Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible customer service The mattress they recommended is awful. Couldn't sleep on it. Called them,chatted with them. Asked to return. I'm sitting here with a worthless mattress and nobody has helped to start a return. A whole week and I'm told I'll hear back by Oct 6th. What???? I would have upgraded to a more expensive mattress but no one seems to want my purchase. I have a credit line with Wells Fargo for the upgrade. They have lost a long time customer. Unheard of behavior.

The first mattress we got was awful- way too firm and nothing like we tried in the store- mattressfirm was wonderful to work with for an exchange and recommendations. We landed on the tempur-pedic adapt. There was no break in period needed. My husband and myself slept soundly and woke up rested after the first night! Great purchase!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible I bought this mattress hoping to have a good experience, but all I did was waste my money on something that doesn't give me rest. The mattress sinks, and every day without exception I wake up with back pain, I have never had so much pain as now. The pain remains all day. I'm desperate because I spent a lot of money and I can't rest. I'm trying to find a solution, I hope Tempur can do something, since the investment is not cheap at all. When they solve the problem I will return with an update

I was waking up every night around 3 in the morning with pain in my hips and back. Now I sleep thru the night without any pain. I always look forward to climbing into my bed and loving a good night sleep. Even a nap in the middle of the day is a treat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality mattress. We bought this mattress to replace a bulky pillow top mattress with a large indentation on my side of the bed. I really like the way this mattress takes its shape back when I'm out of it. Also I thought it may help with my lower back pain when getting out of bed. Unfortunately it's not the case the back pain is still there. Not the fault of the mattress. Temperpedic is a great mattress.

There was no way I was going to revert back to different mattress and I don't think he wanted to either as he has become pretty spoiled with my mattress!

I love that it doesn't get hot and I can finally sleep. Only thing I don't like is the height, but I should have ordered a smaller foundation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable and supportive So I must say, when we first got our mattress it was definitely on the more firmer end. My first night sleeping on it I got a little disappointed. My sales rep Zach, told me it would get softer and had a break In period. I was a little worried at first that we bought the wrong mattress, and online there is a lot of mixed reviews about the mattress being "broken in". I did love the feel of the tempur adapt comfort layer on top. Compared to laying on other tempurpedic mattresses, the adapt had a great feel. Plus it's cooling which was a bonus. I do sleep hot and I do not with this mattress. So in store the mattress was considerably softer that they had on display. Given our first impressions of the mattress we had delivered was a little disappointing. However about 3 weeks into sleeping on it, I notice a difference in feel and the foam has softened up. Honestly, it's just the right amount of support, not too soft. It feels closer to what we laid on in store. I'd say it's a true medium feel and you do sink in just the right amount that it doesn't feel like you're in a hole. I don't wake up sore like I did with my previous spring mattress. My only complaint is that I wish the mattress was a little thicker. It's 11''. My husband is about 230lbs, and he does sink more into the mattress, so I'm hoping overtime he continues to get the support he needs. We are more side sleepers than anything and we do get support but it's most comfortable on our backs. Especially, with my husband being heavier, he doesn't feel as comfortable on his side like he does his back. After sleeping on the mattress for about 3 weeks, I've rolled onto the center of mattress where no one lays to test the difference, and the foam is definitely more responsive and soft! We are happy with our purchase and enjoy our bed much more! It's a peace of mind knowing it's a quality and supportive product. No more waking up sore and stiff. Occasional aches, which can be due to just sleeping funny or not the right pillow! We are happy and the mattress will soften a bit over time.

Tried it for a week and didn't like it and to my surprise they wouldn't do anything to help. They said no returns on pillows, sheets and mattress protectors. It was in perfect condition and he wouldn't even look at it. They he said I will sell you another one! I don't think so buddy Good mattress, not so good store!

It's a little warmer than I was expecting even with the cooling mattress protecting cover so if you sleep hot make sure you get a cooling topper and not just the protective cover. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this mattress and Tempur-pedic!!

I've now put a Tempur-pedic topper in our guestroom and the bed is so much more comfortable now. I've had multiples shoulder and back surgeries and these truly are the only bad so I can sleep on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tempur Adapt (medium) I purchased the pro-adapt (medium) and love it! I wish it wasn't so expensive so I could have purchased it sooner... but it was worth the wait! I sleep better, get a deeper sleep, don't wake up tossing and turning to get comfortable. I've looked at my Fitbit for sleep patterns & see where my deep sleep & REM are for longer periods! I wake up feeling rested & refreshed! I currently have regular flannel sheets on the mattress which keep sliding up on one side & bulging in the middle besides making me too hot, so I will be purchasing different sheets that actually fit the mattress better. I also purchased the adjustable base (ergo) and love that too! I purchased that 1st while I was paying off the mattress so I used it with my old mattress for about 6-7 months. Since having them both now, I incline the head every night (more than before) to help with my snoring. And now laying flat on a bed feels weird. Adjusting it several degrees feels comfortable but not so inclined you can't sleep comfortably. I haven't adjusted it to watch TV in bed, however there is a button to make the adjustment. It also has a vibrator (3 settings) for the back, which I've used and enjoy when my back hurts. All in all, both the mattress & adjustable base are definitely worth the money... and as I say, it's an investment in yourself and quality sleep!
