Rated 1 out of 5 by from Surprisingly heavy and mu Surprisingly heavy and much too soft. Even with the double version, I easily bottom out, making this suitable only for short periods of time. And I only weigh 160 lbs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Seat just didn't work The seat keep slipping forward. I also found that it was slightly too big for my chair, which is likely why is slips. I have the travel version with much less slippage due to its smaller size. Also, even on the hard setting, the seat was too soft and a little too high. Just didn't work for me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect. I use this for my Aeron chair. I was looking for a cushion that would help with the pressure points on a mesh base chair, mainly around where my legs hang off the chair there is a point where you have plastic leaning against the bottom of your legs. The Purple Seat Cushion definitely helps out relieving the issues I have with my chair. The only issue (what prevents it from being 5 stars) is the cushion shifts around was too easily. It has a no slip coating on the bottom of the cushion but it is inadequate to keep it from sliding around under you. If there was a strap or something that could attach to the handles that are already on the structure to aid in keeping the cushion in place it would be perfect. Thank you purple for the help with my butt pains.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this thing! - Work from home Web Developer Seriously, this thing is great. I work from home, and I bought the Royal Seat Cushion around the Spring of 2019. I wish I had of gotten this Double Seat Cushion instead. This one has been a game changer for my super-basic office chair. Now, I only use my Royal Seat Cushion in the car. The Double is too wide for a car seat unless you put it on a truck seat. The Double is so ridiculous comfortable. I really didn't want to get rid of my office chair, because you can't get this orange anywhere! Also, this cushion is cheaper than a chair I would have to buy with cushion that would fail eventually. #worthit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from pillow As I wrote in an e-mail to you the pillow has a terrible smell; and made me very nauseated. I was afraid my small dog would die from the gas-like smell. I tossed it into a spare room thinking after a couple of weeks the smell would go away; but no. You did offer to send me another; but why would I ever want another with this smell. The thing is I very nearly cancelled my whole order thinking the mattress would have that same smell; and would be unbearable to sleep on. Fortunately the mattress did not; and I do love it. I was thinking about getting a dog bed; but once again afraid it might smell like the pillow. In closing I would like to say everyone at Purple that I have dealt with have been the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to help me. Thank you all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy again for myself or as gift. I have a bony behind with not much meat or fat back there. The purple cushion seems to help quite a bit when sitting down, my bum doesn't get as sore when sitting. I just wish it was a tad bit bigger in L x W.

So comfortable in fact that I bought one for my office desk chair too. If you have occasion to sit long hours for work, and have been uncomfortable -treat yourself. These seat cushions (I have one of each ) are outstanding. At both price points -outstanding.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm satisfied, but they could make some improvements I have a current medical issue which makes sitting very painful. I had already tried two other brand pillows, but my doctor said some of his patients liked Purple brand so I thought I'd give it a try. I picked this one since it offers the option of coverage for both hard and soft seating coverage. The gel gives a cooling effect so it numbs my pain a bit while sitting. Some improvements that could be made to this pillow are 1) This pillow is double-sided, but the cover really isn't. One side looks more non-slip. The way the instructions tell me to put the cushion on mean that the grippy side is up for harder chairs. That's fine for my sitting purposes, but the cushion does scoot forward on the chair and not stay in place throughout the day as I sit up and down. 2) It is a heavy cushion. The carry handles make it a little easier to hold, but it's not lightweight. I did opt for this one over the travel pillow because I wanted more cushioning. Overall, it has helped my pain issue and I do like the color of the cushion and cover. I hope that the gel holds up long-term.

However, needs to be one inch wider for wheelchair use. Not quite wide enough...my hip/butt feels the edge of the cushion, as it leaves about 1/2 inch space on each side. Also is a bit pricey, but will see how long it lasts.
