Obviously it is more comfortable and we sleep better. My wife like it because it lacks the pillow topper. That makes it easier to make the bed.

As I'm recovering from a broken back, the promised support from this mattress was quite important. But after I ordered it, I worried it might be too firm. Well, I shouldn't have. The White Glove delivery was great. Right on time, quick and efficient. I couldn't wait to try it. Wow! Turned out this new mattress offers far more than simply support. Oh my yes. It's true comfort. Bottom line: we couldn't be happier with our purchase. Oh, and 'happy to report we're sleepin' like babies.

Growing up, I did not have my own room and we all sleep together in one bed and mattress. Its a typical foam and not even a mattress to begin with. Given the opportunity to experience the product is an achievement unlocked. The quality and satisfaction it gives me when I wake up in the morning equates the value of it. It is an investment and worth the price I paid for. I do not usually buy expensive mattress but this one is worth it.

Our first one was a great mattress but was ruined by our movers during a move and thus had to be replaced. We bought a mattress from a different manufacturer and after several years had to have it replaced because it was sagging. We bought another S+F mattress and are finally sleeping so much better again!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We stayed at a vacation rental and had a really comfortable sleeping experience (especially since my back is usually in pain during and after a rental stay). We removed the sheets from the mattress to see what type it was (Stearns and Foster). As soon as we returned from our trip, we ordered our new mattress from Stearns and Foster and are extremely happy with our purchase. It is super comfortable!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing for value I purchased in August 2023 from the now bankrupt sleep galleria so maybe that has something to do with quality control. Anyhow, I'm primarily a back and side sleeper with low back problems and thought the ultra firm would help me, as mattresses tend to sag and create pressure points. Unfortunately, the mattress is a bit way too firm. This particular ultra firm model is not listed on the site or so I haven't found and perhaps its been discontinued. I waited to long for a potential return. I do like the look of the mattress and it does seem to have some quality build to it, but for the money it's not quite worth it. It was either this or a beautyrest black and i opted for a stearns and foster considering their long term reputation for quality mattresses. Oh well, I'll probably keep it for an extra room later.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this Lux Estate Pillow Top Medium mattress to replace a five-year-old Mail order foam mattress. We are very happy we did. Absolutely beautiful mattress and looked very well made. So nice looking hated to cover it with sheets. After one week we find it very very comfortable and are sleeping better on it than the old foam mattress. Seems much more comfortable and body shaping than the old mattress and sleeps cooler at night also. A very pleasant sleeping experience so far. Worth the money to get a superior mattress. Would recommend this mattress to anyone looking for quality. John L.

We previously had a "hybrid" mattress and wanted something a bit more sturdy and a bit more firm - we found that with the Stearns and Foster Lux Estate Tight-Top Medium. As senior citizens, we wanted something that is firm, but not too firm - this mattress fits the bill! Although a bit pricey, we are hoping the mattress will give us several years of restful sleep.
