Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best non-Newtonian mattress you can buy I went to the Emeryville, CA store and Daryl was exceptionally helpful to me while I picked this mattress. I chose it over one of the more expensive models because I liked the feel better. The best way I can describe the mattress is that the Purple grid makes the surface non-Newtonian. So it seems way too soft, but once you are laid out and spread out over the bed, it becomes firm. This means that you can sleep with your arm under your head (or your cuddle buddy) without it being so soft that your back isn't supported or so firm that it's uncomfortable.

Was worth all that time waiting. I no longer wake up with hip or lower back pain. I notice I been falling asleep faster and staying asleep longer too. I'm no longer tossing and turning. Occasionally I will switch from my back or side. But I'm mostly sleep on my side.

The mattress is supposed to be cooling. However it holds so much heat. We tried adjusting our room temperature and many other things. To be certain it is the mattress. It is absolutely the hot mattress. It also holds heat for a long time when you get out of bed. I would not recommend this mattress for anyone. Especially anyone who have the issues this mattress is supposed to solve.

Initially, they delivered on their softness, but their durability quickly proved lacking, even with diligent adherence to the care instructions. Within just two months, these sheets began to pill, detracting from their appeal and comfort. Despite my efforts to maintain their quality, the fabric looked worn and aged. It's disheartening that even with proper care, the Purple Soft Stretch Sheets couldn't withstand regular use. Regrettably, I cannot recommend them to others seeking long-lasting bedding. Exploring alternative options may be the wiser choice for those desiring both comfort and durability.

But if you like a tight fitting smooth looking bed - it will never look like that after the first time you sleep on it Very very expensive product for the quality
