Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best most pain relieving mattress ever!!! I have slept on Tempurpedic for going on 25 years now and will not ever buy another type of mattress! I just purchased a new King LuxeAdapt Firm 2.0 and had the best sleep last night ever! I am 72 years old and fell about 2 days ago bruising my left side badly and couldn't seem to stop the pain. I slept on that new mattress last night and swear I am a new woman, my body has no pain whatsoever, it is like I never had the injury. My right leg was giving me constant pain as well and now that has subsided. My old tempurpedic split king mattress was 24 1/2 years old so I am sure it had given me the best years and was needing retirement! lol I love these mattresses and since you spend a third of your life in bed, why not have the best sleep that a mattress can supply. I am very active for my age and still do it all. I don't intend to give up easy and feel now I have a new lease on life!!! Thank you Tempurpedic for all you have done!!!! There is nothing I would change on this mattress and I think I have chosen well!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not so soft [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where to start, softness, honestly with the softness level that I've noticed I would expect this mattress to be a medium firm not a soft. don't get me this is still a great mattress, just not very soft to me...and my body needs SOFT. That's the only major con for me with this mattress. It is very heavy but that's not really a con unless you have to move it solo. Now the PRO's gotta save the best for last. It does conform to your body pretty well, and it rebounds fast also. Movement really isn't felt across the mattress, I can not tell when there is movement on the other side from my side. I wouldn't be scared to try the egg test or water test on this mattress, that's how strongly I believe in this mattress in that regard. I can't do it though, a houseful of animals, so while the mattress wouldn't dump the water, the animal sure would. No waking or being awoken due to movement. I love this mattress in this regard. The mattress's design is attractive and very soft; you can sleep on it and be comfortable without sheets. In summary, this is an amazing mattress in many areas, really the other downfall for me is it's not soft enough, but my back is horribly messed up, so it may be just my opinion. Do I think it's worth the price, no not really. But if you can afford it and don't need a really soft mattress then this could be just the right mattress for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You Will Not Find a Better Mattress After 22 years with a Tempur-Pedic mattress, I finally decided to upgrade. Yes, it's a lot of money, but when I do the math, it's less than $1.00 a day. Most people spend 5 x that amount a day on coffee, so I figure a good night of sleep on an expensive mattress is well worth it. We are fortunate to have a flagship store in my city, so I decided to go and evaluate which one would be best for me. I decided on the 13" California King LuxeAdapt Medium Hybrid. Couldn't be happier. Just like the last one before it wore out, one night of sleep and my back pain was no more. Amazing! Looking forward to many years of comfort. Don't wait, your sleep depends on it.

The sales manager, Samantha Cordivano, used her outstanding product knowledge and listening skills to guide us to the model that was perfect for our needs. It is wonderful being back.

It feels like sinking into a cloud that's hugging you. I have scoliosis and arthritis in my knee from surgeries and need a good mattress for a good night's sleep. I love this mattress! My kids keep wanting to take it for their own beds.

That foam kind you have to let air into the bag until it becomes a mattress. I'm glad we switched. The foam layer paired with the springs are a match made in heaven. My partner stoped having back problems after sleeping on this mattress for a few weeks. I love it because it's both squishy and supportive. The ONLY downside is that it has a...smell to it. To be expected with a new mattress but it's a bit strong and plastic. 10/10 would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a new mom and have had a lot of back & hip pain postpartum plus trouble sleeping in general. After switching to this mattress I already feel like a new human! I was a little nervous about the firmness but it really molds to my body easily. I move around quite a bit and it will only take a few seconds to readjust to my new position and hug my body perfectly. I no longer wake up with hip or back pain & I also feel like I am more rested even when I don't actually sleep a full night sleep. I feel like I've been dreaming more which means I'm spending more time in the restorative REM cycle sleep. Amazing a mattress can do all that and this new mom is very happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If someone had asked me how I slept before I received this mattress I would have said "yea". Um, wow, after sleeping on the tempur pedic luxe I can see what I was missing out on. The way it forms to my body and is just so soft yet firm. The first night when I woke up I just felt so good. I normally have to snooze once or twice, but this time I didn't. I just got up. Also getting out of bed felt easier if that makes sense. Like actually easier on my body. I think this is due to the "adapt" technology of the bed. I would recommend this bed to anyone. If you feel like you are NOT getting good sleep I feel like this bed will knock your socks off and genuinely change your life.

TempurSealy sent me a free LuxeAdapt Medium Hybrid mattress through the BzzAgent sampling program and I could not have hoped for anything better. In fact, I had no idea a mattress like this existed! Soft, yet conforms to the body. I can definitely tell a difference in the mornings and I am excited to get in bed at night. To say this mattress is a dream is an understatement. White-glove delivery with text messages and tracking the whole day leading up to the appointment. TempurSealy is all-around a fantastic brand. I will never ever in my life even think of getting anything other than one of these mattresses.

But it is absolutely hands down the MOST COMFORTABLE mattress I've ever slept on in my life! Even without the extra features that could be enjoyed IF I had the Tempurpedic PowerBase for the mattress to be put down into. This is an item which can be purchased (separately) for the mattress to be put into since it hat could possibly I have had this mattress about 3 weeks now, I fell in love the first night & it still keeps getting more and more comfortable!!! I believe that's due to the special type of memory foam that is used in tempurpedic products because it is not just regular memory foam, it is much better! This mattress will conform to your body in the most perfect way and it literally feels like it hugs every part of me which I love! As a side sleeper with scoliosis curvatures in my middle of my back and also where my spine meets my neck. This mattress has already made a huge difference as far as helping my chronic pain that I deal with from the scoliosis. I love that this mattress helps to keep cool at night also, which I think would do even better with that if I wasn't addicted to my flannel sheets lol. Another thing I love about this mattress is that it is not your traditional white or off white colored mattress. My kids especially, and myself can be quite messy, so dark colors are always better for us! I love everything about this mattress I truly do. The comfort level if rated 1 - 10 would definitely surpass 10 by thousands There are only two negative things I can say about this mattress, which both things are not even aspects that would even be an issue with some or most people in the first place. The first would be that it has a very high price point. The next is that it can not be used with a regular box spring due to the heavy weight of the mattress which again, this is probably not an issue for some if not most people.

Beware that if you are transitioning from a softer mattress like I am, you will need to take time to adjust. Firm absolutely means firm for this mattress. However after you lay down you will slowly feel yourself sink into the memory foam of the mattress and its supports your body. My previous mattress always left me feeling as if I needed more sleep. I wake up now more refreshed and ready for the day. I haven't had any back issues since using this. I may get a topper to add a little more cushion but over great quality, delivery was fast and efficient and absolutely a great mattress to have!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way too hot! This is the worst mattress I've ever owned! It's soft and comfortable for a few minutes, then it feels like you're sleeping on a furnace! I've woken up sweating every night since we got it about 2 months ago, even after turning the thermostat to 65 and turning on a fan. I'm very petite, so it's not like I'm a large person sinking too far. We have a split king and I just laid on my husband's side and it feels like it is starting to sink in the middle. Very disappointed in the beds after we spent so much!!

Couldn't have come at a better time as I was in the market to replace my prior memory foam mattress that I purchased around three years ago. We have been having a struggle with the mattress we currently had so was thrilled with the opportunity to test out a Tempur-pedic. My fiance has been a Tempur-pedic customer for the past 20 years and was in the market for a replacement as well. Considering the cost of mattresses, when I purchased a new house and needed a one, I went for a comparable mattress. I went with a Serta memory foam that turned into a nightmare! Neither my fiance, or I could sleep comfortably on that mattress. Upon arrival of the Tempur-pedic adapt mattress, I initially noticed a difference in the thickness. The height profile is lower than the one I had previously which takes a bit of getting used to. The mattress sleeps better than the one I had previously, however, I'm still not sold on a memory foam type of a mattress. Time will tell as I know it takes a while for a mattress to "break in". I am a side sleeper and find that it Isn't the best option for me, along with the fact that it sleeps hot. My fiance loves the mattress and has been able to sleep comfortably at my place when he visits when previously he would get up and go to another room for lack of comfort on the old mattress. I would say that I'm still able to sleep better on this mattress and it was better than I expected, considering I'm not used to memory foam yet.

He said it was too firm without a foam topper on it. It is a bit firm for me but is very good quality. My husband said it is a bit firm, but his back felt good and he slept well. He wishes it would conform to the shape of the body a little more. He also would like it to be not so thick because he does activities sitting on the bed and the mattress is higher off the floor than he would like. It has been a perfect experience to sleep on this mattress. The best part is that it is soft but with a little firmness that adapts to your body. The mattress is comfortable and cool to the touch. I have had such restful sleep recently after using this luxurious mattress. I would highly recommend this to friends and family because of the positive impact on my body. If I had to compare this mattress to others I have owned in the past I would say that this one is a great investment because of the top notch quality. My previous mattresses have been cheap and have not lasted very long. I would have to get mattress toppers just to be able to sleep on it without back problems. I would purchase the Tempur-Luxe Adapt Soft mattress because it is one of the best products I have ever tested. I toss and turn at night and since I have been using this product I feel the difference because it feels like I am sleeping on a modern highly engineered mattress!

It is soft plush supportive and floats all my pressure points on my hips, back, snd shoulders. It is firm enough that you don't sink. I am now getting great nights sleep without tosssing or turning. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best night sleep of my life [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Note: I got the product for free in exchange for writing this review, but I've been a loyal customer for over 16 years and have purchased two other Tempur-Pedic mattresses. I tried switching things up and going with a hybrid mattress and then a traditional mattress for a bit and I'm back to Tempur-Pedic because it's just the best. Things I love about the TEMPUR-Luxe Soft: - It's not hot like some memory foam mattresses can be. - I can lay on my side and not feel like I have to engage all of my muscles to avoid rolling onto my back or stomach. - It supports all of my spine and conforms to my shape. - The edges of the bed have support, so you don't feel like you're falling off the bed if you roll to the edge. - There's almost no motion transfer, so we don't wake each other up every time we change our sleeping schedules. This is a HUGE plus for me. - It has support everywhere, and doesn't have that hump in the middle of the bed AKA "no man's land". - It's not such a deep mattress that you cannot find sheets (this was a huge annoyance with the hybrid. I spent so much trying to find sheets that didn't pull off!) - The break-in period was shorter with this mattress, and I'm not sure if it's because it's a softer model, or something else, but we had one night of wondering if we had made a terrible mistake and then every night since was great. - This mattress is a soft, but keep in mind that it's a TEMPUR-Pedic soft, which in my opinion is closer to a medium firm in other mattresses. I find it the perfect firmness, but this won't be like a pillowtop or a mattress with very little support, you still have the TEMPUR support even though it's "soft". - My husband and I agree on this mattress. Even though we tend to be opposite sleepers, we can both agree on TEMPUR-Pedic.
