Rated 2 out of 5 by from SOOO HOT This mattress retains heat like no other mattress I have ever owned. My husband and I both wake up frequently tossing and turning trying to find a cool spot on the bed. It is almost tolerable in winter, but I am dreading warmer weather. I would have given it 1 star but my husband does like the support for his back. I can't wait to get a new mattress and we've had this one less than two years. It is already getting dips and lumps too. Also it is very heavy which makes it difficult to tuck the sheets under.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money About 9-12 months into sleeping on this mattress we noticed back pain from the sagging. We have tried rotating the mattress which helped the first time we did it but now that doesn't even help. It's been 18 months and we already need a new mattress but this one was so expensive we can't purchase another one for a while.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste money Bought mattress box spring king from local dealer. 3 weeks it started to sag under regular body weight 1 person only. Bed is almost unbearable to sleep on now. Not worth the money. I wake up sore from sleeping on if regularly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for Back Pain and Side Sleepers I purchased this mattress from Mattress Firm. I explained to the salesperson I had chronic back pain and he showed me the Stearns and Foster. Of course, the mattress in the showroom was very comfortable, but when I got the mattress home, and layed on it, I knew something was wrong. I could feel the coils just from sitting in the bed. My back pain increased dramaticly from sleeping on the mattress. But, I realized the mattress I laid on in the showroom, the top of the mattress was dark blue (which was the Lux). After I realized what I received & what I layed on in the store was different, I immediately called the salesperson. I was told since I got the mattress on a deal they wouldn't take it back. I even went as far to as to speak with the manager...I was told he was the manager. I asked him if he could speak to his manager and explain what happened. I called back and was told that there was nothing they could do because I got the mattress on a deal. WOW...now I'm back again looking for a mattress that does not give me pain. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I hope someone from Stearns and Foster can make this right.

The firm and pillowtop combination has been awesome. I normally sleep on my side, but even naps on my back or all night with congestion gave me a great night of rest.

I am a side sleeper who prefers the firmest mattress I can find. The firm Estate mattress delivers excellent supportive comfort. My first S&F lasted 20 years and my new firm Estate mattress is proving its worth for fabulous sound sleep. The quality careful construction of my new firm Estate suggests this fabulous mattress will serve me well for another couple decades. The mattress is very heavy but with the handles I can still manage to move on and off the platform bed by myself. The reinforced side walls are amazing and will hold up to sitting on the bed edge when necessary.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE THIS IS THE SECOND STERNS AND FOSTER MATTRESS I HAVE OWNED THE FIRST ONE WAS NOT TO BAD BUT THIS ONE IS TERRIBLE IT HAS MESSED MY BACK UP PURCHASED IT ABOUT 10 MONTHS AGO IT FELT DIFFERENT WHEN I LAYED ON THE DISPLAY MATTRESS WERE I BOUGHT IT FROM I TRIED IT FOR 60 DAYS WENT BACK TO WERE I BOUGHT IT FROM WAS TOLD YOU GOT 90 DAY TRIAL TRY IT FOR A LITTLE LONGER AND SEE IF IT BREAKS IN FOR YOU WELL IT NEVER DID WENT BACK TO THE STORE TO TRY TO CHANGE IT OUT FOR ANOTHER MATTRESS BUT THE HASSLE OF TRYING TO GET IT RETURNED IS NOT EASY NOW IAM STUCK WITH A BAD BACK AND EXSPENSIVE MATTRESS I DONT LIKE

Diagnosed, treated, and chronic.We have used our LuxEstate Pillow Top Firm for 28 days so far.I'm not going to tell you are backs are cured. They never will be. BUT from day one we noticed a difference that only got better as days went by. No other lifestyle changes period. The MOST AMAZING SLEEP SURFACE we have EVER slept on. And we have gone through at least four different mattress "systems" in the past 30+ years. I laid on it on my back the day it was delivered while the sheet set we got as a bonus was being laundered. When my wife walked into the bedroom and caught me exactly what I said to her was "Honey, this mattress KNOWS me.

It's fantastic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality disappointment We purchased a Stearn's and Foster king, firm, pillow top mattress in March of 2021 and it is sagging and so uncomfortable we had to go purchase a new mattress today, 1/29/2024. I'm very disappointed in the quality of it, since we paid so much for it. I wake in pain in my back, hips and shoulders every day, unless we sleep on another bed.

The mattress was better than expected, especially in terms of the outer materials. We had tried to use a Saatva firm memory foam bed previously, but it started to get too soft after only a few months. The springs in this bed make it feel much sturdier. Time will tell, but I am guessing it will last much longer. Going back to a spring mattress, I was most worried about motion transfer, but it hasn't been too bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really like my new mattress I started off with a Bed Tech copper lux soft mattress. We had a cold winter and my bedroom became cold. The Bed Tech mattress turned hard as a brick. I was miserable. I then tried a medium firmness Tempur-Pedic supreme overlay for the Bed Tech mattress. I I was miserable because it was too firm. I then tried an Adapt Tempur-Pedic overlay for the mattress. That was not comfortable either. I then went with a Saatva overlay for the mattress. That did not work and was not soft enough. Saatva then told me to order a feather overlay for the Saatva overlay mattress. I was sent two and both of them were contaminated with horrible odors that I could not use. I was so uncomfortable that I decided to get rid of everything and start all over again. I went with a full Estate soft pillow top. I love it. At first it was somewhat firmer than I liked but I have had it now for about 40 days and it is getting very soft and comfortable. I am now comfortable and am looking forward to going to bed rather than dreading it. It was expensive and a big financial burden but it is worth a good nights sleep.

The quality and structure of the sterns and foster mattress is outstanding. Please do not change it. I am sleeping so much better however, I am considering returning it and upgrading to the cooling gel version because it does sleep a little warm. I wish all companies would stop putting hot latex in their products.
