My back used to crack every morning; it no longer does with this mattress. I was deciding between the medium and the firm and went with the firm. It seems a bit hard at first, but getting used to it, and having good sleep with it. So far so good.

My parents have always bought and loved Stearns and Foster, so when my husband and I needed to upgrade our mattress we purchased a firm King sized Stearns and Foster from the Estate collection. Not only has the new mattress resolved his morning back pain, but I swear we can fall asleep faster and sleep more deeply - and it's only been two weeks! We love how supportive it is, and our large dog LOVES it too :) We truly look forward to getting in bed every night. Highly recommend the adjustable base too for adjusting head and leg elevation. 12/10 recommend.

After experiencing several different brands of mattresses for our own bed we knew we had to go back to S & F. Maybe we're "old school" but the old fashioned support system is still good to this day so why deviate from it. Went with medium support and it's plenty firm enough - probably last the rest of our lives(we're mid 70's). We don't want to sink into our mattress, we want it to adequately support us and S & F does just that.

But after this break-in period, the mattress has been a dream. Soft-feeling (but not mushy), supportive, and not hot. My husband is a power lifter (bulky but not heavy) and he also raves about it how comfortable it is.

I would not recommend and customer, especially any z veteran waste their money. Big hope, very low quality. The mattress is like a boat after 4 months. It's not worth buying. You pay for the name and not the Quality. DO NOT BUY. My old mattress was better that this piece of junk,

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too Hot (even with a BedJet) I wanted to love this mattress. It honestly has the best support for your back and hips. I wake up with no back pain which is amazing. This product would be a perfect mattress if it wasn't for one major flaw, and that is that it sleeps HOT! And I mean HOT. Ive tried blowing 3 fans on me, have purchased a cooling mattress cover, and I am also using a BedJet. It still feels like my entire body is on FIRE! I used to sleep through the night, now I wake up 2-3 times from becoming overheated. I am waiting out the 30 days then I am going to exchange this at MattressFirm for a BeautyRest. In my opinion they have much better cooling technology. Stay away from this mattress if you at all are sensitive to your own body heat.

We have the Estate Firm, and it fits the bill for us. It's obviously solidly built, with no sag on the edges and no movement when one person gets up or lies down. Somehow, the mattress is also comfortable for side sleepers (me) and stomach and back sleepers (my wife). We deliberately didn't get the pillow top, because we have any body indentations, and that's worked for us; no sag or indents anywhere. I keep saying to my wife, in shock, "Wow, finally, something that actually does what it says it will." We love the thing. Great sleep, no body pains. Our corgi likes it pretty well, too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Literally the worst mattress I've ever had This Estate mattress has a 12" wide strip across where there is a giant indent, it's especially bad smack in the center of the bed. I couldn't figure out why my back was hurting. I would wake up in the morning completely bent over and not be able to straighten out for a couple of hours. I finally figured out that it's the mattress, It has huge indents where there is no support! After taking all the sheets off and pushing on the different areas of the mattress, I noticed his stripe across the entire mattress which is almost like it's been folded there and the springs have separated. Basically, what happens is your body parked in that area will completely sink in and become deformed to the rest of your body. So that was what was happening to me. I had the worst back pain after buying this mattress for about 2 years. I just figured out The source of my back pain and it's the bed. It's so unfortunate: this was supposed to be a gift to myself and it's been a lemon. I literally sleep better on my couch. And wake up without pain! I

All of the mattress stores only want to cary pillow top models. The y are more expensive so stores make more money on those models. However, for those with any disc/back issues - a super firm mattress is critical to spine health and day to day mobility. I am so glad that ordering our preferred model directly from Stearns & Foster - with complimentary white glove delivery - was an option. We could not be more plesed and well rested

Even though I ordered a soft, it isn't quite as soft as I'd have liked. The memory foam top lets me sink in but, I miss the bounce of the old mattress. But, the proof is in the sleeping and I don't have any of the aches and pains that my old mattress gave me. I do sleep much better on this S and F mattress, no doubt about it. I also like the handles built into this mattress, which my old one didn't have. Important note: this mattress is much thicker than my old and had to replace the old 9" foundation with a thinner 5" one, which I ordered from Stearns and Foster. The old foundation with new mattress had me way off the floor! The new foundation is better than the old one, in any case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I treated ourselves to a new bedroom set when we bought our forever home. Initially, we purchased a foam-mattress based product. After 2 weeks, I couldn't sleep on that mattress anymore. Aches, pains like I never experienced. Everything hurt. That mattress was like sleeping on a cold brick - and the sheets kept coming off! So until our 30 day sleep guaranttee kicked in, I was on the couch. We went back to the retailer and they were great with the exchange. We tried every traditional mattress in the store and kept coming back to our Stearns & Foster Estate Collection soft pillow top. Less than a week later, on our first night sleeping on it (ironically our anniversary!), we both felt a150% improvement in our sleep and felt awesome when we got up in the morning. No aches, no pains. Just a nice, restful, comfortable sleep. Ready to take on the day!

We owned an S&F king size luxury firm pillow top for 9 years and when my back and knees gave out recently, we decided to purchase the estate king size firm tight top mattress. After just 2 nights of comfortable, excellent support, we feel this is a reliable, well- built mattress and recommend it to anyone with arthritis and/or back problems due to advancing age.

Our first night was getting use to the firmness and after that it was sleeping like a baby, we love our new Sterns and Foster mattress, we spent more than we wanted to but it was well worth it. We love our new mattress and are telling all of our friends. Thank You Sterns & Foster for a great mattress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very high quality [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I called Stearns & Foster for help to find out which current model of mattress equated to my 10-year-old S&F mattress -- I wanted to buy a new mattress that is as supremely comfortable as the one I had been sleeping on (Stearns & Foster 'Tuscan Summer') since July 2014. Sydney in the Kentucky office was the best customer service person I have spoken to in many, many years -- she had all the answers, some to questions I didn't know to ask. She offered all the current promotional prices available, explained all the delivery procedures, and ordered the Estate mattress for me during our call. I could hardly believe how easy it was.
