Rated 2 out of 5 by from The Odor I waited to make this review to allow time to change my mind. My complaint isn't the mattress, its the odor that comes from it. The first night we slept on it I had to go sleep in the guest room. The fumes that came from it were more than I could tolerate. Next night my husband joined me. For three days, we set our mattresses out on saw horses outside to hopefully help with the odor. After those three days, we put them on the frame without any bedding and I opened the window and put a fan on them all day. We continued to sleep in the guest room. After about 10 days, I made up the bed and we slept in it. I am a side sleeper so that puts my face closer to the mattress. My husband sleeps on his back so it wasn't as bothersome to him. Although I enjoy the mattress and enjoy the feel and comfort of it and all that the it does with our special frame, I wouldn't be able to recommend it. I do have a very sensitive sense of smell, but this odor was over the top.

My husband is in the military and on his feet all day and the zero gravity helps his back and joints. We ordered the bed and it was delivered in 6 days. So fast and delivery was seamless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleeping soundly all night long After sleeping in my recliner most nights the past couple of years because of an early age dislocated shoulder that has deteriorated over the past 55 years, I am finally able to sleep comfortably all night long, including on the afore-mentioned shoulder. I am so pleased to wake up and not feel sleep deprived any longer. Although priced higher than many mattresses, essential sleep is worth the price.

We talked to the store where we bought it from and they told us that you have walk on it to break it in! What the!!! Sleeping worse on this mattress than our old one plus it's very very warm. Save your money.

I have lower back issues, and until I slept on the TempurLuxe-Adapt firm, I was driven out of bed from back pain by 4 a.m. I was skeptical at first, because of the "sinking in" feeling of the Luxe. I didn't think it would support my lower back enough. I was happily surprised that it has great support and gives, in the right spots, so my hips don't get sore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My. 30 day experience Sleeps very hot.. u sink into the bed like quicksand and cannot get comfortable when asleep. Neck hurt with temper pillows also. I actually slept on the ground the last 5 days prior to bed being returned. I would of probably done the cool bed with medium or mediumhard feel and might have liked it and kept it but couldn't take that chance with only one return allowed. They came and picked it up with no hassles.

Customer Servuce Rep was hostile and dismissive. It took filing a warranty claim and threatening to return all 3 purchased mattresses to get a replacement of the 1 defective mattress.

However, after comparing the models, I decided the Luxe was sounded more fit for my needs. I'm VERY happy with the upgrade, and recommend it to everyone I know.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 37th Day Of ownership & I've been asking for help since day My mattress, Tempur-pedic lux adapt 2.0 is too soft, and very hot. It also feels like I'm rolling downhill or that I have to climb to up to get to the other side of the mattress, because I feel like I need to make sure I don't create a. Because my impression stays in the mattress. While I like a plush mattress, this is on the antique vintage side of soft. You are not supposed to sink in to a brand new mattress and be so hot to give me some help. And yes, it does matter where you buy this from because Ashley won't talk to me until Tempur-pedic does their warranty thing and they can't come look at it until August 7 of 2024. Today is May 27, 2024. The mattress was purchased and delivered on April 20th 2024.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from For 5K, I expected more have had the product for 5 months now. Delayed writing a review to get a good break in period. I am a big guy and side sleeper and bought this especially for my sleep style. It does not cradle well in hips and shoulders so I toss because of the presure causing a sore back when I wake up. It is the soft model btw. furthermore, I am not sure if my king matress is actually a king! It seemed small and I mesured it a few times and the width seems off by a few inches. I know they say individual matress sizes may vary, but we are talking about three or four inches, to the point where i feel they may have deliveredthe wrong size!. I am overall letdown by this bed for the price. I have had a better sleep on way cheaper mattresses.

This results is a feeling of falling out of the bed. Since we did not purchase the "mattress protector" from the retail store they told us they will not do anything about any problems we would have. We are currently looking at going back to a Select Comfort mattress.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Used Bed Im greatly disappointed in this bed. I had high hopes. I dont know if I was given a used bed or what, but one side was already dented in, like it had been slept on. It was from day one. I contacted customer care and they took 10 days to get back to me. When they did they wanted me to send my information again. I refused because it took alot to move that heavy mattress to take pictures and I rehurt my back. Low and behold they had the information that I sent. Also there was no way for them to not have it because you couldnt continue with the claim without the needed information. I had several reps and the last one told me that the bed was not dented enough and the claim was denied. So there is no way for the bed to show that much dent by design. It is a very dense mattress, and you could see it a little bit, but you can feel the huge difference in both sides after flipping it around, which also leads me to believe I have a used mattress. I dont weigh enough to cause any type of dent like that in the bed on day way. So good luck if you need to submit a warranty claim on a faulty mattress that was designed not to cave in, but is some how different on two sides from the 1st day you sleep on it, They will not honor the defect warranty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too hard Do not buy the luxe adapt firm. The lady at Tempurpedic said most people get soft and return it for the firm. Firm is horrible. My wife and I are both side sleepers and after 6months on this horrible stiff mattress we want to get rid of it! We should have gone with soft even though the sales lady said soft isn't good and most people return it. Do not buy firm. We are putting a mattress topper on ours as a last ditch effort before we just donate it! Our backs, shoulders, and chest are sore from this firm brick bed! I've had Tempurpedic before and it was incredible. This "Luxe" firm is bad and stiff as the floor. Do not recommend. Do not buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst night sleep Honestly, I had purchased the Luxe Soft. It was a good mattress, but after only 15 months, it broke down in the center. Their warranty department did finally warranty it after about 20 pictures and 15 emails. Then I went to one of their stories and laid on all the beds...they recommended that I do this, which I agree with. The hybrid med with springs seems to be the best! Boy, was I wrong!! I can't even sleep on it as it is so hard! So I have zero sleep, a mattress I spent over 3000 on, and no refunds! All I want is my money back to get a comfortable bed!! If the first one didn't break down, and have to be warranted I would say it was ok-I honestly thought Tempurpedic would take care of me as a customer and they guarantee the best night sleep or do they?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst mattress I've ever owned I bought this for my husband who was ill. He tried it out briefly in the showroom and thought was very comfortable. That and also because the salesman said this brand mattress was the best-selling in the USA. My husband got sicker quickly and did not mention how difficult it was for him to get in and out of. Too much time passed before I finally got him to admit yes, a poor purchase on my part; was too late to return/exchange. Now am stuck with this awful mattress. Each morning the fitted sheet has popped off, I've tried three different brands. I also had to place a 3" foam topper on because it is that uncomfortable otherwise. I do not recommend this brand mattress.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Suitable for my Back I have a bad back and for the last 6 months have difficulty just getting out of bed. There have been times where my wife has had to help me. The Luxe Adapt Firm mattress foam has softened causing my spine to dip. The sag is minimal and not meeting the 3/4" criteria on the 2 1/2-year-old mattress and our warranty claim was rejected. I'm not sure what I am going to do. We purchased individual mattresses my wife wanted the colling / softer mattress which she loves. I am an engineer and can tell the density of foam has weakened.

I am now sleeping on my downstairs sofa (and getting a pain free night's sleep) since the horrible customer service has refused to fix the problem. Don't waste your money!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy the any Tempur-pedic mattress, poor quality Really do not recommend this product at all. Everyone wants to say there is a break in period but nobody is listening to the actual issue. My house is set at 65 due to having asthma and require it to be colder and the mattress is still SOFT. The mattress sinks thru the supportive layers down to the Hard Density foam causing it to feel as your sleeping on concrete. Now the Tempur-pedic website advertises this 13 inch mattress with layers of conforming comfort with a 9cm comfort layer that Comfort Layer - 9cm that conforms to your body to soothe and relax. Then there is a 3cm support layer which includes the pressure relief of APR Material, plus 30% more ultra-conforming comfort. Now convert the 13 inches to cm and you get 33.02 and that means there is only 12cm (4.72 inches) of foam before you are laying on the High Density Foam. Not enough supportive foam to sleep on and not wake up in pain the next morning. I have done this for over a week now in which the store nor Tempur-pedic wants to replace the mattress for a defect. I have laid on my side and my back however my back, neck, and shoulder, consistently hurt. For the price and the competitive brands out there my expectations were a lot higher from this mattress. Now I'm out the money for this mattress and still had to spend more money for another mattress. Extremely disappointed.
