Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lack of support Moved from a bed in a box to this, as my prior experiences with Tempurpedic was always a great nights sleep. I went with the hybrid as it seemed to imply a bit more support would be gained from the springs. After 3 nights, I was waking up with back pain nearly hourly, having to adjust position (get out of the crater) to fall back asleep. Approximately 1 month out now, it has only gotten worse and I am going to return the mattress. Truly unfortunate, but it was it is. I'm a 5'10 200lb person, so not small, but not huge. My wife is 5'4 130lb, and also is shocked by the prior mattress being more supportive (this was the reason we moved on from it).

With previous mattresses I would toss and turn all night, literally waking up in pain every time I'd roll over. I was dealing with major lower back pain and shoulder pain all day every day. My husband finally let me order this Mattress and I do not regret it at all. From night one I noticed a difference, I was only waking up because of my cat and not back pain. Worth every penny! We have the adjustable base with this as well and will never go back to any other type of mattress. There is seriously nothing to not love, we love everything about this Mattress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for those with spinal issues! I have severe scoliosis and have almost 70% of my spine fused. I've found it IMPOSSIBLE over the years to find a memory foam mattress conforming enough and soft enough for me. I originally had this same mattress in a full size for four years and recently upgraded to a king. This is the ONLY mattress I can sleep comfortably on! It conforms all the ways I need it to, with not too much pressure, but stays firm where I need it to as well. It's like this mattress was made for me! Anyone with strains, from the neck or back having a hard time finding a comfortable spot due to health conditions or overall comfort. This mattress is a life changer!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable mattress I bought a King Size M ADAPT MEDIUM HYBIRD SET, It was delivered on 2-24-19. I've always wanted a Tempur- Pedic Mattress. Even though there quite Expensive, I know it's worth it. But it does take some getting used to, because it's totally different from my old Mattress that I hade for 11 years. How ever it is very Comfortable, and I LOVE, The coolness, as I do SUFFER from HOT FLASHES & NIGHT SWEATS. I wake up with less back pain and body aches. But for some reason I am experiencing neck pain's, I'm not sure if it's the mattress being so soft, or my pillow not being supportive enough. So that's why I gave it 4 stars. I do LOVE THIS MATTRESS SET!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a good nights sleep! I am a Tempur-Pedic fan for sure! I love the feel and comfort of the Adapt mattress, not too soft but not too firm. This is my second Tempur-Pedic mattress purchase. I lost my home in the California Wildfire and in a pinch I purchased another name brand mattress. Needless to say I was never as happy and missed the comfort that I was used to. I decided that I absolutely must purchase another Tempur-Pedic mattress so I can once again enjoy a restful sleep. I also love the quality of the adjustable base and the quality and softness of your Pima Cotton sheets. Thank you Tempur-Pedic for the quality and comfort you provide in your sleep line!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a slippery sucker I bought this to replace a previous Tempurpedic that was 13 years old, and had lost a lot of its resilience. This one performs as well as the older one except in one regard. The cover on this one is much more slippery than my prior one, so much so that it is impossible to keep the bottom sheet tucked under it. With the slightest tension, it slides out. I have resorted to those elastic suspender things to try to hold the edges of the sheet under, but they aren't terribly effective either. Seems to me that things would be much better if the underside of the mattress cover was made out of a material that had a much higher level of friction.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I had hoped for This mattress is not for me. I thought it would be good when I laid on it at the store; but when I slept on it at home it drove me crazy! I like to sleep more towards the edge of the bed but I felt like I was falling off the bed. It felt like I was tipping over. Also the mattress doesn't recover as quickly as spring mattresses do so I felt the indentation when I rolled over. Lastly, I couldn't get warm on the mattress as it was too cold. If I slept with a shirt it would probably be fine but I don't so I'm cold. This mattress might be good for someone who sleeps differently than I do but it's not for me!

Took a couple of nights to get used to the new mattress. This is our second Tempur-Pedic mattress and it has not disappointed us. This mattress keeps you slightly cooler than our old Cloud mattress did, which is great. I haven't overheated once. Also, I am typically a toss and turn kind of sleeper, so this mattress is great for my wife, allowing her to sleep too! However, I do not toss and turn on this mattress even close to what I used to, plus I don't wake up with sore shoulders etc. and I am a side sleeper only.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Mattress! we researched, shopped, went to stores laying on all kinds of mattresses, and landed on the Tempur-Adapt. for us, it was a very good choice. it is somewhat cooling, but not totally which is good for my husband. we both feel like we sleep so much better and deeper. I sleep on my side, and back, and either way is supportive and comfortable. I will be anxious to see how this hold up for us. the weird thing is, and I have not seen this mentioned anywhere, is that the California King sheets fit better than our king size sheets did. we just happen to try a CK that my mother had, and it fit great. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in making this purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great at First When my husband and I first purchased this mattress we were in love. It was wonderful for the first 2 years. Now currently on year 5 and my husband and I both prefer to sleep on the couch. The mattress has become so uncomfortable, my husband will wake up with tingling arms and stiff neck. I wake up with shooting lower back pain. So disappointing after spending so much on this mattress that we truly only got 2 good years before it went down hill. For reference my husband and I are only in our early 30's and otherwise healthy adults, just made the worse decision to buy this expensive mattress.

It is super comfortable and the bed nicely conforms to my shape, making it very supportive. It also is very quiet and doesn't move around almost at all when my spouse moves around at night. It is supposed to help you sleep a little bit cooler but I have found much difference in my sleep temperature. I also like that it's not a super thick mattress and doesn't make my bed super tall. So overall I have really loved this mattress and would recommend this to family and friends! I received this mattress as a free product in exchange for a review.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Back pain and regret We've been experiencing back pain for months of using this mattress and at first I was thinking, we just need to break in the mattress cause it's new even after the 90 days trial I still waited cause I thought I have to wait more till it get better. At first I thought I'm the only one experiencing back pain till my husband one time asked me if I'm experiencing back pain from the mattress cause he does. I regret buying this mattress. My husband even slept on the side of the bed and it's still the same. I'm in my late 20's and my husband in his early 30's both are in normal and healthy weight and we always experience back pain on this mattress. So disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that a bed I had for over a decade still was warrantied by Tempur-Pedic, was the old 20 year prorated warranty. The warranty process was seamless with honestly the best customer service I have seen from any business, ever... Sherrie Dickerson assisted me in upgrading my warranty to a king sized adapt medium, which is just flawless!!! She is a wonderful person!! Sooooo sweet and helpful! Thank you Sherrie! And thank you Tempur-Pedic for being just an awesome company! I will definitely be brand loyal in the future! Keep up the good work!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleep so great! This bed is so comfortable! I've been sleeping on it for about two months now and not once did I wake up with a sore back. It's very supportive. My only negatives: 1) Break in period. The first night I thought for sure this bed would have to go back. It was so hard. Each night got better and after 2-3 weeks it was much softer and like a new bed. 2) It does sleep warm. I'm a warm sleeper anyway so this would be my biggest complaint. I've had to lower my room temp to 60-62F and use a light blanket. Hopefully come summertime this is not a problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tempur-Pedic customer for life I was skeptical if a Tempur-Pedic mattress was really worth the high price tag, but it has been the best night sleep of my life. I have chronic back problems and needed to swap out my mattress in a box and it has been life changing! From night one I woke up feeling so refreshed and no pain! Warning... you won't want to get out of bed! I was worried about the memory foam running hot but Tempur Pedic doesn't run hot as others. I am not a customer FOR LIFE because of this mattress. I am in love. I used to wake up feeling more tired and achy, but not with Tempur-Pedic! It is a little hard at first but takes a little bit to soften up and cradle your pressure points.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My wife likes it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife really likes it and her back pain is gone. I, on the other hand, still have lower back pain. However, it is a huge improvement over the box spring mattress that I had. I think that the nonhybrid would have been better for us because we each weigh less than 200 lbs and it would be softer. If you are going to get this only get the mattress because if you don't like it you can always return it and not incur the extra expense of a non-returnable platform. If you like the mattress you can always get the platform later. Overall, its the best mattress I have owned so far.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice for the first year After about a year. This bed got extremely soft and just starts to sink in. My weight is about 210 and my wife is only about 130 . So I don't think that expensive mattress like this should start to give out this fast . But I have had this mattress for more then 3 years and there are days that I just have to sleep on the floor because. Sleeping on this mattress is crazy painful.

After over 2 months of laying on over 50 mattresses, shopping for the right one, the moment I layed on a Tempurpedic I knew instantly that I must have this matresses. By far, the foam used is better than ANY matresses out there. If you lay on other matresses you will immediately feel the difference. My back problems have disappeared. I am a side sleeper and love this mattress. I also bought the Tempurpedic adjustable base and this tops it off to the best restful sleep I have had in years . You spend 40 hrs a week sleeping, it makes a difference in your quality of life and how you feel the entire day! Thank you Tempurpedic!

I have slept on the Tempur-pedic medium adapt mattress for several weeks and I can honestly say it's been the best couple weeks of sleep. I have the mattress on a platform frame, making the height of the bed perfect. The mattress has a cooling effect that I love. The mattress is firm but extremely comfortable and soft once you lay on it. Another thing I love is that motion from my spouse doesn't affect my sleeping. The mattress does exactly what it says, it "adapts" to each sleeper.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 6 months, that's it ive had this bed just shy of a year on an adjustable base. It's amazing of course. Took some time to get use to the "stuck in mud" feel. But now i wouldn't have it any other way. I really can't dont think it stays cool all night. Just feels cool when you first lay down. A year in i noticed i could feel the springs with my knee when i got into bed. Then i noticed there was a huge 3 foot across T shaped tear in the mattress all the way down to the springs. I never would have expected that to happen in less than a year. They're replacing it but its a hassle, especially during this pandemic. Hopefully this wont happen again.

I was very skeptical about investing this much into a mattress, and a king size at that. But my partner, who is 6'4, convinced me. After just the first night we saw a huge difference. Our schedules are very different so normally when one wakes up the other would by default of the movement...not anymore! We both sleep soundly through the night and fall asleep faster. We also have noticed a significant reduction in neck and shoulder pain since switching to tempur-pedic. We are customers for life!

I had been sleeping on the original Tempur-Pedic set from over 10 years ago. I must say the quality has definitely come up! I have been getting the best rest ever. I love the thickness and layers of comfort. I am a hot sleeper so I can't hold it against the mattress, but it does sleep cooler than my last set. My only complaint would be that it is hard to change my sheets now that I have to mess with a heavier mattress, but I will survive.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Still adjusting so the reason we got this mattress is because my husband and I struggle to find comfort with one mattress. I have been experiencing some pains in my lower back but I am hoping it is due to a new bed. My husband wakes up in the am, after tossing and turning most of the night. His theory is it is too soft and his arms are put to sleep. He is also complaining of knee and elbow pain which he didn't have prior. I really don't know what to do. We did lay on the mattress in a store for quite some time and felt comfortable but I guess it is different once you are fully sleeping on it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Adapt Medium Hybrid Matress The mattress has a odor for up to one month after delivery. I allowed the smell to dissipate for one week prior to sleeping on it. I opened windows and left ceiling fan running with no sheets to help it along. The mattress itself is sturdy and the top cover is really nice and fits tight. I purchased the sheets and they do fit very well on the bed. I am a back sleeper and I find myself waking up in the middle of the night with discomfort. I suspect that a medium is too soft to support the lumbar correctly. I purchased the Hybrid hoping the coils would be more supportive. I am hoping with time, my back will feel better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Sleep I had to replace my old mattress as I could never get comfortable and never slept well through the night. I went to many stores and tried out so many beds. This mattress was by far the most comfortable to me and my aches and pain. I have a bad neck, shoulders, back, and hips. I was worried to spend so much on a bed, but took a leap of faith and I'm so glad I did. I sleep so well despite all my aches and pains because the mattress conforms to me. I definitely thought at first that it was not the right bed for me, but after a week, it seemed to break it and it's been perfect sense! I owe my better sleep to Tempurpedic!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We have had our mattress for 4 weeks. It was rough at first. Mattress was very firm and had to be "broken in" It took 3 weeks but now I'm getting the best sleep! For my husband it only took a few days. I am a side sleeper but this bed feels so good I notice I stay on my back longer than usual. My husband said his back is no longer hurting and he feels refreshed when he wake up. I notice I can get right up and don't feel tired in the morning. This mattress conforms to you but you don't sink in so low that you can't change positions. Edge support is awesome! We got the Ease adjustable base and we will never lay flat again lol We didn't realize what we were missing having an old broke down mattress! So far so good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I feel 20 yrs younger! The first night I slept on the Adapt mattress I woke up with no more body aches. Only slept on it twice so far and it is a little firm, but everyone who has a Tempur-pedic says it will take about a month to break in. I have Tencel sheets and don't sleep any hotter than my old innerspring mattress. I highly recommend getting a power base so you can lay in zero gravity which takes all the pressure off your lower back. As a total side sleeper, I think I could learn to sleep on my back. Raising the back is great for acid reflux or when you just can't get your pillow the right height. Looking forward to the mattress being broken in and will post another review at that time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Still Breaking In I'm still trying to adjust to this mattress. I am a side sleeper. There are some mornings when I get up and think this is a pretty good mattress, other mornings I wonder if I should have made a different selection as I have felt a strong pressure point on my right hip and soreness that lasts a few minutes after I get up, so It seems the mattress could use just a little more cushioning. I haven't noticed this so much when I sleep on my left side. I do have an old injury to my right hip so that could be the problem. I wouldn't say this is a terrible mattress but I wouldn't say that it is a super great mattress either.

Most mattresses would leave me with a sore back in the morning. Also feeling sluggish and slow to start the day. With this mattress I am waking up refreshed, no back pain and feel ready to go. This is by far the best mattress I have ever owned.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Haven't had a good nights sleep since we bought this mattres We purchased the adapt mattress with an ease zero gravity frame and it's been less than a year. We called the retailer for a warranty claim and got the run around through them after a couple months we were told we needed to call the manufacture After more run around I was told it would not be covered buy warranty because to Tempur-Pedic it sounded like a comfortably issue. Pryor to getting this bed neither my wife or me we're having back pain now we get at max 2 hrs of sleep a night with out have to adjust to another position most of the time she goes out on the couch. I have recently had to start going to the a chiropractor to help with the pain. Very poor customer service and poor quality product No stars and will never recommend to anyone. I know I'm wasting my time with this review I'm sure it will never be seen by the public.
