Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautful ... BUT!! After several months of looking at dinning room tables, I settled on Ashley's Owingsville dining room table. The size for a small family is right. The price is right. As for the QUALITY? Unfortunately, I am not able to say the same. It has been in my dinning room ONE month and the top is already covered scratches and small gouges. (There are no children in the household ... only two adults sit at the table.) I noticed in an earlier description it was said to be made of "select hardwood". That is a misnomer. I'm rather disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Product We were looking for a dining room set that would blend well with our existing buffet, which is also black/brown. And this table and chairs does. Our dining and living rooms are open to each other, and the wood tone table top and chair seats go very well with our living room tables and pulls it all together. I was a little intimidated by it requiring assembly, but my husband and I assembled it in a short amount of time. It looks great and functions well for our family, most notably when my son and his family visited for Easter. It's great. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect addition for our home! I wanted a bench at the end of our bed to finish the bedroom design. Most benches I looked at were to expensive and to wide for the area in our bedroom. Then I came up with the idea of being a bench in our bedroom and working as extra seating at our table during the Holidays. This bench will do both! The bench is very stately in it's design and looks beautiful in the bedroom and works great at the table when the family comes over for dinner. The bench arrived just two days after ordering it online. It was easy to assemble and is a show stopper.

I didn’t need the bench but since the price was so good with free s/h I couldn’t think of a reason not to move forward. The bench has a good weight, looks fantastic, and is actually a pretty cool seating option. I didn’t need it for my dining set since I optioned for the six (6) chairs instead but I think it’s a nice addition to my space sitting in front of the window. The packaging on this piece faired much better than the table. The box with the legs were still fully secured to the underside of the bench upon delivery which meant the legs were in pristine condition.

Did a quick on line search and found this one and so happy I did. It is perfect!. Running around looking for items is exhausting. I'm finally an on line believer !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely easily scratched Bought this table 2 months ago. Completely covered with scratches just from normal everyday use. Very poor quality. Very disappointed. Previous table owned for 20 years and no scratches showed on the table. Would not recommend.

I was wary with the low price but took a chance and regret it. I bought a plastic cover to protect in the future but believe this will be a temporary table until my children are a but older
