Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Hot Mattress! I have the Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop. Its a VERY hot mattress to sleep on. I have never been a hot sleeper but on this mattress, I have turned into one thanks to the Tempur Indulge foam. (This is NOT my first rodeo with memory foam). I have tried 100% Bamboo sheets, low thread count sheets, no mattress protector, and keeping my thermostat at 67 degrees while I sleep. Nothing has helped me sleep cool on this mattress. I even called Stearns' customer service and the Rep said that the cooling cover on the Lux Estate just doesn't work well for everyone. I stopped by a local mattress store yesterday and spoke with the salesman about the heat issues on this mattress. He wasnt shocked and actually told me he expects to hear more complaints about this bed holding heat. He agreed that the vents on the side of the mattress are more cosmetic than anything. It doesnt aid in cooling the mattress whatsoever. I am currently in the process of trying to buy a new (non Stearns and Foster) bed. Aside from the heat, the mattress is comfy for the 3 weeks I have had it. Its a medium soft feel and I am a strict side sleeper.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from low quality support with sagging This is a replacement mattress, and it has the same problem as the previous one. it sinks where we lie. I weigh 175 and my wife 142 so that should not be an issue. We have requested another replacement but the requirements from Ashley furniture exceed our physical abilities ages 84 and 80) such as photographing the label and 360-degree photos of the matress. We had a Sterns and Foster double pillow top for years with no problem This matrass is substandard and not as good as a $500 matress that it replaced. So sorry we did it, we are just stuck with it since we have no clear path to fix the problem.

I am single and weigh 137 lbs so for this to happen this quickly I am questioning how much worse it will get with time?

I now have to buy a soft topper mattress pad because it is too firm. Never buy without first trying it. Since i had previously bought two it didn't seem necessary. Not bery good help online. The only thing i love is the appearance.

It was delivered a week later and I found my first night and every night since then sleep sound and extremely comfortable! I highly recommend this brand of mattress. My first one 20 years ago was a Stearns & Foster and I won't switch to another brand. Thank you!

I am falling asleep faster and waking up less frequently in the night. Best of all, I wake up feeling refreshed. It was pricier than other mattresses ilI considered but in the long run, it was worth the price. Very happy.

My husband and I both slept really good and loved the bed. We've been afraid to buy a new bed and not be satisfied with it so we've put it off all these years, but after sleeping on one of your beds, we decided to go ahead and order one. It's wonderful. I feel so supported in any position.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Waste Your Money My son owned a Cassette Luxery Ultra Plush which was no longer offered so when I called Stearns & Foster they advised me to buy the Lux Estate Pillowtop Soft. The customer service representive told me to try and find a store that carried that mattress before finalizing my order and to try it out. I found the mattress and brought my son along to see if it was comparable to his mattress and we both agreed that it was. I paid for my order and was so excited to receive it. I placed the order in mid June and it was delivered on July 3'd. The first thing that I noticed was that the mattress had a Sealy tag attached to it and I even questioned the guys who delivered it but they were unable to answer my questions. I knew that I ordered it from Stearns & Foster and they take pride on making your mattress so they say. The next thing I did was to lay on the mattress and I knew immediately that it wasn't the same that I laid on in the store. I called customer service several times and they advised me to walk on the mattress to make it softer. The next time they told me that my mattress was firm because of the temperture in my house. In the end they told me to try a featherbed to break it in and when that didn't work I bought a three inch gel mattress topper. After poor customer service I'm stuck with a mattress that cost a lot and is poor quality. My message to anyone who is considering on buying this mattress is just don't waste your money! I had a problem and customer service hung up on me several times before getting someone to help me. Because of them and their advice I have a firm mattress that I'm highly dissatisified with. I saved up to buy a mattress like my son had because I have pemanent muscle spasms but I feel like I'm laying on a brick pile. I'm using the gel topper so I can at least tolerate it. It's by far the most expensive mistake that I have ever made!!

I am 60 years old and have had many brands of beds in my life. Never have I had the best night sleeps since purchasing this bed. My sister recommended Stearns and Foster and boy was she right. I have fibromyalgia and a bad back and I am telling you this bed has been a life saver. They said it might take awhile to get use to a new bed .. not for me. The very first night in my bed was life changing. I have told everyone I know with pain how this bed has changed my life. I wish I would have known this many years ago. ❤️

We visited many furniture showrooms and laid on many beds but kept coming back to Stearns and Foster. For various reasons we bought our bed directly from Stearns and Foster and found their customer service to be top rate. We are primarily side sleepers and found this medium firmness bed gave us the proper support. It's been two weeks now and so far are very happy with our decision. We are not only sleeping better and longer but wake up more rested and with less aches.

Once my head hits the pillow and I'm snuggled in bed, I fall asleep asap. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mattress overall was quite comfortable in the beginning DO NOT PURCHASE THE PILLOW TOP!!!!! We have two body indentions in each side of the mattress where my husband and I sleep. Early on I had an inspection done for this reason and of course they said it wasn't bad enough to do anything about it. We rotate the mattress often but it doesn't help. When the grandchildren spend the night they remind us we have a lumpy bed. And every day, when I make up the bed it is a constant reminder of how bad it looks because you can see the indentions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Memory foam doesn't come back up. First mattress we kept four years, way too long. It was like sleeping in a trench at both sides, where we normally sleep. We got a new pillow top mattress which reportedly has springs in the pillow top. Within two months we already were in trenches. It was uncomfortable because you had to roll uphill to go towards the center or edges of the mattress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing sleep We made the mistake of going cheap and ordering a "highly rated" bed-in-a-box mattress sight unseen from another company and it was awful. We quickly returned that one and decided to get more serious and went in-store to try out some other mattress options. After many exhaustive options we finally landed on the Stearns and Foster Lux Estate, pillowtop firm. Still, it's hard to judge a mattress just from a quick 5 minute test in a store with sales people hounding you. I am here to say that we've now had our mattress for a full week and it's seriously the most amazing mattress I think I've ever slept on in my life. I will sound like an advertisement, but I also noticed my ongoing neck and shoulder pain has also disappeared. It's a splurge and an investment but so happy we made the upgrade.

I have felt rested and get good sleep nightly. I love the ability to raise the mattress so I can watch TV and when I have had a hard day adjust it to the position I need for the night.

The Euro Pillow-Top Soft mattress just holds and caresses me with wonderful support. I fall asleep within minutes and wake up completely refreshed and ready to take on the day BEFORE the alarm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more shoulder pain I had to become a side sleeper due to my CPAP and sleep apnea and developed a sore neck and shoulder on my previous firm mattress (which was perfect for my back sleeping comfort). The Lux Estate is now my perfect mattress....so comfortable, supportive and relieves all my pressure points! Better sleep, less waking up, less apnea events. It is a wonderful mattress!
