I don't understand how it can give such good support and still be soft enough to sleep on my side. Unless my previous memory foam mattress, this one doesn't have me turning from side to side to relieve pressure on hip and shoulder. I can sleep on one side for hours without any pain. This is important because my sleep apnea means I must sleep on my side.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Softish Is ok. Not nearly as soft as my last mattress. Sides have no rigidity - can't sit on or sleep near the edge, for fear of falling right off. Also it is quite hot compared to other mattresses. Never before have I woke up sweating. For reference, we are using the same sheets, quilt, pillows, and room conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sleep in years! I'm amazed how at how well I sleep on our Tempur-pedic! I have shoulder and sciatica issues; and I no longer wake up stiff and sore. It took a couple of weeks for my body to adjust, but that is expected whenever getting a new mattress. I now sleep so sound, no longer waking up every couple of hours to change position due to discomfort like I did with a different brand of memory foam mattress.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very expensive and very hot We wake up boiling with sweat. We made sure we had a breathable duvet but once you sink down into the foam of it, although comfortable, it heats. For the money, we are not impressed. Having fans under the bed is not a reasonable answer either.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sleepless in Defiance We selected the "firm" as per in store examples and seemed to be okay and comfortable, The mattress that was delivered is as hard as our floor. We added a topper which did not help. After 3 weeks I have finally created a somewhat softer area that I stay within but getting up is more like climbing out! My wife has since moved to the sofa as she has prior back issues. This is the worst excuse for a mattress ever created!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Temper-Pedic Mattress for Side Sleepers I'm very happy with this mattress and I slept good on this Temper ProAdapt Soft mattress. This is recommended mattress for the side sleepers after I did the mattress questionnaire. Only bad thing about it is that the frame has huge staple shape metal frame that hold the mattress at the foot end where I lean on to put on socks or pant. It was so uncomfortable to lean on the foot end of the bed. So now I lean on near the corner instead.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from About a month in and still not sure how I feel about it This bed was a very hard lump when it first arrived but has softened up a lot in the past month. I am happy that it came with a return policy because I am honestly not sure if I will be keeping it. I think I prefer more pillow top and soft. This bed does nothing to relieve back pain and actually seems to be causing back pain if I sleep on my back. I recently had a better night sleep on a hotel mattress that was really nothing special. I am not sure this bed was worth all the money.

Thought I had found the perfect mattress and was willing to pay a premium for it. Reality is, I feel like I'm sleeping on concrete. Haven't had a good nights sleep since we purchased. The 90 night guarantee, read the fine print! So disappointed.

Since the first night with the Tempur Pedic mattress it has been a night and day difference from the way we feel when we wake up refreshed and pain free.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Second Temper-Pedic We originally purchased a Tempur-Pedic with a 20 year warranty. After 14 years the mattress sagged. It was replaced in 2020 with a ProAdapt hybrid. I recently started waking up with lower back pain and I noticed the mattress was starting to sag causing my lower back pain. Just 3 years old and starting to sag! I am not happy with Tempur-pedic at all. Now I'm in the market for a new mattress. Unfortunately, I will not be seeking another Tempur-pedic.

Then when I try to make return it has been over a month and still have not received a pick up date. We are unable to put our new replacement mattress in our room till Tempur pedic takes this one back. We wake up w aches and pains due to lack of support. Would not recommend Tempur pedic at all. For the price you pay you would hope to get resolution fairly quickly. So wrong.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Struggling to get comfortable Had a Tempur for years and recently replaced it - the new "firm" model is very hard and the tested "medium" is very squishy. Neither seem to be the middle of the road that the older models were and we are having difficulty getting used to the firmness of the mattresses we bought. Older now and perhaps have more joint aches and pains but we seldomly wake up refreshed but rather with exaggerated aches and pains. Would try the "medium" but not sure that would be better and don't want to be stuck with that should it not work better and we want to switch back again. The trial period is almost up and we are 'conflicted as to what to do with this very expensive and not so comfortable bed system. Also got a set of the most expensive sheets that were never opened and decided we do not need but the store refuses to take them as a return or exchange so we are stuck with nearly $400 in useless product!!! A decent product but one that requires very very careful evaluation before spending the money they demand. In our case we are not much pleased with the purchase and get poor responses from the retailer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well made, firmer, less comfortable than store sample The jury remains out on my new Tempur-Pedic mattress. It replaced a hybrid from another manufacturer in its twelfth year of use that developed uncomfortable strike through to the quite firm support layers. The ProAdapt Hybrid was chosen simply because the in-store sample felt the most comfortable among the several hybrids and others on site. Despite the warning of the break-in requirement in the product literature, I found the first few days of use bordering on intolerable. With a week or two of additional use the mattress is becoming better to sleep on and I'm willing to withhold final judgement pending further break-in. I suspect my prior mattress was softer overall (and I'm older and creakier now), but I fondly recall the wonderful, enveloping support it provided during and after break-in. None of the in-store options at Mattress Firm offered this and, in the end, I may pursue adding a topper to try to recapture the feel of the prior mattress.

This is our first experience with an adjustable bed frame and we like it very much. The product(s) also provides some relief for my bad back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not quite the tempurpedic experience I was hoping for [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the ProAdapt Medium Hybrid because I wanted the increased support on the edge and that is good, pretty much what I expected. I was hoping for more of the actual tempur experience in the rest of the bed but it's just not thick enough to provide that. As a result, I frequently get up in the morning with some minor pain in my shoulder and hip. I'm a side sleeper. The pain dissipates after I've been up for a while, so it's bearable. I might have purchased the next grade up in the mattress, but it was out of my price range, especially due to the fact that I bought the EASE Power Base at the same time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality is great, comfort, not so much. The mattress arrived on time and the delivery people were great! Unfortunately the mattress was too hard for my husband's liking. I contacted Tempur- Pedic after trying to "break" the mattress in for 30 days. They were very helpful selecting replacement mattress. Somewhere along the way wires got crossed and my order failed. I was able to get a customer support rep that seems to have taken care of the problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from mattress lumpy, sagging and with no structure my husband and I purchased a tempuric mattress in 2021. The first months of use we loved our mattress. However, today, with two years of use, we clearly feel that the mattress is very sunken where we sleep. We feel a hole where we lay. Both me and my husband are feeling a lot of back pain, especially when waking up, we believe that this is due to the mattress being completely uneven, lumpy, sagging and without structure. I would like to point out that we are not fat, so there is no overweight on the mattress and we don't spend many hours lying down either. We go to bed around 10 pm and wake up between 7 am and 9 am. It's not worth the price, for in two years the mattress will be completely bad, uncomfortable and impossible to sleep on.
