Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again I did not setup the smart base myself, but paid for setup. However, I did watch the drivers during setup & thought it looked easy to follow. The height can be adjusted which is great. I'm tall (6ft), so I asked them to set it at the maximum height. I was surprised just how high that is. Sitting on the bedside my feet actually dangle. I have considered lowering it, but I'm loving the tall storage space under the bed, so maybe not. Loving the versatility of the settings, since reading in bed helps with my insomnia. Now I can just press a button to get into a great reading position & then the reset button to return to a flat surface when I'm done.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good frame for the price. It's taking a while for my basic Purple mattress to conform to the bends of the adjustable base. The mattress holder at the end of the bed could use a bend on top to hold down and help stubborn mattresses lie properly.

Perfect comfort and perfect temperature. There is no words to describe how much better I sleep now than what I use to sleep in my old bed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I can take it or leave it We do not use the base very much. I have tried it and it is nice to be able to raise the head or legs but not a life changing event for us. The mattress is life changing, the bas is a base. I can see if that is your thing it would be great.

In "zero gravity " mode, it's like you're suspended in a hammock! It's support with no pressure so it doesn't hurt my back to lay down. After several years of restless nights and little sleep, I was able to at last get a good nights sleep with the Purple Bed!! Thank you very much!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great base and very comfortable After having surgery on my leg, I needed a way to sit up and be productive and this base is perfect. The shipping was SO fast - it arrived 2 days after I ordered it! My friends came and set it up and it was very quick and simple. If you get the headboard attachment be aware the instructions are in the booklet for the adjustable bed and not with the accessory.I would highly recommend this frame.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but squeaky I like the adjustability and that you can raise the head to basically an upright position for sitting up in bed. It is squeaky. Not the mechanical parts. The squeak/popping sound comes from the padding surrounding the edges. Sounds like it is going to pop off. It's quite startling, actually. Not a fan of the fact that there is no replacement sold for the remote, so if you ever lose it- too bad, now your bed doesn't work!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Flat is not for me I cannot sleep laying flat. Pillows and such don't work. I want a power base so I can keep me from 'flat!' My old bed had this feature so I've been able to do what I wanted for lots of years. My only problem is with sheets that don't tuck in the way they used to. Oh well, I will just enjoy my new mattress and base and sleep

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing This just makes the purple bed itself amazing. It's like I never want to leave bed. I bring it up practically to a sitting position to watch tv in the bedroom. I have feet issues and to sleep with your feel slightly elevated is totally amazing. No pain the next day. Swelling is non existent now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slightly disappointing First off we love purple mattresses, bought our first one years ago and just recently bought a new king size hybrid premier. The adjustable base leaves something to be desired. The biggest issue is the lack of any attachment or Velcro to hold the mattress to the adjustable base, without that when you use the zero g function the mattress bends so crazy it's like your feet are almost straight up. It's also a bit low to the ground. Small changes that could easily make it closer to a 5 star review.
