It's lightweight and thin, so it's easy to adjust and move around, but you'll probably need to get some non-slip rug strips to secure it in place if you put it in a high-traction area. My robot vacuum cleaner had no issues climbing over the height of it and cleans over it well as it's low pile. The material is soft, but sturdy. Not much cushion, so consider that if you're planning on having your child sitting on it. For what we currently use it for, which is decor/ aesthetics to match our modern mid-century style furniture, it definitely fits the bill. Love the design!

I'm using this rug in my living area under the sofa. It exactly matches my living room furniture and style. The rug itself is very elegant and cozy. I love to sit on floor but and this rug makes it conformable.

It didn’t take long for the rug to learn to lay completely flat. The underside does not have a rubber underside but sliding hasn’t been an issue. Easily vacuums up nicely.

Design goes well in a neutral environment. Vacuumed over it a few times and still looks just as new. Already had a spill and the stain came off.
