Rated 1 out of 5 by from If I could give ZERO stars, I would! By far the absolute worst customer service experience that I've ever had. I ordered a Lux Estate PT Firm, based upon other reviews and the Stearns & Foster telephone sales reps recommendation. Everyone was saying that "even though it's designated "Firm-It's more like a medium". Well that couldn't be further from the truth. It is as hard as a rock. I've been trying to initiate a return/exchange for almost a month, and have gotten nothing but grief. The returns dept tells you one thing, the sales dept tells you another. I've after dozens of calls, and at least 12 hrs total spent communicating with reps from both departments. I still have not gotten any resolution. Meanwhile, my back is broken from sleeping on this slab of rock they call a bed. I couldn't be more miserable. NEVER AGAIN! Next step will be to call Wells Fargo and dispute the transaction.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hottest mattress I've owned I swapped out my new Sealy for this mattress during a sleep trial because I felt the Sealy was too warm. I made a huge mistake because this is the hottest mattress I've ever owned and now I'm stuck with it. I was told by the sales rep it would be cooler and it is probably 15 degrees warmer. Also I use it on an adjustable base and the pillow top squishes together creating lumps everywhere. The absolute worse.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sagging in the middle I bought the Estate Rockwell 14.5" luxury plush, Queen, prime only two years ago. For the last six months I have been waking up with neck and back pain. I realized it's because the mattress is sagging in the middle. I'm the only one that ever sleeps in the bed and I only weigh about 140 lbs. Thank goodness there is 10-year warranty. But now I have to go through the hassle of getting a credit and coming up with the difference! I purchased this because it was recommended highly by friends. I'm very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from great disappointment From the first night we tried to sleep on our Lux Estate Pillow top firm, to the 30 th day of trial, I have experienced great discomfort and no support from the mattress. We "sunk" into the firm pillow top and found it uncomfortable -non-supportive- of my back or hips. Each night we sink into the still sunken area of the bed, which makes it difficult to change position to find some relief of my increasing discomfort. I have required physical therapy weekly to treat the increased pain in my hips and upper back, (this condition was tolerable prior to the use of the new mattress). 50% of the time I resort to sleeping on an extra mattress we have in our guest room so that I can get a comfortable sleep. Our mattress is being evaluated as defective. No matter what the determination, we are exchanging this mattress for a different Stearns and Foster mattress-not another Lux Estate Pillow top firm model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst mattress we've ever owned [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress has negatively impacted my quality of life by giving me ongoing back pain, interrupted sleep and exhausted days. This mattress was not even 6 months old when it began to sag in the sections where we sleep, especially where my husband sleeps. When my husband would get into bed, I would roll downhill towards him. I never have back pain or back issues, but this mattress has consistently given me a sore back from sleeping on it. I'm very disappointed with the quality of this product. When I called customer service, they said I had to file a warranty online and the service representative sounded frustrated that she even had to tell me this. Overall, such a disappointing and frustrating experience. We purchased this mattress after previously owning a Stearns and Foster mattress for over 10 years, which had held up wonderfully. My husband bought this current one for me as a birthday present after having my third baby, and I hate that it caused me more pain postpartum than anything else. The pain and discomfort now wake me up multiple times a night, so much so that I end up in my kids' bed. I would not recommend this company based on their rude customer service and process or this product; shop elsewhere.

If you often feel your bed is too soft the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Ultra Firm Tight Top is the mattress for you. I lay on the floor because it help my back but since having this matress, I no longer need to. It is very firm, the firmest matress Ive ever used and it doesn't make me sink down . Since having it, my hips and back no longer have pain. I sleep longer and wake up refreshed and without pain. My previous matress was semi-firm but gave out after a few weeks. It started having dips and was extremely soft. After a few weeks of using the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Ultra Firm Tight Top, it still holds up its firmest. This matress is thick where a box spring would sit you up really high off the floor. I would recommend a bunky board instead of a box spring. If you do enjoy laying on the floor, this is the matress for you! You wont regret it.Definitely recommended this product

When I received the confirmation that I was getting a mattress in exchange for a review, I still didn't believe it. It was delivered and set up with no issues. Lying on it initially, I thought it was too soft. But after a few days I realized it is truly amazing and I haven't slept this good in a long time!

We also bought the adjustable bed to help with my husband's snoring and it is life-changing! We love the split king-mattresses and we are also able to adjust the bed to each of our preferences. I can now sleep in my own bed and get the best night's sleep, instead of having to sleep most of the night on the couch. My husband also loves it as he does not get poked in the arm all night to change positions to reduce the snoring. We are both getting the best night's sleep now. Thank you Stearns and Foster!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a good nights sleep Stearns and foster was my mattress of choice some 20 years ago. I needed a new bed and picked another brand. What regrets. I woke with pain all night long switching from 1 side to the other to try to sleep. I finally realized I needed to return to the brand I chose years ago. What a difference. No more pain during the night, no more pressure points keeping me awake. Love my new mattress. My husband, who wasn’t happy about making a new purchase and getting rid of a 4 year old mattress is so relieved we went back to Stearns and foster. My son loves his and my sister has just placed an order.

I struggle with back pain, and this mattress sinks in the middle. My husband and I feel ourselves rolling into the center. This should provide far more support than it does.

We've struggled to get that perfect mattress without success. Well that's over !! So comfortable, slept like babies & woke up pain free. So happy we made this purchase. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the moneyh i I have tried several of Sterns and Foster mattresses sets and within 3yearsc they tend to sagg in the middle and bulge out on the sides . The warranty is strick depth of sagg must be a certain depth with no stains on the mattress or they will not honor the warranty and you have to take photos of the mattress and send them for review. The whole process may take months before you are notified whether they will replace your mattress. Save your money You can feel lumps in the mattress hard to get a good night sleep on it.

Just after one night, could feel the difference. Woke up refreshed. Wife says she hasn’t seen me sleeping this soundly in years. The mattress is absolutely perfect!

However I was convinced that some of my back pain was coming from my previous very expensive soft mattress. After exploring everything on the market, I kept coming back to this mattress and up till the day it was delivered. I was nervous the first night sleep was spectacular and every night since it’s been the same. I love it so much. I’m buying a second one for our other house.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Long time fan, not anymore Our previous mattress which we loved was Stearns and Foster. After 9 years of using it without sanginess or any other issues we decided to replace it, just because of its age. Considering our previous experience replacing our old mattress with Stearns and Foster mattresses was a blind choice that we felt confident about. Compared to our previous mattress there was a clear difference in quality even before we slept on it, e.g. there were multiple long hanging threads left over from the manufacturing process. We did not think much of this at first, after all a hanging thread is a hanging thread. Now our biggest problem, less than 3 months after purchase, one side sagged so much that it is uncomfortable to sleep on. Turning during sleeping feels like you are going uphill. We had to rotate the mattress 90 degrees to circumvent this issue. Now after close to a year and half turning the mattress is not helping. Maybe this mattress was a one off and maybe not. Probably if I reached out to Stearn and Foster they would replace it, but at this stage we decided to move on because they lost our trust. We just purchased a new different brand mattress today. Sadly, this was a disappointing experience. We loved our first mattress, we wish our second Stearn and Foster mattress was just as a good.
