Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable bed It's a very comfortable bed. It took some adjusting. I would wake with sore shoulders but I was warned about the break in period. I now don't wake to sore shoulders. We do have an adjustable base. I get hot sleeping and this bed isn't a cool temperature bed. The dense foam holds heat. We have an upgraded mattress pad that's suppose to help but I still run hot. Keep in mind I live in MN and it was winter when I bought it. My wife even said she gets warm. I think I'm going to buy the mattress protector the sales man said people complained about being too cold. Great mattress but holds heat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recommend 10/10 As a kid, I always fantasized about getting a Tempur-pedic mattress, so once my husband started to complain about his back hurting on out 12 year old mattress, I knew what we needed to do. We went in for the hype of the purple mattress, but when that fell short in our support category, we started trying out the temper-pedic. The pro adapt firm, is FIRM, SO SUPPORTIVE. The first time I laid on it I laughed because it was so stinking hard, but after we crawled around "hands and knees" as directed by our salesman. I can say that this bed feels like it was MADE for me. It is so supportive but is forgiving in all the right spots!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Comfort for a kid! This review is being written by the person sleeping on this mattress...an 8 year old kid! After a long day at school or day of playing with slime (not on the bed of course) this mattress is sooooooo comfortable. I get the perfect nights rest and don't even wake up in the middle of the night. The smell went away after a couple of weeks, my mom told me that it would and it did. This is my 2nd big kid bed after my crib and it's my favorite. Before I had a latex mattress, it was a nice and all but this mattress snuggles me in puts me to sleep FAST! I think all kids should have a comfy mattress like this one, if they are able to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I feel young again I could tell it was different when I laid down on it in the showroom. It is definately FIRM which is what we were looking for. I sleep so much better. My husband is sleeping better! When my husband does move around on his side of the bed it does not disturb me like it did with the other mattresses we have had. I used to wake up sore, achy and tired in the morning and now I wake up feeling great! I also love the cooling technology, I think that is what I noticed in the show room. Every other mattress felt "stuffy" after experiencing the coolness of this mattress. I had to persuade my husband to spend the money for this mattress but we both know it was worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NO more hurting This is my 3rd Tempur-Pedic mattress, as the others tended to be transported into guest rooms for their enjoyment! I have had multiple knee surgeries, sinus, Achilles' tendon issues. I hike over 100 miles per month. I started out with the original mattress about 2006, then switched to a softer one 5 years later after surgery. I moved recently and sold the mattresses, and everyone wants to buy even a used Tempur-Pedic mattress. I bought the Pro-Adapt because of my activity and age (66). Love it. Never disappointed in their mattresses. I advise to go into a store, take an hour and try out the varieties. You won't be disappointed. Invest in yourself and your body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OH MY GOODNESS!! I agree with so many reviewers....I used to be up and down all night with hip, leg and back pain. Now, I find the mattress supports my whole body and it almost magically has made my pain go away. Not only am I sleeping all night pain free but I also wake up pain free for the next day. I am overweight and found that other mattresses just didn't support like this one. Extra expense, yes......but you absolutely get what you pay for in this mattress!! We were told we had 30 days to decide if we liked it and my husband and I both agreed after just three nights that no one was taking this mattress from us. Love, love, love it!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this bed out of necessity and did not get a chance to research it as much as I do with most major purchases. I had heard they were hot to sleep on and it took a long time to break in. I was reluctant to commit. The salesman assured us we would have 100 nights to sleep on it and decide if it was for us. We have loved it since the first night. It is not hot at all to sleep on. We did not have to break it in and we love the adjustable base we added to it. My favorite part is the massage setting. Overall we are very happy with the whole system and would buy it again.

I purchased a twin pro adapt firm mattress from mattress firm and they claimed it was sold to a customer that returned it within a week. After having the mattress for a short while, I realized there was a very soft area compared to all other areas on the mattress. Mattress firm did not resolve the problem as they have pathetic"customer service". I called tempur pedic and spoke with Glenda who works in the escalation department. She looked at pictures and agreed that there is no way that a mattress I purchased in Sept 2023 had a manufactured date in 2021. Glenda also stated to me that she can see why I had this huge problem because she looked at all the pictures I emailed. Tempur pedic also turned their back on me so I'm stuck with an expensive mattress with an area that doesn't support my back and would never recommend this product to anyone!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Still too firm Purchased mattress in 2020 and still too firm. The mattress I tried in the store was not this firm despite being the same model. I have tried everything, including a mattress topper which just made it too hot. After a couple years now, I still can't sleep well, waking up with back, hip, and should pain that I only have after sleeping in the bed. Unless you like a very firm bed, don't bother. I have the soft model and it has never been soft.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable but heats up at warmer nights [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As mentioned in the other reviews, if you want something that is in the medium side, you have to buy the soft version. It will feel a bit firm when new but will eventually break in. With the Tempurpedic protector, I don't fee the cooling properties much. In warm nights, I wake up sweating and had to change my shirt a couple of times in several occurrences. I am not overweight or have health conditions. Just saying. Overall a great purchase. You will appreciate it more when sleeping elsewhere for a couple of days, and coming home to your Tempurpedic! Don't settle for less.

After struggling to sleep through the night for the past few years due to hot flashes and restlessness from hip & back pain, we decided to invest in the Tempur-ProAdapt cooling bed and it was worth it! I have been sleeping through the night for the first time in over a year. No more waking up hot and the Zero G feature has changed our sleep pattern so much, no more tossing and turning or pain in our backs & hips. We wake up each morning amazed at the amount of uninterrupted sleep we are getting! I had almost lost hope on a good nights sleep but I am glad we decided to invest in this bed. Highly recommended!

Then I bought one comfortable bed, I currently have breeze rhapsody bought it at 2012-2013 old artvan , well when I bought It I thought it was comfortable but it kinda was firm.. there policy was awful.. so now I know better just go to temperpedic store.. not the quote official dealers.. Now I can't wait for my bed to get here, I have been having shoulder pain, and the new bed will be so much better.. I recently bought sleep number bed in October, and I am returning them they will be picked up next week.. so uncomfortable.. forever now a tempurpedic girl

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more tossing and turning! I've had my mattress for well over 3 months and it has absolutely changed my life! I'm a light sleeper and used to always wake up in the middle of the night, leaving me to feel like I've had no sleep. I can feel the difference. It took me a few days to get used to a new mattress (because of the firmness) but now, I wouldn't change it for the world! What I love the most is the cooling technology and how it forms to my body to prevent all the toss/turns. I used to think it was normal to wake up feeling sore (back & neck) until I started got this mattress. I genuinely get excited to sleep on my bed after going on vacation haha so yep, I 110% recommend a Tempur-Pedic!

There are many "highly rated" mattresses that only are available online but I was not going to buy "sight unseen". The Flagship store associate added value to my purchase with her clear explanations and patience while I debated which firmness to get and went back and forth between the displays. There was also good followup because I did not purchase during my initial store visit and had additional questions. The "White Glove" delivery and 90 day trial were also important factors in my decision.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always wanted try one Only had it a few weeks and it has big shoes to fill as we switched from a Stearns and Foster hybrid that we loved, but moving up to a king and figured this was our chance to finally try a Tempur. The soft is incredibly firm, I can't imagine anything firmer being comfortable. We both enjoy it and both are able to sleep in positions we never have been able to comfortable in before. I haven't slept on my back for decades, but now find myself waking up on my back. It sleeps cool as well! The ONLY con I can think of is the depth of the mattress. It's not thin, but it's not as thick as many, so the fitted sheets tend to come undone at the corners. Or kids mentioned this problem with theirs, and sure enough, we have the same thing. No regrets we have already recommended to some friends. Happy customers so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my back pain exacerbated 2years ago, I bought a tempur-proadapt firm for my guest bedroom first because I didn't want to give up my beloved mattress. Over the course of a year, I would sleep on the mattress in the guest bedroom with each exacerbation to see if my back pain would go away. Each time with everything I took and did, my back pain would go away and I would go back to my bed only to have another exacerbation. After doing this back and forth, I realized my old mattress was causing the exacerbations. I gave up and bought a proadapt firm mattress and foundation for my queen bed and couldn't be happier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pretty good; a few problems because i use a wheelchair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i got this mattress because it was 'firm' and it is firm in the middle when i'm on it. however, the edges are not firm, and since i sit on the edge to get into my wheelchair, that's a problem. And i lean on it when i get into the bed, which makes the mattress move; that's not so bad because i can fix it easily when i'm off it. if a person with some disability is considering getting it, be sure to check the height; none of the 3" increments made it work for me, so my daughter got some things from the hardware and added them to two of the 3" leg parts, and now it's good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST BED EVER My wife and I were long overdue for a new mattress and as soon as we laid on a Tempur-Pedic we knew it was the one for us. The mattress checked all the boxes for us and in my opinion is dollar for dollar the best value on the market. It is comfortable, cooling, supportive and we both have experienced the best sleep in as long as we can remember. My wife is sleeping through the night which used to be the exception and she reports am no longer snoring or tossing and turning throughout the night. Without hesitation I recommend Tempur-Pedic products to anyone even thinking about a new mattress. The money spent is an investment in your own wellness and in that regard, this is a bargain!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement of an ancient Tempurpedic mattress I didn't think we could ever replace this very old mattress because it was SO PERFECT! It was also completely worn out after about 25 years or so. Well, we got the ProAdapt firm and it is just like our old one. I was just thrilled. Completely happy. Our clerk was extremely helpful in listening to my story about trying to find another Tempurpedic mattress like our original. She just pointed it out and said that was it. And it was! If you want a firm mattress, this is the one! We got free delivery in 2 days and interest-free financing for 5 years. I ordered new pillows and can't wait for them to come in! Thank you, Lisa!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from quality sucks! split in less then two years the frame wiring is tripping out on lights in less than two years. the mattress got a split in it where i sleep, and they won't honor any warranty because there is a stain on the bed (people sleep on it, i have a 1 year old too (am i suppose to put a plastic sheet underneath?... heard they were the best on customer service and satisfaction but they are crap they denied my claim. 6k down the drain in 2 years.

I have had a Tempur-Pedic mattress in the past and always liked the support it gave me. I do love the Pro-Adapt Soft mattress. It was the first time I was able to sink into my bed and feel comfortable since becoming ill. The only thing I don't like about this mattress is that it becomes hot where you lay. I am constantly moving all over the mattress to find a cooler spot all night. If the heat from the mattress wasn't an issue then I would have given a five star rating. More work needs to be done to refine the body heat this mattress holds in.

I have two other tempurpedic beds in my house (one of a higher level and one of a lower level of tempurpedic) and this one easily compares to the higher level bed! There is the perfect amount of softness, while also having enough firmness to it. The bed scoops you in comfortably and allows for a restful night of sleep. I can honestly say I fall asleep quicker and do not toss and turn while sleeping in this bed. I wake up feeling refreshed after a restful night of sleep in this bed. I have always recommended tempurpedic beds and will continue to do so after being able to review this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I hate this mattress It was nice and plush the first few months. Now it has turned into a brick. I get pain in my heels just laying on my back for 5 minutes. It is ridiculous how bad the pressure point relief is. The worst mattress I've ever used. I get horrible sleep, aches all over no matter the position. And now it has started the flake a white snow when I change the sheets and mattress cover. Probably not good to be inhaling white mattress flakes while I sleep. I would give it zero stars if I could. Do not be lulled in by the initial comfort that will wear out just after the return period ends. What a waste of money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from ProAdapt Medium Hybrid - So Far so Good We replaced our old Tempur-Pedic firm memory foam which was 13 years old. Still adjusting to the new hybrid mattress but am convinced it is easier for my spouse to get out of bed than the old memory foam only. In addition, it is much more comfortable on my shoulders and hips so believe the coil springs help relieve some of the pressure. Only possible shortfall is that the edges are not as firm as the old memory foam but it has not caused any issue for us yet. Probably could have given it a 5 but want to wait and see how well it holds up. It's very expensive so would like to get at least 13 years out of this mattress.

It served us well all these years and was still in excellent condition; however, I wanted a new one with increased firmness. I like firm mattresses, and after 13 years, I decided we deserved a new one, and it would be another Tempur-Pedic. When our new one arrived, we gave our old one to my wife's twin sister who lives with us. She too loves it as we did. A Tempur-Pedic mattress is an investment in your wellbeing; it pays a daily dividend of a good night's sleep.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good I have had the new mattress, pillows and sheets now for about 30 days. So far I like it a lot, almost love but too soon to give it that. Humans spend a lot of time in bed and I have went with the cheap mattresses for over 50 years and almost got a sleep number bed, but after talking to people that have them, I realized that Tempur will be the better investment. I recommend to buy new sheets and pillows with a new mattress. AND get the mattress protector if you have pets that get on the bed (allowed or not) and kids, night #5 my dog tested it and boy was I feeling like a smart man. you will be the first to know if this bed doesn't hold up to the name. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfort Has taken awhile to adjust and still a work in progress. Harder or maybe denser than I like. There was a Tempur-Pedic sales rep in store that day. Sales person ask what I was looking for in new mattress and my sleep patterns. Told her I had good experiences with euro pillow tops while traveling. But she recommended the mattress I purchased over the pillow top. Not sure if might have been more satisfied or not with pillow top. But do wonder about my choice due to the firmness and breaking in period. Know I could return for a fee but will try to make this one work. I am sleeping more sound. So will probably be ok.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable but..... I sleep best on a firm mattress and this one doesn't disappoint, providing it doesn't break down. I've had mine for nearly 1.5 years and need to make a warranty claim. Every morning, my partner would sit on the edge of the bed while he put on his socks, shoes, etc before work. The firmness has gone and I feel like I have rolled into a hole. Remember the bowling ball mattress where they drop the ball onto the mattress but it doesn't disturb the glass of red wine? This mattress is not like that. I feel every move my partner makes. I wish I had gotten the split mattress! Maybe I wouldn't feel so much movement????

We love this mattress and our adjustable base. We start the night in zero gravity and then flatten the bed out sometime in the middle of the night. The zero gravity setting for the adjustable base is great for my husbands back. It takes all the pressure from the day away! Then when we flatten the mattress out later in the night, the mattress contours to us and we wake up feeling wonderful! The only problem we have is that we don't want to get out of bed in the morning!! We say it every night when we get in to bed....what a great purchase!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very firm at first then a dream I'm a light (110 lbs) side sleeper with mild lower back pain. Initially I bought the classic medium thinking it would be the best fit for my needs, however within a few weeks it felt like it was sinking so I exchanged it for the Pro Adopt Firm. At first I thought I made a huge mistake because it felt like I was sleeping on a board and gave me shoulder pain but after 3 months it is a dream!! I was worried it would continue to bother my shoulders but now I don't have any pain with all the comfort of a firm mattress. If you like a firm mattress and have lower back pain this is for you but you must give it the full 90 days to adapt to your body. It's a firm cloud that will last!
