Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doesn’t wear well I have had this table for almost 4 years now and it really has not aged well. The finish on the top has flaked off and the original wood shows underneath. It doesn’t look good at all and I have been considering trying to refinish it but with all the grooves and “weathered” look to the wood I don’t think it would be an easy job. It is a solid table just be aware that it will wear out quickly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It is a table of some sort We have this model. The seats are poorly made you can feel the edge boards on them and they sag in the middle. The table is of poor quality. The top is made out of pressed cardboard with a finish over the top. They didn't even take the time to put a clear coat over the finish. Less then a year of light use ours is losing it's finish. And the table wiggles a lot now. It's just cheap junk. Save your money get a good solid wood table or buy something better. This table is for looks only. If your looking for a table that looks great and you don't use everyday this is a good table for you. If you have a family and your planing on using it a couple times a day don't expect it to last or look nice past a couple of years.

The table itself is sturdy and attractive but there’s no hope for the top. A nice table top should last much longer! Called Ashley and they said sorry, we can’t replace just the top.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Owned over a year This table is very nice looking, love the storage, we use the table in our kitchen for daily eating. I use a damp cloth to wipe down. It is extremely difficult to clean, there are many grooves and nooks so crumbs and anything the size of crumbs get stuck in the grooves so I also have to use a tiny broom or soft bristle toothbrush to clean it, the paint has started flaking off leaving the surface to feel like I could get a splinter. A table cloth could be used but that would cover the drawers. The surface is a bit uneven given the table style so beware of how you set things down (like cups/glasses). Overall I would not recommend this table for daily family use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Uneven top, easily warps I've had this table since March 2023, it is now September 2024, and unfortunately it is extremely susceptible to warping. The most noticeable warp is approximately 7 inches across now. I'm deeply disappointed in the craftsmanship and longevity of the product. Further, the tabletop is not among the parts I could order for replacement.

Solid, heavy, seems to be well made for the price point. Very happy with purchase. Easy to put together as well. Just need two people as it is heavy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Top chipped and seats not wood under cushions Aesthetic is great, but the top chipped in the first year and the chairs only have cardboard or something fairly flexible in the seat and do not hold up to busy everyday wear and tear. I may eventually see about recovering seats and refinishing the top. I do love the set otherwise.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The other reviews are completely true, the top flakes off, for me it was after about a year of barely using it, and making sure not to get it wet as I read other reviews. I was going crazy trying to cover up the white specs from where it flaked/chipped (and kept doing so) with a magic marker, and it looked HORRIBLE. I was embarrassed to have anyone over as it looked super cheap. I got sick of looking at it, and the store I bought it from did nothing but offer to do the same with a magic marker, so I was about to start trying to figure out ways to get rid of it. I will say I loved the look of the table when I first got it, and the functionality, so in a last ditch effort I decided to take my sander to the top, and see what I could do. I’m so glad that I did. I completely stripped the top of whatever that junk coating was that had no durability and made the veneer look like faux wood. To my surprise the veneer was actually decent, and not easy to sand through….the white specs that I thought was the veneer chipping off was actually just the top coating and the stain. So anyway, like I said, I stripped it down to nothing (1st pic), stained it, and applied multiple coats of glossy water based Varothane Triple Thick Polyurethane. It’s important to use the triple thick as I think the top needs the extra protection, plus you can use it to fill in the gaps on the top that food crumbs get into, as well as water that can destroy the veneer. Anyway, the finished product (picture 2) is AMAZING!!!! The stain and glossy poly really bring out the beauty of too, and now instead of a faux wood cheap looking top that’s falling apart, I have a beautiful, natural wood looking table top, that is also durable and protected my multiple coats (I used 5) of thick poly, and I don’t need to stress out if the dinner table actually gets wet….I mean who would think a place where people eat could actually get wet??? So I’m now in love with this table, after about a day of putting in some time and a little elbow grease!!!
