It was time to replace it, so I bought into the notion of another competitor - dual zones to adjust for individual needs. I suffered for two years with thar competitor's bed. Tried adjusting it countless times but still woke up with a sore back every night. It just does not give the same support that tempur-pedic beds do. Since the very first night on my new tempur-pedic bed my back pain has gone away and sleeping through the night. So grateful!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Insomnia gone and sleeping an hour later these days! I guess I did not realize how much I needed a new mattress, and most of all: I never dreamed I would buy a foam matress. This mattress is so comfortable, and I was told it may take a while to break it in. There was no breaking in ever with the Tempur-pedic Luxadapt SOFT. My insomnia went away and I now sleep later. It was expensive, but worth the investment. The only con is that you do not want to sleep right on the edge, as your body sinks down on the foam and you could slide out of bed. Just move over some. No big deal. Also, the ease makes a big difference too. If I lift my legs up a small amount, it gently pushes my lower back into the mattress, and that gives me great back relief while sleeping and when I wake up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needed a Minute to Love When we first got this bed, I thought that it was way too firm. It took about a week for me to change my mind. Now I feel like the bed is the perfect true medium with support. I had a cloud supreme for over 15 years before needing to upgrade and that bed slept a little warm. I have not been warm in this bed. It is exactly what I was looking for which is soft give to the top with support in the bottom. My husband seems to like a firmer bed and I like a softer one, but we are both happy with this one. I have no problem turning over or getting out of this bed. I like the removable cover on it as well and even though no one will see it, the cover has a slight shimmer woven into the material and just looks great too!

I incurred a back injury while serving my country during Operation Desert Storm!!! This is the only mattress that had the support I needed to get a great night's rest!!! When you spend 1/3 of your life in bed, why not spend it on the best mattress possible!!! Also, the warranty team is the best in the business!!! Rest assured, you are sleeping on the best product available!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TEMPUR-PEDIC MATTRESSES!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a little over a month I have been sleeping on this mattress. So far, for the most part, everything is good. The mattress itself sometimes gets warm but most of the time it is tolerable enough. I had the Luxe Breeze model before this and in all honesty couldn't tell a difference. I could not feel the cooling effects once a protector and sheets were put on the bed. The tech that is suppose to wick heat away I never noticed to work. Sometimes I would wake up and it be more damp on the Breeze than the Adapt. So while the Breeze (with NOTHING on it) feels nice and cool to the touch once you put a protector and sheets on it you can't benefit from it...even with the Breeze protector and the Pro Air sheets. I think its just a gimmick. The older model Adapt mattress I do think was a little softer/had more give. But the 2024 Adapt version is comfortable and has good support while being soft. It is just a little more firm than the old model. Compared to a Cloud Supreme mattress from 2014 it probably feels about the same after the "break in period" but I would say the old one might be slightly more comfortable. Compared to a ORIGINAL tempurpedic from 1998 I would say its not the same quality. The original I had was made in Denmark and was very good. I would say overall it seems like the quality of tempurpedic is diminishing as time goes on which is sad. But aside from that, overall, the 2024 Adapt mattress is probably still the best on the current market when it comes to most comfortable. The price is high but I didn't like anything else. And as far as the other models go I have tried all of them and would say to choose from either the Luxe Adapt or the Luxe Breeze. However, like I said before, the Breeze I am unsure if it actually holds to what it claims. I don't think the cooling works. I used it for a about a month and never felt it.
