I am a back sleeper, partner side sleeper we found this to work exceptionally well for both of us. I thought the whole grid tech was a gimmick, yet it is working very well. Finally it did not have the strange smell upon unpacking that we had with our old mattress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Changed my life! I had severe pain all night every night with screaming pain in my bones. I am a cancer survivor but along with that I have severe neuropathy. The Purple has changed my life and I get immediate relief and can sleep for the first time in years. My sister has a purple and when I visited her in Florida I slept in her bed and could not believe the difference. Needless to say when she bought me my Purple Plus I was so happy I cried. Please just keep making this mattress the exact same way and don't change like the pillow which is now horrible.

It is at times a floating feel, like being gently on top of salt water buoyancy - a very good feeling! and great for reading. Pillow not as successful for me .... Next time I would skip the pillow -

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stiffness you didn't even know you had? I've been wanting a Purple for ages and I finally bit the bullet and got one. After a couple of nights sleeping on it I realized that I didn't have some of the stiffness I didn't even realize I had before. I wouldn't say necessarily that the mattress has had any impact on my insomnia, but I do have more willingness to go to bed or stay in bed because it's so comfortable. My cats are also super fans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm able to sleep on my back again? Absolutely love the mattress. The last 14 years I haven't been able to sleep on my back as it would hurt my lower back of I tried. My side sleeping has been plagued with hip pain and the struggle of having a kinked neck every week, at some point.... I've had the new mattress a few weeks and it's amazing. No pain, no tossing and turning, and I can sleep the wen grow night on my back now. Worth the money!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's an ok bed The bed is very underwhelming for the price I figured it would be more comfortable then it is. I still toss and turn at night, my sleep has not improved. The bed is firm and it has taken me a while to get adjusted to it and I still get the same sleep compared to my old gel infused memory foam mattress. The upside to this mattress is that it's a queen size bed, my other mattress was a full.

I'm a side sleeper and we have a platform bed made of hardwood, which has zero give. We had a too-firm mattress (one of the foam/coil Purple hybrids from Mattress Firm -- SO FIRM). Swapped it for this one and I am so comfortable at night now, I actually enjoy lying down on the bed. We had the original Purple mattress for about 7 years and upgraded to this. With some cooling sheets, I don't get hot overnight at all and I don't wake up with any neck, back or hip pain anymore, Hallelujah.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is our 3rd purple This is our third purple we Owned one at our former home we have one in our 40 foot class RV and we just bought a new home and bought our third which is the step up from the base model Purple, I wanted something just a tad bit softer and it said that it was good for sides. Sleepers really loved my other two purple so I was hesitant to change something I know worked so well for my bad sleeping habits. But this one came in it was softer than I thought it would be which I thought would be a problem for my wife who tends to like harder sleeping surfaces, but I think it's actually better than the original model. I had to go out of town for a week and it was the worst week in my life after sleeping on the bed. It was well worth the investment and I know when the time comes to purchase another bed. I will be Another purple.
