Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life-altering sleep I haven't napped in 20 years and I've taken 3 naps in the middle of the day since receiving my Purple mattress. I usually cannot fall asleep without sleep medication so this is huge. Even with medication I suffer from insomnia. I have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. Since the purple mattress I am falling asleep quickly and I am staying asleep all night!! It is a dream come true!! Thank you purple! I also am a hot sleeper and suffer from night sweats. This mattress doesn't just not make you hot it is cooling. I only wish I'd bought one sooner. I'll never sleep on anything else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective Mattress and Impossible Returns! Total lies! The mattress came over and inch and a half too thin...and yes we waited weeks for it to "blossom". There are ridges in it, too. We emailed to report the problem and they take no accountability and force you to call them and they have super limited hours. This company is a total scam and I recommend never purchasing anything from them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from yes i bought this mattress after suffering with a sudden sprain ciatica i woke up in middle of night went to get up and collapsed to floor i'm horrific pain i was unable to move for 3 days finally lifted my injured body up to get to a hospital when the ambulance driver told me he suffered with siatica for 3 months i said how's you get rid of it? he said he bought a purple mattress! i knew my mattress was causing problems every morning id wake up stiff! so after suffering from this horrible nightmare for 5 weeks i bought a purple mattress! after sleeping on it third night i was on the way to recovering ! was walking on 4 th day after sleeping on my new mattress! the service i record from your staff was over the top i explained my situation to salesman when ordering my new mattress he had is shipped to me in two days! the care and compassion your staff had for me went above and beyond! thank you for the best mattress ever ! i sleep through the night now also! had horrible insomnia as well! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Picky sleepers, we love it! My spouse and I needed to replace our current mattress, but were apprehensive because we loved ours so much. We researched Nectar, SleepNumber and landed on Purple. We're picky and prefer a firm mattress, and while this one doesn't appear firm at first, it's incredibly supportive. I had no idea my side sleeping felt so much pressure before until I felt the sweet relief of the grid feature -- which gives strong support, while allowing some 'give' for your hips/shoulders to sink in just a tad, giving you better alignment and more comfortable support. Both my spouse and I are hot sleepers and noticed the sort of light and airy feel of Purple. My spouse moves around a lot when he sleeps, but I honestly think I notice it less with this mattress (either bc he's more comfort and moving less, or the absorption in movement doesn't transfer to me as easily...either way, an improvement!).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Still tossing and turning, waking with lower back pain Although it is better than the mattress I had, but I'm still waking with lower back pain. On a pain scale of 1 to 10, it has improved from being a 9 to 10 to a 2 to 3. It's not as soft as I thought it would be.

I am hoping that over time my Purple mattress will allow healing to take place in hips and shoulders to reduce the pain even more! I love the concept of a mattress designed to reduce pressure point stress. I attest that my mattress does in fact reduce pressure point stress. Who knows what other benefits will come as a result?! From the first online ad of protected raw eggs at those infamous pressure points I was hooked! It has taken years to get to the point where the purchase was made and the mattress enjoyed. Historic moment :-) Thank you!

I tend not to wake up in the middle of the night now, & if I do I fall back to sleep quickly. It's like being softly caressed. I've had the mattress 3 1/2 wks.

In addition, I still have to toss and turn. I've slept in bed where I didn't have to wake up and toss and turn all night long so I guess this isn't the perfect mattress for us, but I don't know what else to do.

The mattress itself is VERY cold which I originally wanted but it takes some getting used too since the cold induces nightmares and I had multiple of those for the first few nights. Not experiencing any shoulder/arm pain as a side sleeper.
