This mattress did not disappoint. Sleep much better now. Wish we had bought it years ago. Also bought the adjustable frame and like this also.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I wish it was as comfortable as my first Tempurpedic was I had my first Tempurpedic for over 20 years, told everyone to buy one! I never wanted to get out of bed, I could touch my toes first thing in the morning, it was great! Finally needed a new one so of course I bought a second. I wake up 80% of mornings with the worst lower back pain! I've only had it a year it's only half paid for and I wish I could return it.

After a night of playing around with all the height adjustments, I finely got a full eight hours of sleep, in the past 35 years! Would recommend this bed to anybody!!!! Great job Tempur-Pedic, Great job!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made The Right Choice After reading through, watching tons of reviews, and trying out many mattresses I chose the Tempur Adapt. I sleep through the night. In one week my back, neck, and hip pain are gone! It was the poor mattress previous sleeping on. Truly an amazing difference. Even the dog loves it he digs the covers off so he's aon the actual bed. Give yourself a week + to get used to it especially if you slept on an innnerspring in the past it's different but a great different. Get the pillows to it's all worth the cost. I am going to use the 90 day sleep guarantee and step up one level to the Tempur Pro Adapt. Just a bit more cost wise but for me I want the additional 1" APR, (Advanced Pressure Relief), material and bit more cooling concept as I sleep hot. If you are considering a new mattress look no further!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too soft First I have to say is that it is a good mattress and my wife loves it. Unfortunately my back and hips are killing me. My wife is normal height and weight, but I'm 6' 3" and weigh 250 so maybe I'm the problem. What I would like to do is switch to a medium non hybrid and see if that fixes the problem since the wife Loves the bed, but as you know you can only change one time ( and I understand why) I am going to have to switch to a non hybrid firm mattress because my back can't take another mattress like this. On the plus side since I got this mattress I get up before 5 every morning (because of the pain) and have been able to get to work before every one else I guess if I had to make a recommendation I would have to say go ahead purchase a tempurpedic mattress but don't buy the hybrid if your a bigger person the springs won't support you properly.

We have waited a long time to buy a tempurpedic, mainly because of cost after years of a spring mattress that didn't last that long and many back aches I pulled the trigger. We tried every memory foam mattress we could at the stores and didn't find anything like our temper adapt medium. No more back pain for me! Only one complaint. The cover is slippery so sheets don't stay put. Still have to find a solution for that one

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb Went in to get a store brand Hybrid King, and ended buying a Tempur-Adapt Hybrid, I'm 76 and she is 85, I use to wake up with back pain and sleep four to five hours per night, it took a while to get use to it, but I am sleeping seven hours of a good sound sleep, My wife Love's it, she looks forward going to bed early and reading.

We will be upgrading to the tempurpedic pillows as soon as possible! 1 hour of sleep on a tempurpedic equals 6 hours on a traditional mattress. It's in the math people! Quality of sleep gives you quality of life!

Feel like I sleep on the warm side, but I am happy with my choice. A bit on the firm side but I think that is best for me. My dogs are very happy with my choice too

I bought an adjustable base to go with my new mattress and I have no complaints I sleep so much better and with less pressure on my spine. I bought this bed due to medical issues and I honestly have never slept more comfortable in years. My fiancé has a sleep number bed and we've already been talking about replacing his bed with another Tempur-pedic bed that's how much better and more comfortable these beds are

I find the bed uncomfortable. I am not getting good sleep and my back does not feel better. Am thinking of returning my side of this bed. It is a lot of money for a mediocre experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from New to Tempurpedic - Aged with Memory Foam I am not going to be critical nor do I want to change anyone's decision to purchase this product. But I as 1 person's review would like to tell you my experience. I have slept on a Memory Foam 4 inch top with 6 inches of medium foam as base for 13 years. The complaint I have with that old mattress is after 13 years it had "memorized" my pressure points that it became unbearable when moving from that "memory position" to another, causing back pain and shoulder pain. Using the Tempur-Adapt mattress, I no longer have any back or shoulder pain. I have also found that when lying on back I don't need a pillow. I also have a Tempurpedic Adjustable Base, which I wonder why I never purchased years ago. Just raising the head end only 2 inches, NO MORE SNORING...no longer being woke up in the middle of the night from spouse pushing on me to stop. I purchased a cover for the mattress which impedes the heat transfer that Tempurpedic is known for. That cover disappeared the first night! It's only been a month - but I will let you know in several years if I have the same attitude toward this product. Maybe I will move it to 5 stars...

I used to toss and turn and wake up through the night. Now I can sleep through the night without even waking up once! It does take getting used to though, when I hop into bed though as there is no "spring" to it like you get from a regular mattress. Totally worth the investment!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchase For The Second Time We purchased our first Tempur-Pedic because we were not achieving a good night's rest. My husband purchased one without either of us testing it out prior to purchase. The morning after our first night's sleep had us thinking we had made a mistake - we ached from the top of our heads to the bottoms of our feet. The reason was that our bodies were out of alignment from sleeping on a mattress without proper support. After a few nights on the new mattress we were getting a excellent night's rest and our bodies were back in alignment. It came time to replace our Temper-Pedic and because there are no retailers in our beach area we ordered the same model we had the first time. I would not suggest ordering without trying the options out prior to purchase to make sure an appropriate model fits a customer's needs. We had a lucky experience our first time. A testament to the quality of Temper-Pedic mattresses is that after 15 years our first mattress still provided a good night's rest. As a result, we had no body realignment issues with the new mattress. There is no other mattress we would choose. I recommended this mattress to a family member who was also very pleased.

Diagnosis Fibostist, switched mattress to Tempur adapt. Corrected spinal alignment which relieved pressure on nerve. Leg spasms and night cramps ceased. This mattress is very helpful for me to have a good night sleep

This bad boy is a true rock like feel.. dont worry , itll never lose its firmness! So worth $2000.00 + Decided you don't like to sleep on Patrick's rock? You have up to 90 days to fight and never get a return. Or if your lucky enough to finally get that return, you have to pay for shipping and picking up! Oh tempure pedic , Thankyou for making a 5 Month pregnant woman miserable... All I wanted was decent sleep.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I purchased the split king Tempur-adapt medium with adjustable base....I found it was a bit too firm for my liking. Called Tempur-pedic and we swapped out for the ProAdapt split King (paid a bit more but worth it)....I chose the 'soft' for my side, my wife chose the 'medium hybrid' for her side. We both love it and the mattresses are equal thicknesses, which was extremely important being a split king. Customer service was awesome during the whole process. Best mattress we've ever owned!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective top of mattress I purchased two TWIN XL Medium Adapt mattresses from two different stores within two months of each other and within the last six months. The first mattress is much softer than the second one,, i.e. the firmness is lacking. It is obvious that the mattress is defective but Tempurpedic will not warranty it because their claim is that the mattress has to have a sag or depression. They believe that the same model does not necessarily have to feel the same from one mattress to another. I interpret that to be that they have quality defects in production and they don't want to stand behind their product. I submitted a warranty claim but Tempur wants to ignore it because it is not in their interest to stand behind their product. Tempur is asking for pictures that are impossible to provide.
