Rated 5 out of 5 by from Therapy by Couch I have the most wonderful, gorgeous and most important well built couch which has made a huge difference as I’ve worked to rebuild my strength after a serious illness and hospitalization in November. I worked with a physical therapist who was concerned I could not easily get up from couch. My need was critical and my daughter went to Homemakers and tested 2O couches by sitting in them. She picked a beautiful one that fits perfectly with my furnishings as well as provides near safe, strong place to sit. I’m now fully recovered and showing off my amazing couch to friends, neighbors and my physical therapist. I bet Homemakers didn’t know you could play such an important role in my recovery. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Craftsmanship- Cheap, flimsy materials We bought two of these Traemore sofas in order to having a matching set in our new home. I initially liked the linen appearance & the fact that they sat high (vs sinking). We've had them just 3.5 years (not even used every day) & one of the couches completely broke when my son (who weighs less than 200 lbs) sat down on it on Christmas Day. When I took the bottom fabric off to see if I could repair it myself, the cheap, flimsy materials used to make the couch were revealed: nondurable pressed wood pieces, very thin, flimsy light weight wood that was just 1in x 2in thickness, and flimsy stapled straps to support the back & bottom. I am disgusted at how cheaply this is made compared to the priced charged! Now I only have 1 couch instead of matching ones after spending over $1300 for the set. So sad! My other couches were not high end (as I bought them on a 20-something year old's teacher salary, but the one set lasted 20 years before I've sold the couch second hand. (We still use the loveseat in my husband's tv/office area & he sits on it daily. ) My other set lasted 15 years for us & is still being used by another family. Both were more comfortable, cost less than these & were made much better. So incredibly disappointing, Ashley Furniture! People work hard for their $$ and deserve a quality product for the prices you charge! Sadly I will not be recommending Ashley to anyone else, unless they want to stand behind their product and replace our couch!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and Comfortable This couch is a sturdy yet comfortable piece. It sits deep which gives plenty of room for lounging or even lying. This piece feels as if it will hold up for many years.
