I wish it was a little softer, but I'm betting it will soften over time (I prefer to sleep in a fluffy cloud). Great product, with mattresses, you get what you pay for.

I'm a mix of side to side and back. I've had it about a month now. The quality is excellent. I just need to figure out which one is the one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love The Stearns & Foster Estate in Firm I Purchased the Stearns and Foster Estate Mattress in Firm when I bought my Bedroom Set and I love this Mattress as I have back problems and this is the best Mattress as the Sales Person at Raymour and Flanagan allowed me to try the mattress in the store and I had to have it so I bought it. It's fantastic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality disappointment We purchased a Stearn's and Foster king, firm, pillow top mattress in March of 2021 and it is sagging and so uncomfortable we had to go purchase a new mattress today, 1/29/2024. I'm very disappointed in the quality of it, since we paid so much for it. I wake in pain in my back, hips and shoulders every day, unless we sleep on another bed.

The mattress was better than expected, especially in terms of the outer materials. We had tried to use a Saatva firm memory foam bed previously, but it started to get too soft after only a few months. The springs in this bed make it feel much sturdier. Time will tell, but I am guessing it will last much longer. Going back to a spring mattress, I was most worried about motion transfer, but it hasn't been too bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really like my new mattress I started off with a Bed Tech copper lux soft mattress. We had a cold winter and my bedroom became cold. The Bed Tech mattress turned hard as a brick. I was miserable. I then tried a medium firmness Tempur-Pedic supreme overlay for the Bed Tech mattress. I I was miserable because it was too firm. I then tried an Adapt Tempur-Pedic overlay for the mattress. That was not comfortable either. I then went with a Saatva overlay for the mattress. That did not work and was not soft enough. Saatva then told me to order a feather overlay for the Saatva overlay mattress. I was sent two and both of them were contaminated with horrible odors that I could not use. I was so uncomfortable that I decided to get rid of everything and start all over again. I went with a full Estate soft pillow top. I love it. At first it was somewhat firmer than I liked but I have had it now for about 40 days and it is getting very soft and comfortable. I am now comfortable and am looking forward to going to bed rather than dreading it. It was expensive and a big financial burden but it is worth a good nights sleep.

The quality and structure of the sterns and foster mattress is outstanding. Please do not change it. I am sleeping so much better however, I am considering returning it and upgrading to the cooling gel version because it does sleep a little warm. I wish all companies would stop putting hot latex in their products.

Our old one was memory foam and did not have enough support at all especially for my boyfriend who would wake up with back pain all the time. He hasn't complained once since we got this mattress and I feel much more support and comfortable as well!

Straps make it easier to lift and pull the mattress. This mattress sits higher than what I'm used to so it took some time getting adjusted in and out of bed. I will make say there were stitches or loss strings in the mattress that should have been cut before selling. Major plus my back feels great so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually, I have extra things added to my bedding to make it more comfy, no matter what mattress I had I always had the memory foam toppers, the egg carton-looking topper, or unused blankets just to add more cushion. Not with this mattress. Granted, it took about a month to break it in for it to be comfy, but now it is the best sleep EVER. I sink right into it. The mattress is by no means thin. It is very thick and plush. I highly recommend this brand!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't go near this matress if you value cool body sleep Awful. We got it to replace a 20 yr old S&F. This mattress is a work of pure evil. Underneath you is some sort of material that resembles a thin wool blanket. It will keep you very hot. I've tried sleeping on it for 3 nights, I got 3hrs one night and 2 x 5hrs before being woken by furnace like temperatures. How much of that was REM God only knows. If you like to control your body temp and 'security' by way of your own blankets, seriously look elsewhere. You'll likely find that you'll need to pitch your blankets off which in turn will leave that part of your body getting gradually colder. Their sales documentation states that the mattress takes heat away from the sleeper, that's a lie and false advertising.

It is very firm and comfortable and we are able to get a very restful and comfortable nights sleep. We appreciate that it is well constructed and does not make noise or movement when the other person moves in the bed or exits or enters the bed. We had a Sterns and Foster previously and will never own any other manufacturers product.

It has a soft pillow top while not being too soft that you sink into it. It appears to be very well made. I have had to spot clean it and that was very easy to do. It is a very thick mattress so it is setting a bit higher than my old mattress but not so much so that I need a step stool. It matched up perfect with my old box spring.

Form or medium are just too rough on my back and not good for posture. Definitely different than the mattress in a box that I am used to getting. Set up was a bit tricky. Especially because I wasn't expecting it to stand so high off the floor! It's very thick. very thick. Makes it a bit more difficult to get in and out. But overall that's the biggest complaint I have. It's a nice mattress and I'm confident it will last me for years and years .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stearns & Foster Estate Ultra Firm Tight Top sent me this product free through the BzzAgent sampling program. Before receiving this product, I had a memory foam mattress. This Ultra Firm mattress was just what I needed. My low back pain has been reduced and the amount of tossing and turning throughout the night has reduced significantly. I definitely recommend this to anyone with back issues.

My mattress was about 6 years old and I was waking up to hip and back pain every day, so I was in the market for a new mattress. This mattress is heavy, and the fabric is soft. At first I was concerned that it would be too firm, as it is much firmer than my old mattress. However, the firmness must be what I needed. This mattress is not too firm at all and provides really good support for my hips and back. I am finding that I am sleeping better, waking up less during the night in pain and waking up in the morning with almost no pain. I would definitely recommend this mattress to those looking for a firm and supportive option.

After only a few weeks of use, this mattress the "Ellria" does not feel any better than the 16 year old Sears posturepedic mattress that I was replacing. When sitting on the edge there is a creaking sound every time you move. This mattress does not have good pressure point support after sleeping on it for a few hours. When first getting into bed it feels okay but within hours the top is condensed to feeling like you are on a board. Not the sleep or rest I expected for the price. I will never buy another Sterns and Foster. Many of the reviews I have read recently say that it they have had difficulty with the warranty. I am very disappointed in this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plush and Supportive! We exchanged our Beautyrest Black C Class 14.5 inch King Size Plush Mattress for this because of the body impressions after just the first few days. After going back to Mattress Firm we picked out the Stearns and Foster Estate Pillow Top Soft King to replace it and it has been a great decision. The mattress is just what we were looking for, soft but yet supportive and it bounces back each morning, unlike the Beautyrest we had. I talked to a salesperson at another store who owns a Stearns and Foster Plush mattress and she said it is still going strong after 18 years and claims it is just like the day she bought it. Quality, support and comfort at reasonable in price. What more could you ask for!
