Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back pain is gone We'd been experiencing significant sag in our 5 year old spring mattress and first replaced with a hybrid purchased online. I've had back pain for months and it just got worse with the new mattress. I thought the pain might be more than a mattress alone could fix, but still decided to return it and replace with the more expensive Tempurpedic Hybrid. My back pain was gone within 2 days and has not returned. I didn't know that was possible and I'm now officially a Tempurpedic convert. The mattress did at first feel quite a bit firmer than the store one we laid on, but it has softened up a lot in the first few weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wanted more firm mattress We ordered the medium hybrid Adapt mattresses based on trying them at a store. After a month we realized for sure that we were used to and wanted a more firm mattress. The exchange process has been a challenge. Through the whole order process and exchange process we were twice charged the wrong amount. The first time has been corrected but not yet the second time. The mattresses themselves are comfortable just not firm enough for us. We had been sleeping on an original Tempur-Pedic mattress that is 14 years old and still good. The folks have been courteous and friendly. Just the process and the charging system needs work so the correct amount goes through the first time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not hold up as well as cheeper product I've owned my Adapt for a little less than 3 years. It is currently sitting on a support system rated to hold up under 500 pounds on each side. The mattress has gone nearly flat under weight in the mid section creating a lot of back pain for both my wife and I. We put in for a warranty claim and were turned down because we didn't have their base under it. The mattress was great while it lasted (a year before I started having issues and 2 and a half years for my wife), however, for the increased price of the mattress plus the support system required for it to not fall apart is too high in comparison to cheaper mattresses that are just as comfortable and last longer without the additional cost of a high tech support system.

This is no doubt the best mattress I have owned, and best sleep I have experienced. I used a sleep tracker to assess my sleep patterns for a few months before the purchase. I realized I was not getting much deep sleep, and spent a lot of time tossing and turning. The differences were immediately realized. I consistently sleep better now, deeper and longer. I am a side sleeper; the adjustable frame has made a major difference as I don't need so many pillows anymore, just one. Well worth the investment!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Mattress Ever! We researched a lot of mattresses. Several people recommended Tempur-Pedic. I was a little reluctant because of the price but my husband & I decided if we were going to invest in a mattress set, lets make it a good one. Besides, I was paying $25 every time I went to the chiropractor because my hips were killing me on our old mattresses & my husband would wake with his back killing him. The Tempur-Pedic is THE BEST investment we've made! People told us it would take a few nights to get used to it....wrong! Hubby & I fell in love the first night! We do not get hot in the night like we used to, we have tons of room & we wake in the morning feeling rested. We absolutely love it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not my cup of tea...sadly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a tempur pedic mattress for the last 15 years - and I finally got one. I had slept on one while a guest at a relative's house, and I have never had such an amazing and restful night of sleep. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! Unfortunately, it was explained to me that the tempur "adapt" mattress is the "original" tempur pedic mattress. So that was what was ordered for my house. I have had it for over a week, and I keep waking up in pain every morning. I am very disappointed, as it is not at all reminiscent of a traditional tempur pedic product, in my opinion. I am waiting on a team member to get back to me, so I can get a proper replacement. Fingers crossed

My Dr. recommended a Tempur-pedic as I've had back successful surgery in the past. This mattress molds to your body. We bought the 'Medium' after trying it in the store along with trying the 'Soft'. It's been almost 2 months and my opinion is this mattress is still a little stiff. We were told to give it a 'few weeks'. We do believe we chose the right mattress for us. Wish we could have afforded the newer model that's supposed to be 'cooler', as we live in Florida year round.

Inused it for almost 20 years! I spent many weeks trying to figure out which of the new matresses was closest to the feel of my previous one. In the store i was leaning to adapt pro firm, which was $1000 more. Discussed w online costumer support for tempurpedic, who suggested this one. And they were right. Firm, but it feels it hugs you and supports you through the night for an amazing night of sleep! I couldn't be happier!

When they arrived it was set up in tandem and we quickly realized that we both have to rest in the same way together. So we had to unsink them so we each had control of our own side. It is easy to do. We love resting in our bed it is comfortable we love that you can raise the head and your foot and get yourself as comfortable as you want ! Nether of us has woke with back pain! That's a big plus! We bought pillows with bed and love them I have not had the neck pain and headache when I wake up anymore!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Sleep Ever We purchased the king split hybrid adjustable base and now we can finally sleep through the night and wake with NO pressure point pain lower back pain or feeling stiff and tight. We can swing our legs out of bed feeling refresh and not sore all over. The mattress is extremely comfortable. I recommend to anyone who's considering purchasing a new mattress. It has definitely improved our quality of sleep.

I understand the mattress has to be broken in, but after own one, it doesn't feel the same to the one that I tried at the store that I bought it from. I bought the same one that I have tried. When i sleep on my side and wake up I have pain in my right shoulder. If I could do it over, I would rather spend the money on another mattress.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Uncomfortable, makes my back hurt I am bought two mattresses in November for my mom and I. Both mattresses at that time were firm. About a month later I returned mines because it was still really hard and made my whole body hurt. I would get up in the morning and my whole body would be hurting. I have an adjustable base but it didn't matter if I was laying flat out elevated. I got the medium which is OK but I still get up in the morning with back aches. I purchased this bed because it was said to be top of the line, would conform to your body and help to relief body aches this is not the case. I am not satisfied with this product because it did not live up to the hype, and especially the price that I paid for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I purchased the split king Tempur-adapt medium with adjustable base....I found it was a bit too firm for my liking. Called Tempur-pedic and we swapped out for the ProAdapt split King (paid a bit more but worth it)....I chose the 'soft' for my side, my wife chose the 'medium hybrid' for her side. We both love it and the mattresses are equal thicknesses, which was extremely important being a split king. Customer service was awesome during the whole process. Best mattress we've ever owned!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE MY TEMPUR-PEDIC! We have 2 other tempurpedic beds and automatic bases and love them so much, we purchased 2 more for our beach house. We've never loved our beds or mentioned how much we love our beds more (we know it sounds weird)! Our son loves his bed too and the rest and best sleep is all about the beds. We've had many good name brand mattresses but none compare. The support the beds provide with the added plus of adjustable bases is unparelled when it comes to comfort. It's hard to explain how these beds have changed our view of all beds. We will not purchase anything but Tempurpedic beds. And we tell everyone, friends and clients, about them...even if it makes us sound obsessed with our beds!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Took a couple of days But once I adjusted to this mattress, it has been smooth sailing ever since. No more tossing and turning, no more waking up in the middle of the night! I wake up rested and refreshed, and no aching back. The mattress conforms to my body and supports every inch. After five long years of sleeping on a miserable Serta Willowbrook that broke down just after the grace period expired, I'm finally getting the good nights sleep I needed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife has the exact mattress that I ordered and told me I wouldn't regret it if I bought it so even though I was a little skeptical I pulled the trigger. I had a memory foam mattress that was 9 years old so it was time for a new one. I loved it the very first night I slept on it and was cool and comfortable the whole night. Also I got it for three years no interest so it was a win win situation. Thank you Tempurpedic!

She's been struggling with back and hip pain and none of the mattresses designed for hospital beds was helping, and in fact, they were making things worse. We thought we would try a tempur-pedic mattress since we knew it was designed to help with back pain and figured it would work on a hospital bed frame much as it does on an adjustable bed frame. Since day one she's been sleeping better and waking up with less pain. In fact, she now looks forward to taking naps just about any time of the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Size and Comfort ... Didn't know what I was missin The mattress is fantastic. I am extremely pleased we went with the King size and the hybrid. We have had a Temper-Pedic mattress before (not hybrid) so we did not need the coils for a "transition" purposes, however we definitely like the feel and comfort. For anyone, size is limited on space... however with little kids this has been a blessing for us! I am not sure why we endured the Queen for so long! It does still sleep hotter than I would like but definitely cooler than previous models (I have night sweats so this may be user specific). I wish there was a better mattress protector cover for cooling though. We love the mattress ... biggest complaint is trying to put the sheets on :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Mattress Made This mattress has enabled me and my wife to sleep so soundly and comfortably that we rarely wake up unless we need to go to the bathroom. My brother-Law and his wife bought one and invited us over to look at theirs. We lay down on theirs and it was so comfortable and just like laying on layer of clouds with no humps or bumps, just perfectly flat. We were so amazed with the feel of the mattress we went the very next day and purchased one for ourselves! I know we will never regret it. There is nothing that We don't love about our mattress! I just praise the Lord that we were able to afford one so good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Customer Service I have purchased Tempurpedic bed toppers for other beds in my house and they came beautifully packaged, clean and flawless. This time when I purchased a topper it came in poorly repackaged, dingy looking and the cover had a rip in it. It was clearly one that someone had sent back after sleeping on it for 90 days. It was clear that quality control had not looked it over before rewrapping it, and I have no idea whether it was sanitized in any way. I am incredibly disappointed with a company that touts itself as being the absolute best. The product itself is good, but I expected better from Tempurpedic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mattress! This has been the best mattress ever for me! I was having hip and back pain with my old mattress. I was afraid when I got the new mattress that it would take a while for me to get used to it, but I immediately slept better and don't have the hip and back pain I was having! It's very comfortable. At first it feels "soft" as you sink into it but once you get past the memory foam in the top and get to the coils, it feels more firm. It's the perfect combination for me. So far, I haven't found anything I don't love about it except that I have to get up in the morning and go to work and can't stay in bed!

Because I have lower back issues and am a side sleeper with arthritis in my shoulders, hips, I ordered the medium. After sleeping on the mattress for a few months, the mattress is still too hard for me. I do not get pressure point relief.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's just "okay". I got the medium. Soft hurt my back. Got the tilting frame too. I like to be able to raise my head because of heart burn. After 3 weeks, it's just okay. Not life changing. I kinda wish I had got another bed I liked at the same store. My daughter has a tempur and likes hers. So I decided to try one too. It's just not what I was hoping for.

This bad boy is a true rock like feel.. dont worry , itll never lose its firmness! So worth $2000.00 + Decided you don't like to sleep on Patrick's rock? You have up to 90 days to fight and never get a return. Or if your lucky enough to finally get that return, you have to pay for shipping and picking up! Oh tempure pedic , Thankyou for making a 5 Month pregnant woman miserable... All I wanted was decent sleep.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from *BEWARE* Lasted 4 years-disappointing This mattress started out great, however over time a large crack developed in the mattress from on end to the other. The mattress was supported by tempurpedic box springs and had never been abused. I tried to file a warranty claim and tempurpedic denied it saying that the mattress had signs of mistreatment. As a family of 5 with 3 small kids we had one small spill on the mattress, which was cleaned up properly following tempurpedics guidelines. However the warranty for this now unusable mattress was denied and i am going to have to purchase another mattress-definitely not a tempurpedic. Beware.

The Tempur-pedic is by far the best I have tried. I was skeptical at first and didn't really believe a high end mattress would help much with my back pain. Boy was I wrong. I've had this mattress for 5 months now and it has helped my pain substantially, and now that I am pregnant with my second child I am extra thankful for a truly comfortable bed. It conforms to my body relieving my aches and pains, without making me feel like I am sinking. I honestly don't know how I went without a Tempur-pedic all these years. Absolutely worth every penny!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great on the showroom floor but hot and achy after trialing We thought this bed was a great buy and were excited to have it however I soon realized I was getting too warm when I wake up and need to move to a cooler place on the mattress. It was like the heat gets trapped. My husband on the other hand really enjoyed it at first but the longer we have had it, the more achy he has become and frequently has been waking up. We are both side sleepers and we think we need a softer bed also. This hybrid having 1/2 spring facilitates love making better than 100% foam but due to the aches and heat, we are considering a trade in for a traditional spring mattress.
