Rated 1 out of 5 by from WOBBLY and WORST SLEEP OF MY LIFE RUN! Do not buy this bed unless you are a very deep sleeper. My first base arrived with a cut cord and it was so wobbly i could feel every slight movement of my husband. They assured me that they are not wobbly and I needed to wait for the new one to arrive, that the shakiness was part of the problem. Well it took a MONTH to receive my new one and its just as wobbly as the first one and... no returns! So disappointed. This was a real investment only to be sleeping worse than I was before. Any slight movement shakes the whole bed. This base is a cheap joke... do not BUY!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smart base The base has a lot of features, the massage is more of just a vibrate so it doesn't do a whole lot to relieve anything. It took over a month to get our base in, they rescheduled us several times, so if you order be prepared to wait a very long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adjustable Ergo Smart Base has helped my snoring [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I knew 20 years ago that raising my head by 12 degrees would mostly cure my snoring... I mostly snore when sleeping on my back. My wife use to complain and nudge me to change positions to my side. With this new Ergo smart base I can adjust my head position to elevate or have the ergo smart base automatically adjust the head position if it detects snoring. My wife and I are both amazed at how well this works. I have a sleep app that records my sounds/snoring and low and behold my snoring has reduced 95% with the new adjustable base. The Zero G sleeping position is also surprisingly comfortable. I really enjoy the TV viewing position as well. It's really easy to fall asleep in almost any position... The only complaint I have is that the base sometimes loses its WIFI connection once or twice a week and I have to resync the WIFI. Not sure if that's b/c of my WIFI or the Base WIFI receptor...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the features of our split smart base and had tried out others in stores before purchasing online. What we don't love is: the BRIGHT light at the end of the bed that lights up the entire room - we had to finally put black electrical tape over these. When one of us is using the massage features, the other feels the reverberating massage even when it is not their side activated. The noise when we activate either the foot or head inclines. It sounds like crackling paper so not able to do while the other is sleeping to change your comfort position. The biggest complaint is we were promised by everyone that the bed would fit into our low-profile frame/headboard. When installing we were told we've never seen this before and will try to make it work......and they sort of did. We had to use all of the risers to make the base fit into the frame and with the mattress it is way too high.

Just the date alone had a major impact as the tracking helped me progressively improve and fix the bed and wake up times. I snore as well. So the auto detection and adjustments help a lot. Easy decision to go with this if you are getting a pricey mattress anyway.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fit and Finish Issues Purchased the Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-Ergo Extend Smart Base and the Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt mattress approximately eight months ago. There are numerous shortcomings that must be addressed. All the electronics and writing are exposed and hang from the underside of the base. This is unacceptable for such an exorbitantly overpriced product. Aside from looking cheap and unfinished, it presents a hazard for customers with pets that enjoy chewing wires or any small pet that ventures under the base. If I had known this initially, I would not have purchased the Ergo base and TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt mattress. Was it ever a thought to design a 1/8" vented plastic cover to protect the electronics and wiring? Unfortunately, I was forced to purchase 1/8" sheets of black posterboard. Once measured and cut to size, I affixed it as one unit to the underside of the base using clear repair duct tape. The Battery backup box is unattached and hangs. In addition, there are two exposed 9-volt battery connectors hanging out of the battery backup box. Do we just connect the batteries and let them hang? Was there any consideration for safety, fit, and finish when this base was designed? Also, is there a reason the Sleeptracker Smart Cable is not included? The massage motors are a gimmick and provide no therapeutic value. In fact, I cannot find any technical information such as frequency (Hz) that may support any curative claims. Also, if you are on the second floor, you cannot activate the massage motors. The vibration resonates through the frame and through the floor and thus, will be an irritant for those on the lower floor. The felt adhesive pads at the end of each of the base legs are cheap and detach easily, exposing the bare metal on hardwood floors. All of them need to be replaced.

I like having so many options for getting comfortable or taking pressure off my back when needed. My husband loves it, as well. We have a split king, so we each can personalize it to our maximum comfort level. My favorites are the TV mode and zero gravity mode which relieves pressure on my joints and puts me to sleep every time. My husband likes that he can create his own presets. I highly recommend it! It made such a difference for me that my sister bought one on my recommendation because she has also been having sleep issues. The smart base came with white glove delivery and free haul away of our old mattress, which saved my husband's back. Just invest in good sleep; you won't be sorry!

The dual massage/vibration feature is outstanding, it helps relax my muscles after a long day. There are multiple settings that I'm still figuring out. My other favorite use is the under-bed lighting, which is just the right brightness as to not wake up everyone else. The zero gravity setting is my favorite.

I am a medically retired disabled veteran, with back and shoulder injuries. Took little while to find the right adjustment for me. I do wish there was a numerical reference to your settings. But it's not terrible. My wife is 5 months pregnant now and also loves the flexibility when she's uncomfortable she can just change the position of the bed. The night light feature and the massager are a must.

I thought my base was coming sooner and so I had my old mattress set hauled out. When the base didn't come but the mattress had I ended up sleeping on the mattress on the floor and it was amazing but I wasn't sure if I actually needed the base. When the bass did come, I was glad that I got it. It has lumbar support, which is amazing. I don't really understand the vibration, but other than that it is wonderful and even tracks my sleep. it's pricey, but worth the money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sleeptracker and cell remotes have problems The Ergo Smart base is a wonderful product if you can get the app features to work properly (which we haven't been able to do yet). The Sleeptracker reports correspond to the wrong sides of the bed and cell phone "remotes" both work on the same side of the bed (hand held remotes that came with the bases work fine). Contacted customer service shortly after getting the bases and was given some detailed things to try. Turns out, not all worked and I am planning to call them again after we come back from some trips. Customer service can be tough to get through to but are very helpful once you do. In my case, not every change worked after talking with them, but this happens with a new, somewhat complex product. When I get the issues taken care of, I will change my rating to five stars.

Being able to tilt the bed has allowed me to stay in bed all night, rather than needing to transition to the recliner when my reflux acts up! Also, there was one feature with the Ergo that I was interested in (forgot which one it was). I was not interested in the sleep data/sensor stuff and have used it minimally. If I continue to not use all the features I will disable the wifi. The base though is nice and has improved my sleep. The reason why I give this 3 stars instead of 5 because of the wifi and the stupid light on the base.

I never thought that it would have so many different positions and options. My husband has some problem snoring which makes it difficult for him to sleep sometimes as well as me. This bed detects, alerts, and adjusts automatically to stop snoring. I get all kinds of useful information in the morning no need for any smart watch anymore when sleeping. We love that you have the ability to raise and lower the bed, the USB outlets, the light that can be turned on under the bed. It is truly a work of art!!!
