We had switched to a Sleep Number bed for the adjustable base as I have many injuries and the adjustable base helped me sleep a bit better but I missed the Purple Matrix comfort. It then dawned on me that a Twin XL is the same size as half a split king so I ordered a Purple Twin XL. Of course, I ordered the wrong mattress and wasn't happy. I called Purple and explained I wanted the better mattress with springs and would gladly pay for the upgrade. Purple sent me the mattress I wanted and picked up the one I had mis-ordered. No hassle friendly service. As I stated, this is my fourth Purple. The comfort for me is second to none and that, coupled with an adjustable base made my ideal bed. Plus the customer service and guarantee are also top notch and second to none. If you are thinking of trying a purple, stop thinking and order it. If my experience is any indication you will be happy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Our replacement mattress came deformed Our first matress only lasted 2 years before sinking too much so they replaced it with this mattress and it came deformed and is actually worse. The foot of the bed looks like its still rolled up and never settled

Then your return service took almost two weeks and 'promised' pu several times before it got picked up today This has used up half of the 30 days I have to try the new mattress as I couldn't unwrap the it until the old one had been picked up mattress os satisfactory but your service is lousy

I tried one medium firm mattress and this firm mattress and wasn't able to find a mattress that worked for me. Also, scheduling the return was a massive headache. Took multiple weeks to get the company to schedule a time to pickup, would not recommend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wouldn't buy again - 101 days in I was replacing an old mattress that left me in pain. I have a purple pillow and I love it. I ordered this mattress after taking the quiz, and chatting with a purple expert. I've been sleeping on it for about 100 nights, and feel like I'm paying for a mattress that will deteriorate. I often have to switch sides to alleviate the pain in my hips. I don't know if the purple grid is losing its structure or what, but I kind of wish I could still return this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I will not recommend a purple I will not recommend a purple to anyone purples leave an outlining of your body and they are hard on your back if you have back issues when I was sold my purple, I told them that I am a restless sleeper. I've already had to have my warranty replaced within a year and a half. Now I will sleep on my warranty mattress until I can afford to buy myself a new mattress not happy customer

We have had it for almost a year now and I wake up every single morning in pain. I sleep on my side and my shoulders hurt so bad the rest of the day. It's very hard, and of course by the time my body was used to it I could no longer return it. So now i'm stuck with a mattress that is extremely uncomfortable and expensive.

It's too soft and you can feel the waffle too much. I literally have not had a good night's sleep since I got it. I'm currently waiting on an exchange for the firm one ...it's been 5 days and it still hasn't shipped.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Purple Pluses and Minuses So, i jumped on the Purple bandwagon. I have shoulder and back issues and despise memory foam because it traps heat and you can't reposition well on it. Purple Restore solved these issues... but over time revealed different concerns. First off- I've tried both the firm and the soft versions. The firm was great for my back and hips ... not so great for my shoulders. The soft was just the opposite. The conclusion I've come to is that Purple should consider a zoned support system with the coils... more support in the lumbar area and the soft version would be near perfect.. for me at least. Secondarily, the edge support on these beds really isn't that great.. and given the extra bouncey feel of the gel grid.. this is further amplified every time you get in and out of bed.

I still toss but not as much so it does relieve pressure for heavy sleepers. I don't get uncomfortable as quickly as I did on a traditional mattress. One unexpected GREAT thing was the edge support. I like to sit on the edges of the mattress for long periods of time. I was worried about how I would flip the mattress considering it is so heavy. However, I have noticed that it does not easily dip on the sides where I sit. If I do have to flip it, it will be a long time coming. It still feels as sturdy as when I first got it. With a traditional mattress, I can feel a difference in a matter of a few months.

I remember I had gone to try this mattress back in Dec of 2019 and ended up falling asleep for 15 minutes at the store hahah Well, I hadn't stopped thinking about the mattress since. I was waiting until I saved enough money to purchased after having the world worst mattress. I'm so happy and sleeping wonderfully. I will say it took me a full week to get a good nights rest after my new mattress arrived but set up and delivery was great. I live alone and the mattress is incredibly heavy and I needed to ask a neighbor to help me get it up the stairs, so definitely have help. ENJOY!
