Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality and comfort We love our King ProAdapt Firm. We had a Classic Deluxe and needed to replace. We knew the new mattress would feel extremely firm at first but softens up after sleeping on it. Worth not having backaches. The ProAdapt is taller than our older model so being 5'3", I have to have a step stool to get onto the bed. Minor problem for the comfort. We also have Tempur-Pedic mattresses in our guest rooms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Level Comfort and Quality We were both suffering pain in neck, shoulder and hips prior to purchasing the ProAdapt medium hybrid. Granted our very expensive name brand pillow top was 12 years old, we both ceased having pain from day one. Combined with the Ergo frame, subtle adjustments to head and feet positions have given us the best nights sleep we have had in years. Both the mattress and frame are very high quality. We absolutely love our new bed and expect years of comfort.

Pressure points on my hip and shoulder made me sore on my 10 year old mattress. A friend recommended a Tempur pedic. I am so glad I purchased the Proadapt mattress in soft. No more sore pressure points and I sleep much better now.

It's best you purchase the frame and head bound at the time of purchase. We requested a queen size. The salesman told it was. It was really king size bed. Which takes up too much room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a full night's sleep! We are loving this mattress. I used to wake up 3 and 4 times a night and never would I sleep later than 4 a.m. Now I am waking up at 7-7:30. Good thing we are retired! The only negative thing I would say is that it is hard to change positions, but being able to sleep all night and get a full night's sleep is wonderful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bed but really firm I love the new bed. It is really firm so I'm getting use to it. I think it will be perfect in about 6 months or so. I love the no pressure point aspect! My shoulders and hips don't get sore anymore. I love the cold feel too! My old bed made me hot and I'm not hot anymore. I put it on an adjustable bed frame and love it! The only issue is that the mattress slips off the side and I have to fix it or at least check it before getting into bed at night.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally No More Tossing and Turning I've been sleeping on my Tempur-ProAdapt soft for a month now and I love it! I decided on the soft because I am a petite 110lbs and figured I would not get the true cushy benefit on a medium or firm. So far it is perfect and I noticed right away the first night that when I get into position I stay there almost all night! I used to toss and turn and always had shoulder pain and hip pain. My back feels great when I wake so even though it's soft it's supportive. Had a frozen shoulder in the past from bad position sleeping on a regular mattress. Decided to splurge on this bed to benefit my health. I also purchased the adjustable base to complete the experience! Only downside was strong chemical odor from the mattress for the first few weeks. I stripped the bed everyday and opened the window to allow it to air out. Now today 4 weeks later it is very minimal, I'm sure it will dissipate completely soon.

We have the split mattress and both love that we can choose to lift our head, or feet and not bother each other while sleeping. Also the firmness is perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than any traditional or memory foam I've had! Historically I have purchased relatively expensive traditional mattresses with varying success at comfort. For my last mattress, I moved to a well reviewed traditional name brand, memory foam mattress and had a great experience (I thought) for about the first 3 years; ultimately over the course of the last 2 years developing soft spots and a general feeling of sinking into the mattress worse than I had with traditional mattresses. I don't know how the pro-adapt hybrid mattress will fair over time, but I can tell you it is better on one day one than my all my previous mattresses have been, being incredibly forgiving on body curves while still being supportive. I am 6'1", average around 220 lbs, am a side sleeper, and have had two L5/S1 procedures. Where historically I'd turn over due to pressure points in my shoulder, hips or back (traditional mattress) or felt like I was trying to turn over in wet sand (all memory foam), the pro-adapt med hybrid is perfect for my weight and sleeping style. I acknowledge there is generally a price premium to Tempur-Pedic, and I will have to evaluate performance over the long term, but I definitely feel that this mattress type (hybrid) is executed well, suited to my weight and sleeping style, and that I'm getting a better, much less interrupted night's sleep than I have in perhaps a decade (I turn MUCH less). Recommend the brand, but also recommend taking the time to try out and find the correct version for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yippee - My back is now good! I love the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Soft! Almost purchased the medium, but am so glad I chose the "soft". I still get the support I need, but there's lots of cushion so my back wakes up feeling great and not stiff and I don't walk around for 20 minutes like I need a body cast. Purchased the adjustable base also - we elevate it just a couple of inches and now I don't hear the snoring machine next to me!!! Well worth every penny. Thank you Tempur-Pedic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Mattress I've ever slept on To be completely honest when I walked into the mattress store and saw the prices of these mattresses I was ready to walk out and get something more affordable. I purchased a brand new mattress about 3 years prior and since the day I bought it I've woken up in pain everyday and I didn't want to go through that again with a mattress that was more than 3 times the price I paid for my current mattress. After speaking with the sales person about return options and warranties I finally took a crowbar to my purse and bought the mattress. Let me tell you, this is the best mattress I've ever slept on. I wake up every morning and feel great. No more pain or numbness. No more getting massages because my back and shoulders are killing me. This mattress has changed my quality of life so much that if I knew then how great I would feel each day by changing the mattress I sleep on, I wouldn't have thought twice about the cost. You spend probably about a third of your life in you bed, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and get a quality mattress because it really makes a huge difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Mattress My original Tempur-Pedic Cloud mattress for a little over 10 years and, although the mattress had held up very well, it was too soft for me now. Switched to the Proadapt Firm and noticed the difference after the first night...no tossing and turning and no morning backache for the first time in almost a year. It's firm, but not so firm that you feel like you're sleeping on the floor. I only with I had purchased it sooner!

Every morning, upon awakening, I would roll over on my side, and that was uncomfortable, for me. As long as I stayed in one position, on my back, it was bearable. I gave it almost three weeks, then texted the salesperson, and told him of my unhappiness.

The memory foam mixture is unlike any other I have tried, and the isolation of movement really helps when sleeping next to others that move a lot. I haven't noticed the bed to 'sleep hot' which was a concern on mine when I purchased it. I recently had an accident in which my dog vomited all over the top of the mattress and clean up was very easy since the actual bed cover can be zipped off and washed. I was very happy with how easy this was. The only complaint that I have is that the cover is slippery feeling and that makes it so that the sheets do not stay put. I pretty much have to pull the sheet tight on all sides every day. This can be uncomfortable since the sheet gets wrinkly under my body. It's a shame to be honest considering the price of the bed I had hoped for almost perfect. I am still trying to find the right sheet set to possibly help with this but reading the reviews on the Tempur-pedic sheets does not make me want to spend > $150.00 to try them out. I checked the box for 'yes, I would recommend this product' because I do love the bed, but I am honestly not sure that I would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST!! Everything is just fantastic with the new bed. I'm absolutely loving it. I previously had a Tempur-Pedic which I had purchased some 17 years ago. I guess you could call it "The Original". It was time for an update. I had right hip pain and then left hip pain (compensation) and then back pain (more compensation) and the softer bed was not helping at all. I would wake up in the morning just miserable on some days. While the price tag made me cringe a little, it wasn't nearly as much as I was cringing in the mornings and throughout my days, so I figured my body was worth it. I've been sleeping on the ProAdapt Firm (with the 5" foundation) for a month now, and the change in my body was immediate from the very first night's sleep. Not only do I sleep through the entire night now, I also went from limping around in the morning to getting right up and just going, limp- and pain-free all day. Working from home during the pandemic and having to sit for long periods of time can cause issues with your body especially if you get caught up in your work and forget to get up and move around. Having this bed helps to alleviate some of that - making myself get up & move frequently does the rest! After a solid 30 nights of sleeping on it, I highly recommend this particular bed if you are looking for a firm mattress (along with the foundation). The support without sag is 100% consistent. I am extremely glad I made the purchase, and I will never have anything other than a Tempur-Pedic.
