me another comfortable place in the house to sit and lounge. We've also watched movies projected on our bedroom wall while sitting up on our bed. It was easy to put together and simple to operate. The only complaint I have is that it shifts our heating mattress cover a bit and the whole mattress moves forward some. So when I make it go back flat, there's more space between the top of the mattress and the headboard. I just adjust it back by lifting up the foot of the mattress all the way and then making it go flat again. Other than that, it's been a great upgrade. We put a bed skirt around it to make it look nicer and there's a lot of space to put stuff under the bed. We love our Purple bed set (RestorePlus Hybrid + Premium Smart Base)!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfy but not Durable Absolutely love this for comfort- it's so nice to adjust the base to my liking. I'm so sad to say, though, that the base is not very durable. We have had our base for less than two years and have already had to get it entirely replaced- and our replacement has partially broken. It is worth noting that we aren't hard on our bed, and we've taken good care of it, especially knowing that the base is mechanical. We would not have paid the money if we knew that we would have to get the base replaced frequently- and have to put the replacements together ourselves.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They don't work with Purple headboard I got these brackets because I was told they worked with the purple headboard but after I got the headboard I quickly found out that was not the case. I had to return that headboard and get a different one and they didn't really work very will with that one either. I ended up having to zip-tie the headboard to the brackets just as a last resort. I definitely don't recommend them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smart base needs to support and fit the mattress I really like having the vibration for both head and feet. I wish the lower half hip to feet had a stronger vibration or as strong as the one for the head. Also, since I bought the ULTIMATE rejuvenate in a queen, it's 260 lbs of mattress ( it's fantastic) but when you raise the bed, the bed slides down and it's only held up by a 19 inch metal bar. They need to elongate the bar and give that mattress ( ALOT) more support at the foot of the bed and a " push back" to its original spot on the smart base. When it's lowered down. The smart base just doesn't do the job it should be doing, the mattress is just too heavy for this base. There's no other option but I love the mattress so I need to recommend this base until another one is constructed to hold the mattress. Better.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Built to Last The design lends itself to the middle legs bending inwards or outwards leading to long-term durability concerns. When it works, it works well, but I can't recommend it with this issue in mind. You should also be wary of tight fitting sheets restricting the movement of the mattress when using the smart base.

The one I received the one without massage. I think that if item was ordered by mistake Purple should exchange base just like the mattress. I am not happy I can't exchange it for the smart base with massage. I thought that was what I ordered. I need the massage for health reasons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Luxe Rejuvenate Mattress & Premium Smart Base - King So, we purchased our Purple bed after many years owning a Sleep Number bed and I must say I was a bit reluctant to change. However, I have to say that the Purple bed has exceeded my expectations. The first few nights of sleeping on the new Purple bed were not impressive. It was much firmer than our old Sleep Number, so I tossed and turned a bit trying to adjust to the difference. Right around the end of the first week I went to bed and spelt for about 8 hours, and it felt like I was only in bed for 30 minutes. No middle of the night repositioning, no waking up with tingles in my arm, no tossing and turning - just deep restful sleep. It has been blissful for the both of us ever since. We have the adjustable base, so it took a few days to determine what setting worked for both of us. We got rid of the many pillows and settled on 2 each and it is perfect. Even 5-6 hours of sleep leaves me feeling rested and refreshed. No more shoulder pains or lower back pains. Knowing the importance and health benefits of good sleep, my wife and I both agree that it is well worth the cost, and we are so happy with our purchase. The only small issue we've experienced is that the lighting package under the bed that illuminates when you step out of bed at night may not have been installed properly because only her side of the bed lights up. On my side there is no lighting. Other than that, no issues.

The Purple premium plus smart base has many adjustable settings to easily adjust our mattress to the perfect comfort level. And the light sensor is great when awaking in the middle of the night to use the bathroom so you don't have to turn the light on. The premium plus smart base itself lights up enough to light the way for you! Excellent feature! Also it's nice to raise the base at the head and foot when changing bed sheets! Makes it super easy with out having to bend down as much. The Purple premium plus smart base is an absolute must have!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn't know I could use an adjustable base as a side sleeper I had no idea that I could be so comfortable as a side sleeper in an adjustable bed! My husband is mostly a back sleeper, and he loves it too. In the morning, before we get out of bed, I announce that I'm "gonna make it flat" and he always groans, haha. The zero-gravity option is amazing when I've spent too many hours on my feet, and the massage function is very nice too. We are also bigger fans of the under-bed lighting that I would have imagined, but it's lovely. My only complaint is that the motor is a little loud, so when he starts snoring and I want to elevate the head a bit, I worry I'll just wake him up. My only regret is that we didn't buy this sooner! The base, the mattress, and the sheets make for the MOST AMAZING night's sleep!

The motion sensor under bed lighting is a cool feature and the timed massage helps get to sleep quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We love our Purple Adjustable Bedframe We absolutely love our adjustable purple bedframe. I personally loved it, at the end of pregnancy, and also during breast-feeding. It was so nice to have back support with the click of a button. I also had surgery and it was so nice to be able to sit up, and also elevate my legs. My son also broke his leg, and it was so nice to put him in our bed and elevate his leg when he needed it. I highly suggest this purple adjustable bedframe, it is very supportive and it fits in most bed frames. This was a great purchase!
