Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING!!!! I was waking up every day with serious back pain. I would have to lean over the bed and slowly get up to a standing position before starting my day. Throughout the day my lower back would hurt so much. After one night sleep in my tempurpedic adjustable bed I got up right out of bed and throughout the day my back was feeling good. I can walk around all day without back pain. It has been 2 full weeks, and I tell everyone to get this bed. It is AMAZING!!! I wake up every day energized, not tired, and definitely no back pain. It is truly the best purchase I have ever made. I love my bed!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Still adjusting to new bed We've had this bed a month. When we tried it in the showroom display the "firm" mattress was very soft. The "medium" mattress was way too soft (sink to the bottom kinda soft). So we went with the firm with the idea it would relax/soften over time considering the showroom display had been there for quite a while. After taking delivery of our new split CA king bed, I found the firm was just that FIRM. Too firm for me but just right for my husband. Until this bed softens up a bit, I need to put a softer memory foam topper on it. Otherwise the quality is good and my husband likes all the bells and whistles of the base. It's perfect for him to adjust so he can be comfortable with his bad back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product, excellent sleep! After 19 years of sleeping on the original Tempur-Pedic Classic it was time to replace the mattress because of ruts. I wanted to purchase another Classic but the times, technology and Tempur-Pedic products have changed. I researched online information and went to several retail outlets to try to find a Tempur-Pedic mattress that was as close to the classic as I could find. The results was I purchased the Pro-Adapt firm and I could not be more confident in my purchase. This mattress is far superior to the original Classic and I am getting the best nights sleep ever. Looking forward to another 19 years of peaceful, relaxing and blissful sleep!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have been using this Tempur-pedicure Pro-Adapt soft mattress for about one week now. This mattress has extreme memory foam. When you sleep on it you do feel yourself sink down into the mattress and conform to your body. It also has a cooling top which helps you stay cooler at night if you are a hot sleeper. This is a nice mattress and it does feel good but i feel It is pretty expensive! If you are looking for a quality mattress and have the money to try this I would recommend trying it out. I have received this mattress for free for giving an honest review on this mattress.

The proadapt medium hybrid split king did support my hips and back which I have issues with however i found my neck getting more sore (which I also have issues with, the mattress didn't cause but irritated). Purchased the tempurpedic neck pillow in hopes of fixing the issue with no luck. I have spoke to many friends who love the product it just didn't work for me. I was tempted to try another style but was worried it may result in the same neck issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great size This bed is wonderful for my husband who likes to sleep on anything rock solid and generally uncomfortable for the rest of the world. We spent quite a deal of money on this bed after lots of urging from a salesman about how wonderful it would be for both of us. It's not. I like to sleep on a cloud and want to sink into my bed. I thought I could get used to this bed and I cannot. We will be returning to our local Slumberland and getting a replacement of some kind that will allow me to sleep and not keep me awake in pain, tossing and turning. My 6 month old should be keeping me awake, not the uncomfortable new, highly expensive mattress we bought.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I thought it was great until it wasn't I'm 4'10 about 118lbs, strict side sleeper (person #1) and partner is 5'2 about 220lbs, can sleep however (person #2). This bed is fairly firm and perfect for #2- even converted #2 from a stomach to back and side sleeper. #1 has history of back and hip issues- the mattress has been great in these areas, but now #1 suffers from elbow and shoulder pain due to the firm pressure of the mattress- as a side sleeper, I feel tortured flipping in pain from one side to the other all night. I like the fitted sheets and the ergo adjustable bed frame. My advise: if you are 2 people at different sizes, get your own mattress, this is too firm for a petite person

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware of Warranty Claims!! We unfortunately had to use our warranty because our mattress was sagging after 4 years. We decided to upgrade to a better mattress. When delivered it felt like a concrete slab! We slept one night & it was miserable, called Tempurpedic the next morning & we were told we could NOT exchange for a different mattress because it was a warranty replacement! SO, apparently Tempurpedic can send out any crappy mattress they want & if it's a warranty replacement the customer has ZERO RECOURSE! Unbelievable that they would treat 15+ years customers like this!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm In Love At first the mattress wasn't as comfortable as I thought that it should be for the money paid, & I thought that I had made a big mistake! I've had my bed for about 2 months now & I don't know exactly when it happened but the mattress is perfect!! I have fibromyalgia & thought that I needed a softer mattress, but boy was I wrong. My mattress feels as if it had been made for my body, not too soft & not too hard. This has been the best investment I've made to date & I am 67 years old.

There was no question we were going to purchase another TempurPedic, so I visited the TempurPedic website and it took minutes to choose our new mattress. Top notch customer service. Our new mattress is absolutely perfect in every way. There was no "break in" period; we had an awesome night's sleep on the very first night. We are TempurPedic customers for life!

I've had my old mattress for 7+ years so it was time to upgrade. I live a very active lifestyle: gym 5 times a week, commute on bus + walk every other day and was looking for additional lower back support as my #1. When it came to picking the level of support I wanted, I knew I either wanted Medium Hybrid or Firm. Ultimately, I went with Firm but I will say that it is **pretty** firm. For the first time in a long time I stopped remembering when I fall asleep, I sleep through the night and best of all, my lower back feels supported after a long day. #sponsored

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for hip pain [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a side sleeper I've always had hip pain in the morning but since getting a tempur-pedic it's completely disappeared. I was worried about not having enough support and about it sleeping hot. But I think having the spring coils in the hybrid not only give extra support but also helps keep the mattress cooler. I would say definitely try them out in store before ordering because your weight and sleep position will determine what level of firmness you'll need. Shipping was insanely fast, it was delivered and setup in under a week. All in all for me it was completely worth the price tag.

Tempurpedic is a life saver for me and I will never be able to go back to a regular mattress ever. I adjusted to the difference the first week. I used to wake up through out the night with back pain and arm pain as I am a stomach sleeper and never could get comfortable on my old mattress which was a very good quality mattress as well but never could get through the night on it without waking up in pain of some sort... Thinking I am just getting old! Tempurpedic has changed my life.. Seriously. I wake up ready to go and no more aches and pains... Worth every penny!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great customer service!! This is a replacement for a tempur-pedic that 'lost it's memory' and sagged. This new mattress is extremely hard, but we really love it! We got so used to sleeping on the bad mattress that this one actually took us a few nights to get used to, but it has been well worth it! We knew from trying one out in the store that it didn't quite have that 'contouring' effect, but our last two mattresses had that and sagged within a short period of time. I have high hopes for this mattress!! Also, I'd like to say that tempur-pedic really stands behind their mattresses and my claim was handled very quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend them!

I needed a firm mattress but a mattress with some give that would not give out. In the morning the head of the bed is always elevated a bit, proving that it had raised itself in response to snoring. The massage features and synching of music with the massage are frazzle-dazzle features, but the main thing for me is the "intelligence" of the mattress and the value of the SleepTracker app, which has gotten me serious for the first time about understanding my sleep patterns, sleeping longer, and sleeping more efficiently. I think I've been sleep-deprived for over 50 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Has changed the way I recover as an elite athlete!!" Everyone needs a Tempur-Pedic mattress! As a Team USA figure skater, recovery is a HUGE part of my life. This includes proper amount of sleep. Before I was sleeping on a mattress that I had had since middle school. In the past year I had noticed that I was having trouble falling asleep, getting too hot while I slept, and waking up with a sore back or not feeling refreshed. As soon as I started sleeping on my Tempur-Pedic mattress I noticed that I had more energy in the morning, I didn't feel as sluggish. This mattress adapts and conforms to my unique weight, shape, and temperature. It's pretty amazing what a good quality mattress can do for your life!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Significant Upgrade Our TEMPUR-ProAdapt mattress has been a game-changer in terms of sleep quality. The mattress has seemed to get more and more comfortable after each night of sleep, and I'm sleeping better than I have in months. I had been having hip soreness from my previous bed and those aches have been entirely relieved by this bed. I'm not one to sleep in, but this mattress is so comfortable that I have found myself sleeping longer than I had in my previous mattress. The only slight negative is that it does feel slightly warmer than my previous one, but it's so comfortable that I've already adjusted to that aspect. I absolutely would recommend this mattress to those looking for a premium upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I genuinely thought that waking up stiff and achy was age-related (I'm only in my 30's), and that tossing and turning all night was a personal problem. I've bought 4 mattresses in my adult life and nothing has ever made a dent in my terrible sleep, and for the first time in my life, after using this mattress- I wake up refreshed!! It sleeps cool, so I don't find myself sprawling all around, trying to find the cold spots anymore, and my joints don't ache at all! I'm replacing all of my mattresses in my other rooms with this immediately. I didn't even know a mattress could make this big of a difference.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable Fixed My Back Aches This was great for my lower back problem, which I no longer have. It is a high quality mattress with a high price, but really worth the money. This is my second one. I had my first one for 20 years. I should note that it was making my abs burn after laying on it for more that 8 hours straight. It was like doing a tiny crunch every time I moved. I move a lot when I sleep so I was getting quite a workout. After round a month my abs were used to it and were quite firm, and the morning burn went away. Maybe I'm the only one who experienced that, but the mattress is so comfortable and my wife loves it so much I decided to just live with it and take the workout while I was sleeping as a perk.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from More Firm Than Expected I tested several Tempur-Pedic mattresses in store and determine the ProAdapt Soft model best suited my needs. The mattress was delivered this week and unfortunately, it's much more firm than the model I tested at the store. In fact, it is more firm than my old mattress that I decided to replace due to firmness. I checked the tag to make sure I wasn't accidentally given a medium or firm model, but it says soft. I am giving it the recommended 30 days, but if it does not soften I will ask for a different model or return entirely. My in store experience with the mattress was very high but so far I am disappointed with the mattress I had delivered to my home.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I do not like the bed at all. I have lost so much sleep trying to adjust to this bed as a side sleeper. It makes me feel stuck in place in the shoulder area and I have been tossing every night and waking with numbness and tingling in my hands. It feels comfortable if I lay on my stomach or back but I am a side sleeper. I thought it would help my shoulder and hip pain but it has not worked for me. It does not align my body, it makes me feel like my head is higher than my shoulders. I called after having it for a week and not sleeping and was told I had to follow the company policy and keep it for 30 days before making a return. I'm in week three now and have not had one restful night.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instant comfort We would never have believed you could make a determination about the comfort of a mattress in a short 5-10 minute in-store trial. But the minute we laid down on Tempur-Pedics, we were sold! The only decision was whether or not to get the hybrid. We ultimately chose the Pro-Adapt hybrid because it provided a little more 'firmness.' As an older couple, we decided we could use the additional support to make getting into and out of the bed easier. So we chose the hybrid. We are 2 months into ownership, and couldn't be happier with our decision. We also got the Tempur-Pedic pillows and love them, too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love our new tempurpedic-ProAdapt Firm mattress! We just bought our second Tempurpedic-ProAdapt Firm mattress because we love it so much! We have a second home in Florida, which is where we spend the winter months. We first bought this mattress for our bed in Kentucky and it dramatically improved our sleeping there. When we came to Florida this winter, we missed the bed so much! We love the support that we had been feeling with the Tempurpedic mattress. After much debate, we decided to duplicate the bed for the time we are here. At first, we felt the bed was too firm, but after a week, we were in love with it! Good support for the back! Took care of my husband's restless legs.

I've slept on tempur-pedic mattress for over ten years now. i owned my first mattress for nine years, and my back started hurting. so last year i go over to a mattress store near my home, cause i know the brand i want. i tell the sells rep, I've have some back issues in the past. i need a new mattress !! so she tells me about the really firm mattress that temur-pedic , but there is no display in the store. i bought it base on her word, and my prior temur-pedic mattress. i haven't had a good night sleep since I've had this mattress!! its remains very very hard!! i wake feeing like I've played football all night. SORE all over. :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from "Firm" classification is a misrepresentation Overall this is a comfortable mattress, but it doesn't support my back like other firm mattresses. I invested in it as an answer to my back pain and I am terribly disappointed. This is not a true firm mattress. The support/resistance varies on different points of the surface, and it is effected by the room temperature. It gets softer in warmer temperatures and vise versa. A normal firm mattress alleviated my back pain, the Pro-Adapt firm does not. Tempur-Pedic ought to disclose this fact on their website, or avoid from classifying this mattress as "firm".

Seemed to be as hard as a sidewalk. After reading suggestions online, we started walking around on it several times a day. Now it seems a "little" better. Time will tell. Sales people should tell you it will take quite a while to get comfortable to sleep on. Maybe as long as a month or two we are now told. Soft is not "soft" as we have found out. Be careful as most display models in stores are months old with scores of people trying out. The one you buy will be very different for quite a while

We received this bed as our previous Tempurpedic Contour Elite which was only 2 1/2 years old was defective and after trying the new Pro Adapt soft mattress a few nights we tried to exchange it for a Pro Adapt Medium mattress and were told we could not after we were given the run around. so we got rid of it. Ten nights of very uncomfortable rest was all we could take. We have been exclusively Tempurpedic customers since our first mattress in 2002 and have owned three mattress since but will not purchase again.

I was looking at many different memory foam mattress but none of them will support weight over 200 lbs. Unbeknown to me my wife went furniture shopping before Christmas. She called me and asked me to come and check the mattress out. We decided on the Pro adapt medium split king. All I can say is we are both having the best sleep ever. We both wake up with no back or neck pain. After a week of sleeping on the new mattress, one evening I said to my wife that I could remember many years ago that I would never spend that kind of money on a bed. I am glad that we did.

Representative was happy to help, and we asked about the $300. promotional, which we qualified for. The mattress cover came with the 2 pillows under separate cover. The representative assured us the mattress cover was comfortable. She didn't tell us it could not be returned! Since these items were more than the $300.00, we paid the difference. The mattress came and we put on the mattress cover, which slides around, and is not comfortable. Disappointed that I wasn't told it could not returned, resulting in terse email from TempurPedic advising me of this, without any thought that I was misinformed by the sales representative.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unexpected, amazing relief I have purchased way too mattresses in the past 10 years, searching for a good nights sleep. Finally, Tempurpedic Proadapt Firm mattress has given me reliably great rest every single night. Each night I go to bed and I think the mattress might be too hard for me, as I seem to lie on top of it rather than in it, however that thought lasts about 5-10 minutes and next I know, I'm waking up 8 hours later with no shoulder/ hip/ back pain. I also purchased the Adapt Prolo+cooling pillow and that, too, is a game changer for me ...no more neck pain. This purchase has genuinely changed my life for the better. No more Ibuprofen, no more Acetaminophen. I hope that everyone can find the relief I am enjoying.
